I normally visit the drive-thru with mixed results but I do like the food when it's right and some of the king saver items are great. Staff often seem uninterested, miserable or just plain rude. And I've had whoppers with mayo or ketchup and missing most of the salad, and just lukewarm or cold burgers. This time, I wanted to use the delivery as there was an offer for two for £12.99, ordered at 5.39PM on a Thursday. Two and a half hours later, the order still wasn't on the way when I finally managed to speak with someone to cancel. I spoke with the 'restaurant' around just under 2 hours into waiting and they let me know they had no order details of mine and there was nothing they could do (despite my order changing to preparing here and there via the app). I then spoke with Uber Eats who said it wasn't on them and told me to contact Burger King instead. I eventually found another Uber Eats line to call or whatever is on the email and they said it'd only be another 5-10 minutes, despite this being the 4th or maybe 5th driving going to 'collect' my order. Barely an apology and no offer of a voucher or anything. Awful experience - it's on me for going back despite the staff and inconsistent food, but a joke, nonetheless. I'll stick to Mcdonald's and other establishments instead.

Abysmal, filthy restaurant serving cold, undercooked food, run by management who could not give a monkey’s, and teenage staff who haven’t a clue what they are doing. Ice cream and cold drinks machine permanently broken, toilets appalling, there is nothing to commend this excuse for a restaurant. The worst thing? I complained to the franchisees (pointless complaining to the ‘restaurant’ itself) and they said I would need to submit a receipt for a refund - not even something I requested! They honestly don’t care.

Stopped there last night to grab a bite. Doors closed at 9pm so drive thru only. There were rats everywhere. I figured that as they were only outside that it was probably safe to eat the food. £5.99 for a burger so squashed together that it shouldn’t have cost more than 99p on a saver menu. I couldn’t be bothered to complain because if they don’t know how crap they are already, nothing I say would make a difference.

Visited here at 8.30 last night and had to dodge the 30 or so rats running around the carpark and across the main doors! I wasn’t even allowed to exit the main doors as they locked them I assume to stop the rats coming in!!! Whilst eating my food in the car the rats were running backwards and forwards from the front to the side of the building and around the kitchen door entry / exit! They have a serious problem!!! The food was of poor quality too!!

My local, been twice, won’t go again. 1 hour and a half waiting nearly, ridiculous. Gave the benefit of the doubt after the first time but whilst chatting to other customers it’s obviously like that all the time. Feel sorry for the staff as it’s very clear there is not enough of them to cope with all the delivery drivers, drive through, and walk ins. This leads to frustration among customers that gets taken out on staff trying there best. Management is either incompetent or completely ignorant to it and doesn’t care. Not worth the wait for a soggy burger.

I think it's time a team come in to fix this place, it's been allowed to rot away to the worst burger king I've ever been too. The service is slow and customer service is non existent, at first I thought it was low staff levels but then I saw at least 8 people behind the counter seemed to just be talking and not processing orders. The issue of poorly trained staff has gone back for years. My order on the last occasion was correct but the previous time I went I had to drive back through to get a missing item. Whilst there is a rat problem generally on the retail park the rats frequenting burger king are brazen and because of the poor hygiene levels at the store and infrequent cleaning they are thriving. This store should be the busiest in Stevenage but I won't go back until i know it's been improved. Such a waste of a prime location.

Myself and my family visited this establishment on Saturday, we were waiting in a long line of people to order, we waiting over 30 minutes before having to ask to be acknowledged, i could not believe how poor the service was, Staff just ignoring the custom that pays Salaries, i own a retail business and was shocked by the service. I have written to the Head Office also as i felt really annoyed to wait for 30 minutes and leave without purchasing anything.

New vegan offerings are actually quite good! It's nice to be a rush and actually have a choice of items. Servers are pleasant enough. Food is very overpriced in general, the vegan offerings more so. Also, it's 50p for a sauce, what IS that all about? Should be one free for each meal. Try the vegan.....

Visited for a Whopper meal as was early for a local meeting. Food was spot on. Piping hot and well cooked. Drinks machine was a bonus (bottomless drinks). Service was faultless. I would return.

My team who work locally have committed to going PLANT BASED for a month. We visited BK to try their new PB meals. What a knockout, we couldn’t really tell any difference between a meat burger and the new PB one. The texture and taste is superb. Great service at Stevenage too. Well done BK

I had a Burger King double whopper meal the other day & enjoyed it all. The chips were nice & the delivery was quick. I had a kfc today & the wrap was burnt & I could taste it for ages after it was disgusting I was disgusted. I had awful chips that were manky. The 1 piece of chicken was small. Very unhappy 😔 so I’m putting Burger King over kfc. I am happy with my meal. Go Burger King.

