The best restaurants in Stevenage East of England

Decided to have a subway roll today which was very disappointing. Got back to office and found that he had given me a stale roll. I won’t be returning to this branch.

Called in for breakfast this morning with hubby. We had the full veggie breakfast as usual. Content of breakfast was usual with reasonable portion size. However our problem was that most of the components were luke warm and must have been precooked and left under some kind of warmer in the kitchen. I would be surprised if the food temperature met safe food hygiene standards. Absolutely not good enough today. Very disappointing. Should be a lot better

Admittedly, haven't been to a BK in years. Is it my imagination or have the "whoppers" and portion of fries shrunk? The burger seems less "flame-grilled" tasting like I remember and the fries less tasty. Has the recipe changed? Service was alright though. Interior clean but looking tired.

Food was 2 hours late the last time we ordered so we was offered 50% off the next time. Guess what 2 and half hours later and our food still hadn't arrived. We should have learnt the first time. If you're happy waiting 2 + hours then go for it as the food is nice.. if you get it. Although we was told it'll be 25 minutes more, it never turned up and we called them to say don't bother.

Delicious pizza but a lot of cash for "cheese on toast"

This place is perfect… if you want recooked chicken, uncooked chips covered in pepper? And a drink which is flat, full half with ice and attitude from the lovely staff inside

We have been using Cheese (it seems that the final "e" is part of it) for very many years. For a long time, their legendary 20" pizzas were £10 but they have recently started to go up in price. Whatever the price was, has always been clear in the past. We tried to order online today but were unable to do so because when we put our postcode into their website it only showed the first half of the list of possible addresses. Ours would be in the second half. We phoned them instead. The website had made us expect our pizza to cost about £16. The chap on the phone said it would be about £14. The chap who delivered it charged us about £18. This is no good at all. The pizza itself though was really, really nice and very, very big. We will use them again but they really need to get both their website and their pricing together.

Pork balls too big and tough, not bite sized. Quality of pprk appalling! Schezun beef soggy and again huge pieces. Total disappointment.

Thanks to the young chap, what an exceptional customer service. Only wanted a small pizza for myself but he than mentioned about having a large pizza with couple of side for the price of a small. Which was £10. Surely you can never say no to that. Pizza took less than 10 minutes to be ready and next time when I’m in old town I’m sure I’ll be bringing more people with me.

I personally have boycotted this place for years, My son wanted to go and I knew I was going to get ripped off again, got charged for large meals even though I asked for regular food was Luke warm, Chips were cold and they forgot my hamburger until i approached the counter and produced the receipt Card machine not working fortunately I had cash on me. The restaurant was almost empty so why cant they produce hot food. .

Disappointed with the manager/cashier's attitude when I requested tomato sauce as none were supplied when I collected our family bucket order, reluctantly I was given only 3 satchels for a family 4 and I had to pay for extra satchets. Also only one tray was given, when I requested 3 extra trays his response was not what I expected for loyal customer who has been coming to this branch for many years. Good bye to this branch of KFC

Family of 4, we purchased Family bucket, only one tray given and no tomato sauce. Approached manager who's attitude needs improvement as he only gave 3 tomato sauce and reluctantly gave 3 extra trays. Customer service needs improvement for future customers as we SHALL DEFINITELY BOYCOTT THIS BRANCH and visit KFC located at Leisure Centre Stevenage in future.
