Went in to ask if they had matcha, the barista told us they didn’t, we said thank you and started to leave. As we were leaving the manager started joking about us asking for a matcha, we hadn’t even left completely and could hear her making comments to her colleagues. Absolutely poor behavior, especially as the head of an establishment that’s supposed to make customers feel welcome. She could have waited for us to leave completely before trash talking us. Safe to say I will not come back. Very disappointed since the interior is actually very nice.

Good sized coffee shop with plenty of seating both inside and out. There were plenty of staff who were both friendly and fast.

Almost every time I order from Costa it's missing items. if they don't have them in stock then it would be useful if they didn't advertise them

I am missing one of the items I ordered. both Costa Coffee and the driver must have been aware but this was not mentioned to me when I recieved my delivery

I visit here often with work (The Inclusion Project) We take adults with learning disabilities here to get hots drinks once a week. The staff are so patient and always serve with a smile 😊❤️

If 0 stars was an option, I would pick it. Me and my friends came in to socialise. when we were sat there this week. An incredibly rude employee cane up to us and told us to leave and never come back because we were taking up tables for valuable customers. i felt like i was a child getting a telling off and i will never take my valuable business to costa from now on. i will go to caffe nero. very dissapointed as i have gone to costa fir years and none of my family will gi there from now on.

Staff is super nice, and the coffee is great.

Cold and late. Utterly dissatisfied and disappointed. Have a small baby and had to go downstairs to tell the driver where I lived.

Was verbally assaulted by one of the staff called ‘Sami’ who was aggressive and rude to me and my friend who were there with our children all because I dared to walk in with a Starbucks coffee… despite us queuing to order drinks and food from Costa. Sad pathetic little boy trying to play the big man. Complaint made.. let’s see what happens and if they actually listen to these recent comments.

Really poor customer service at Costa, Rickmansworth High Street This incident occurred in the Rickmansworth high street branch where one of their employees launched a verbal assault on a single mother and her friend who were both there with very young children. The police are currently pursuing a Public Order Offence. My friend visited the Rickmansworth branch with another friend and their young children. Once they found a space for all to sit together and out of the heavy rain, they went to order. She was met by total hostility, the barista started ranting to her saying that it was unacceptable that she had walked in with a “Starbucks coffee” and he refused to serve her. The cup was actually filled with water as her baby had thrown her beaker on the floor. Also, they were queuing to order drinks and food for all of them from Costa. She explained that it made no economical sense to forgo the sale of three coffees and food for the sake of one small cup of water for her baby from a branded cup, which clearly made him angrier! The barista aggressively chased them to the end of the counter and in an effort to intimidate, continued to shout profanity within earshot of the whole shop and young children. Ironically after being chased out of Costa, they were all welcomed into the Starbucks branch and had a lovely lunch. In fact they confirmed they had no such policy where they would deny custom to anyone bringing in branded cups from elsewhere. Beware!

The staff are so good and work so hard. Outside area too.

My iced latte was missing.. how hard is it to read a receipt? Very dissappinting that they advertise things that they don't seem to have another item was also missing

Yes, it’s a costa, what do you expect? well today i didn’t expect a lovely meme we of staff to remember me (i’m not a regular customer) and my drink order, i also didn’t expect how friendly the staff were towards me. i work local and (years ago) used to go to school locally and i’m confident in saying it’s definitely gotten better over the years and, genuinely, all the staff i’ve ever had the pleasure of having a real conversation with are lovely. unfortunately i don’t remember her name but the lady that served me today was so nice it put me in the best mood before work, thank you :) (sn: costa isn’t as expensive as most make it out to be)

The delivery drive was clueless. I let them in when they buzzed but did not respond to my instructions to open the door even though I explained that I could not leave my children alone to meet them. They were very rude and said nothing.

We travel to this Costa every day of the week even though it’s not our local one, as the coffee is always consistently excellent, along with the service and cleanliness. Knocks spots of all other coffee shops.