Normally we go to Mc Donalds down the road but the drive thru queues were long. Tried Burger King- Big Mistake. Lady taking the order had an accent that I simply could not understand- I just kept repeating my order with Milkshakes and confirmed Milkshakes were okay. After a lengthy wait (could have been through Mc Donalds drive thru by now) arrive at the payment booth and its obviously the same lady taking the orders and dishing them out. Now the Milkshake machine is broken!!! Grrrrr. Cancel the drinks and received one bag. Ordered two kids meals, a Veggie meal and a chicken burger for the mother in law. Got one bag and asked was it all in there. Get home and we have all the burgers but one portion of fries!!! No receipt....Never ever again!

Well that was an experience! Ordered one whopper meal and one double whopper meal. Could not understand the staff, who barely spoke English. Rude. Practically threw the cups at me and pointed towards the dirty drinks dispenser. My burger was barely warm, and the fries tasted greasy. Asked for a fresh, hot burger. Staff member returned with a burger that was steaming,literally nuked in a microwave. Tasted absolutely vile. Avoid this filthy place.

This is the worst burger king I've been in. The food which is freshly cooked (apparently) is luke warm. If not cold also check your food as I ordered three meals and ommitted to place one of the burgers in the bag. I had been to a service station one on Monday and the food was tasty and not and a selection to choose from. However the Stevenage one is on a reduced menu with no signage. If you want a hamburger. The only way to purchase it is by buying a child's hamburger meal. According to the drive thru cashier the smallest burger to purchase is a double bacon cheese burger. Terrible service . Will not use these again unless they change franchise holders as don't seem to care about burger king name.

I've always hated this place due to crap food and service but the family really fancied a burger meal. Maccy D's is an hour wait via drive through so we opted for a BK's delivery. I expected the worse but it was far from it, very quick delivery and the food was spot on, no complaints at all except no app vouchers available.

It seems I didn't finish this review some time ago so it's been a while . However , I haven't returned anyway as I went here very excited about the new supposedly vegan burger that we later discovered isn't in fact vegan after all . That said , our main problem was the fact that the place looked very messy and dirty so wouldn't return .

Was excited a while ago to discover that Burger King had hallumi burger as their veggie option . Just as I spread the word to family and friends . It was taken off th menu . As if that wasn't bad enough I was then told by a member of staff that it was never vegetarian as it was cooked in the same oil as the meat !!! That is called cross contamination Burger King ! You need to play catch up with KFC . Who takes the veggie option off the menu on vegan January anyway !!! Someone needs a shake up !

Absolute joke. Went through drive thru tonight, took a while for them to even take my order. 10 mins later I was still in the drive thru behind 4 other cars. No one had even moved. After 15 mins I'd had enough so reversed out and went inside to see what was going on. The slowest service I have ever seen. The van at the front of the drive thru queue was still sat there waiting. Thought it was supposed to be fast food!! There were only a handful of people inside and they were getting the orders wrong i.e. forgetting the fries etc. There must have been 5-6 people making the food and one serving it. Absolute joke of a place, how it's still open I will never know. I will certainly not be going back.

Absolutely disgusting customer service - this was a second attempt and no different. First time the chef and staff were discussing issues with the manager of the branch instead of serving us. Staff were rude and miserable. Second time staff were miserable and appeared depressed which didn't provide a welcoming or satisfying service,along with leaving drinks without ice. When asked for ice thw staff rolled their eyes and huffed. Management need to reassess their staff and resolve any issues in branch as the franchise will fail.

First time here in a long while. Was always bad before but thought I’d give it one last shot. No queuing system at the till area so I waited to be shouted at by the only person taking orders. I cannot honestly say whether this grotty looking creature was male or female but either way I’m sure I’ve seen it before, playing the panpipes in Bognor Regis promenade......... anyway........ it shouted at me with a friendly ‘NEXT ORDER’ I gave my order, there was no please or thank you from the staff. It just plonked my cup on the counter and shouted ‘YOU FILL UP OWN DRINK THERE’ and pointed at the self service drinks machine (the only thing worthy of the 1 star I am compelled to give as you are not able to give 0 on this site) Once I’d got my drink I returned to counter to join the half dozen or so equally bemused customers who were waiting to see what happened next. Eventually a different female member of staff plonked my tray of food on the counter with no words spoken. I took my food and sat down to eat my lukewarm burger, (considering all they do is nuke it in a microwave you’d think they could at least make it hot !!) cold onion rings and fries that tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in weeks !!!! I did contemplate taking it back to complain but being as none of the staff spoke more than 2 words of English it seemed futile to me. I won’t ever return here, as I mentioned it was always bad but today took the biscuit. Avoid at all costs !!!!!!!!!

