I've had a few takeaways from the restaurant which have always been nice so deicide to book for a sit down meal with friends. We were not disappointed, the food was lovely and well presented, and at a very reasonable price! The staff are also very nice and friendly. The restaurant is small so booking is recommended. I love also that it's BYOB. Definitely gonna try the gourmet night.

Amazing food, as always. The staff, Curtis, Steph and Lisa are friendly and have plenty of advice to help choose from the menu when you can’t decide. The pub is so busy but you can enjoy and unhurried meal that cooked to perfection. I had octopus and it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Definitely, worth a visit but book to be sure of a table.

We visited on Saturday evening and pre booked. The restaurant is lovely inside, and the menu has lots of choices, and as a vegetarian, I was spoilt. The service was excellent and food was first class. We would definitely recommend and return. The lady was very good when we went to leave a tip and she pointed out its a 12.5 % service charge.

I walk past Maurizio's often but haven't eaten there for many years. On an impromptu night out we enjoyed an excellent dinner. The food was authentic and the veal delicious, with fresh vegetable and huge portions. Several people took home the remains of their food, especially pizza. It would be nice to have a bigger choice of house wine by the glass. The restaurant looks very pretty with a tree in the middle, but the unfinished woodwork would benefit from a coat of paint. When full or with a large group it was noisy as there are no soft furnishings to absorb the sound. It is very popular at the weekends so you need to book. A good local dinner.

I believe it has just reopened with new owners. Awful. Paid ÂŁ8 for beans on toast and almost ÂŁ4 for a very small bottle of coke. They had no brown bread and the white bread was a supermarket's value brand at best. And to top it off I was charged a 10% service charge (not optional). Steer clear