I visit Costa Rickmansworth every few months so I’m not a very regular customer but it’s not local to me. I visited this time to meet a friend as it’s a good place to chat. I went to the ladies toilet during my visit, there are 2 cubicles, both were disgusting and how anyone could use either was beyond me. I immediately mentioned this to the staff and they went into clean it straight away and my friend who popped to the loo after me said they’d been cleaned. What I think is needed is a regular check like many establishments do. It’s beyond me how any woman can leave a toilet in that state let alone both cubicles. But kudos to the staff to act on it straight away. Costa still can’t however make a decent cup of tea and I have to take my own teabags. How difficult is it to put a decent teabag into a cup of boiling water!

Costa, every time, over not-nearly-as-good-coffee St*rbucks just a few doors down. Pleasant atmosphere. Be good if the staff could attend a bit more to clearing tables, rather than leaving up to customers. All good though, and staff always friendly.

This is becoming our go to place on a Saturday morning. Dog friendly. Husband likes the bacon roll and a coffee deal. Nice little sheltered outside area with heaters too.

I do not call into this place,as much as I have done.Staff have changed a lot,not so friendly,today though only one male staff member,actually offered to bring our drinks to the table.I was really surprised,and thanked him very much.Manners cost nothing.Also asking what we want,with the screens there,is bad,have to repeat ourselves,and the attitude to the customer is bad too.I used to really enjoy going there couple of years ago now.The training of staff,needs to be addressed.Thank you.

Came in for breakfast. Normally, sausage rolls available, to be warmed. Now only vegan available. Staff rude. Shoved incomplete drink in front of me with no interaction.

The Rickmansworth Costa is the best Costa I go to by a mile. Spacious. Good coffee. I never reckon their cakes at any branch - expensive, small portions and far too sweet for me. The staff at Rickmansworth Costa are superb. They make it worth passing my local Costa every day to go there. They are so professional and friendly.

Popped in on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. Stood waiting while 2 members of staff ignored me after nearly 5 minutes of waiting. Asked for a mango cooler and was told no we don’t have that. Some customer service training would really help. The staff have no interest whatsoever.

Visited on Sunday 29 May around 10:15. Ordered a medium coffee and croissant on the deal on the board which says buy a medium coffee and you can buy a croissant for £1 - before 11am. I couldn't understand why the £s on the till were so high so queried it. Was told deal no longer available. So I told them to remove the croissant from the order. This sort of sharp practice irritates the hell out of me. They said nothing when I ordered it and indicated the deal and just applied normal prices at the till. We managed to sit outside away from the noise inside which was a plus point. We visit this Costa under duress as we don't like the dogs all over the place in Caffè Nero. But after Sunday we shall see where else we can go. It's a shame. Since they refurbished the cafe it's a nice place to go. Tables need to be cleared more frequently.

Okay but we sat at far end close to the coffee machine, it was very noisy which rather spoilt the experience.

I ordered from Costa today and a glitch in the app meant I ordered something they didn't have. The gentleman I spoke with was lovely and made sure I received something else tasty instead. The food and drinks were delicious. 100% will order again. You guys are amazing, thank you!

It's a normal Costas with the usual range of teas, coffees, biscuits and cakes.

The staff were very friendly and helpful a little pricey for two coffees and a mocha but the sizes were very generous. I'd go again.

Very nice place to go to relax of have a meeting and enjoy a nice drink. The staff are really friendly. Even when I made a mistake in my order they were so helpful and remade my drink super quick. The store was very clean with loads of chairs and tables available to use. I look forward to coming back again very soon.

Lid of the coffee wasn’t on properly so when I picked up the cup the lid flew off and the entire contents of hot coffee spilled all over me…why don’t they tape the lid on?

Costa is Costa, great coffee and great service, the only reason I have only given it 4 stars is because of the cost per 100ml, you can get the same experience but with a cheaper price tag at Starbucks