This branch of Burger King must be the worlds slowest,3/4hr to get a barely luke warm burger and if your lucky a cold drink from their(on average) 20% choice of stock in the machines.I have had the misfortune of visiting on many occasions with my grandson on the way to football and have never witnessed anymore than a single opperater taking customer orders resulting in queues extending out of the door.Come on.....get your act together or you'll be loosing a lot more customers to your many rivals in the vicinity.

Me and my partner came into today to get some food as we really fancied Burger King but the service was absolutely terrible, it took 20 mins just to have our order taken and then we had to wait another 30 mins to get our food, the lady who served us had no respect towards me and seemed like she couldn’t be bothered and just strolled around while everyone was waiting to be ordered and even get their food. The people that were making the food was terrible as well, they were all standing around and just taking their time like there was nothing to do. One young woman was just standing there drinking her drink over all the food and not paying attention to all these orders coming threw, there was team work at all, I am so shocked as I used to love going in there but I won’t be coming back to that place, I would be happy to go the one in town but that has been shut down. But in my honest opinion this store should be shut down, not the other one, hope you can get this sorted.

After waiting in the drive through queue for about twenty minutes watching the occupants of the car in front get out and go to the counter and ask what was going on,I eventually get to the counter myself,place my order and pay then to be served flat drinks as there was no gas left for the drinks machine then the girl serving told us that she had run out of buns and cheese what an absolute piss take, I got my money back and went to kfc instead. This visit was shocking, told there was no milkshakes and no ice cream? As either sold out or machine broken. To them be served cold nuggets and was given more even colder. They said they would put some fresh ones on, so I went back to my table and wished 5/6 minutes then returned to the counter to ask how long they would be and the response from workers was did you want fresh ones? Even tho they said they would put fresh ones on. They then put some on and ignored me when I was speaking to them about it. This is not good customer service at all. Will not be returning.

Unfortunately I am unable to comment on the food from this establishment as we sat in the drive through queue for over 30 mins and by the time we got to the front we no longer had time to get food as we had to be somewhere! There was one window open taking orders, payment and giving the food. No apology when we arrived at it and apparently no chance of ‘fast food’ here. Save the time, life’s too short, there’s a McDonald’s down the road!!!

I don't know why they have a Drie Thru as after 20 minutes I got my order. The food was ok. What really annoys me is staff that don't give a damn. When someone waits a quick sorry to keep waiting makes all the difference. Also not a good idea to swear while working as we can hear. The drive thru windows are disgusting. The who are is dirty and the menu board never works. So they are unable to prep your order. No wonder why other fast food restaurants thrive while they go further into decline.

It seems to be very hard for this branch to get an order right. It took 3 goes for them to make me a veggie beanie burger with no mayonnaise. One of the attempts they gave me was a chicken burger! I’m so glad I knew enough not to trust it and to check before I left. They often do not have veggie bean burgers when we go in. They even did not have whoppers on one occasion. Ironic when they are advertising these so heavily! It’s such a shame as we love Burger King and it is now the only one in the area. They must get better. No urgency, no customer service, no apologies.

Avoid like the plague, the speed and service here is the worst you'll ever experience in any 'fast' food place. Average waiting time of half an hour if you're lucky and its absolutely not through being busy. People in the queue turning around and giving up, honestly just avoid this place.. .

This place is severely understaffed, food left waiting for ages and staff threatening to walk under pressure. Stood waiting for small meal for half an hour after I paid. The place was moderately busy for the time of day but certainly not would I would call ‘rushed off your feet’ busy. Clashes between staff, toilets out of order and drinks machines not working. Worst Burger King have I ever visited. Avoid.

Arrived at 18:43 with 2 people in front of us. I went to the toilet as my partner waited in the queue. The floor was wet and muddy as I walked into the toilet, the right toilet had no toilet roll and number 2 around the toilet. The left toilet did have toilet paper! But still had number 2 around the toilet (inside I mean by this) so I'm still gunna squat to me safe! As I come back my partner was still in his position in the queue and one person had received their order. Order had been messed up by 2 errors. 19:00 another couple served. 19:05 another couple served. I mean the gentleman behind the counter is a nice enough lad and had balls to come into work everyday knowing how much agro he's gunna get. Two people starting kicking off at different points, one person got their phone and and recorded the queue. And in the end someone who used to work for burger King hopped on to help the poor guy and get the queue going. The only reason we was there 45 minutes is because someone had ordered an uber eats worth £50. The guy wasn't allowed to close the store to allow time to settle the queue. Where's the manager? I have never seen one in there. I go in there perhaps 3 times a month and it's always the same poor over worked guy getting abuse from customers. The ladies in the kitchen didn't have a clue what they were doing as the poor guy had to keep assisting them when making food. He had a lot of wasted food he kept slinging in the bin that they'd made. It was an absolute madness. I hope this poor guy gets a pay rise, even better a new job! And the person who jumped on to help out deserves paying for the effort put in x2 and kictrhn staff who actually know how to make a burger. Rant over.

