Got salmonella from this buffet last year, i was unable to walk, puking, diarrhea, fever for over a week. I know it was here because it was the only meal I ate that say. Ruined at least £250 of my clothes, boxers etc. I will never return or recommend this restaurant - the 3/5 hygiene rating speaks for itself.

It would help the service if you were given a numbered spoon or table marker so that the server could find where to deliver the food.

Best cinnamon square I have ever tasted! We purchase yearly for a birthday and will continue to do so as they are delicious.

Awful. When the boss is not there the place is not the same. Visited on a Monday night. Ordered the Lamb Tikka Masala with rice and Nan. The rice and Nan were very nice. The lamb was so tough I left most of it. It seems that the place is run by youngsters on a Monday, and it just does not work. Nobody asked me why I left the main dish. I’ve learnt my lesson!

Ordered what I thought was a bubble tea only to receive watery milk with barely any tapioca. Can’t comment on their desserts but avoid the “bubble tea” like the plague.

I ordered breakfast for two, but the wrong items were delivered. I tried to call for assistance, but no one answered. This lack of responsiveness is unacceptable. I strongly advise against ordering from Rickmansworth due to their terrible service.

Have been in this pub many times over the years as it’s great Sport Venue. I was privallged to be invited to their opening night under the new Landlady Louisa. Service was fantastic even though it was busy. Food was spot on and I will be returning. Go Team Western here’s too you smashing it.

After sending many emails and making calls to other pubs in the area, Kyle answered the phone and answered my questions straight away. I was trying to find a suitable location for a morning reception following a funeral of a family member. The Rose and Crown was fabulous from beginning to end! Opened early for us, catered to exactly what I requested teas, coffees and buns, scones which were delicious. Even though it was a sad day Kyle and the team made it bearable. The team were very accommodating and we all felt well looked after. Thank you

Excellent food and service. Sunday roast was great - hot, tasty and plenty on the plate. Would definitely recommend and will go back myself.

Ordered from here at least 20+ times before. Our most recent order was accepted to be delivered even though the Rickmansworth branch was 'closed for refurb' (Website did not actually say this, I only found out after 2 hours had passed and I had to call there Addlestone store). They told me the manager had been informed and a refund would be issued, received nothing yet and its been 3 weeks. They have lost a regular customer now unfortunately

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend. I had an awful time at this place. The staff seemed inexperienced and unhelpful, and the service was extremely poor. The food was disappointing, both in quality and taste. Additionally, the waitress was rude and unprofessional, making the experience even worse. This place does not seem to cater well to locals in Rickmansworth. I would strongly advise others to avoid it