Turned up on Saturday lunch time with about 8 people in front of us. They were taking orders fast but serving food really slowly, the result was 17 orders waiting on the counter with only one person serving. Absolute chaos as they started serving from both ends of the list! Our meal took over 30 mins to arrive. In that time not table were cleaned so we had to clear our own table. The manager was spoken to but did not seem to have a clue about running the place, even his staff were frustrated with him. Will never visit again.

Had the grand kids for the day (6) of them after shopping I suggested Nando’s they insisted on Burger King against my advice I’d prefer McDonald’s but there choice so in we go decided to get seated first but was unable to find a clean table my wife asked at the counter for a table to be cleaned due to bad attitude of staff member wife said well give me cloth and cleaning stuff I’ll do it

Drive through was closed so had to go inside, floor was all sticky, coke all over the floor in front of the drinks machine along with loads of food and straws. The restaurant was filthy. Ice cream and milkshake machine not working AGAIN!!! Ordered my food, once i got home, the chips tasted like they were a few days old and stone cold. Burger was just about passable, however it was also cold. I wont be using this burger king again. Not sure what hygiene star rating its got, but whatever it is, it should be stripped of it!!

I was in here today and the service was terrible, waited ages then got cold chicken nuggets and a double cheese burger that was cold in the middle. I asked for HOT food and was given another bag of cold nuggets and a look of annoyance about the burger. I waited and waited along with a line of other annoyed customers ( some complaining about the length of time for their orders ) and gave up and asked for my money back from the manager just as they were bringing my food. I heard her say " That's a waste of a burger" She went to the till handed me my money with no apology......I said the service here is terrible, she said " we are short staffed" I said that's NO excuse for not cooking your food properly.......Customer service by that Manager was Disgusting along with the food. I have NEVER gone on a site and complained but I was so annoyed with the whole experience of being in that Burger King I thought other people should know.....GO TO MCDONALDS They should have a zero rating button!!!!

This really is a truly shocking place. It amazes me that they are still in business. We went to the drive thru and having waited 20 minutes and only moved 2 car lengths, we took the decision to go to McDonalds instead! The 2 cars behind us also gave up waiting and went elsewhere! Regardless of whether or not the food is nice, the service is a disgrace!

In the movie Collateral, starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx, they talk about how someone could die in their seat whilst riding the subway and no one would notice all day. This could happen in this Burger King. If you want to wait ages for poor food and then eat it whilst sitting in a rubbish dump, this is the place for you.

We thought KFC before film, started noticing over full bins, tables full of wrappers, then at the counter the floor behind was dirty and bins were full, so I'm thinking they are missing a staff member who cleans up, then served by this poor guy who is just lost for words, all we have are chicken strips and chips..... ok that will do.. My 2 friends get theirs and eat, I'm left waiting while he walks off and clears tables, by now I'm absolutely fuming, no communication, I wait for ages, my friends have kinda finished by now, I ask for my food and I'm told they don't have any.... so I ask for my money back and I'm given a refund...it was so bad I had to laugh, it needs closing down cleaning, the staff need Re training and the food needs to be ordered properly.... absolutely gobsmacked for once in my life..

O dear where to start I love Burger King and wanted to treat the family to a meal after the school time, we all agreed on going to the Roaring Meg in Stevenage to Burger King... Bad choice is a under statement. We all walked in a there were only a handful of people in there, I'm not too sure where they get there staff from but o my God they looked like they were forced to be there and middle aged chap who took the order could even be bothered to look at me when I was talking to him and mumbled back the order to like it was even to much effort to even talk, the other two staff were to busy chatting and spilling more fries on the floor than in the bags, the floors in the food preparation area were littered with food and rubbish that the staff were happy just to walk all over.

I work near this place and needed to get some lunch. Some background - popped in here a few months ago and bought the same meal. On that occasion, my burger had added hair. I took it back and was refunded.

fast food what a joke. I have just sat in my car at the drive through for 2-3 mins with no response...so parked up and went in, stood at the counter for 5 mins and wasn't even acknowledge by the staff members. ended up walking out of an empty restaurant and going to KFC

Stopped here as everywhere in the leisure park was rammed. Saw 3 people working rushed off their feet. Waited ages for our food, it was ok but the place feels disgusting. Every table covered in rubbish so nowhere clean to sit. Floor had rubbish under tables too. Bins full up. No toilet roll in girls toilet so I sent my 5 year old into the men’s to get me some. The stench of stale strong urine that wafted out of the door was horrendous. My son said the floor was wet with what looked like faeces on it. I felt very dirty after this eating my food. Won’t return. Macdonalds have someone constantly cleaning up around their restaurants. You should try this too.

Angus burgers are not proper Angus burgers just a very wide frozen burger in a very small bun . No flavour expensive and the place is dirty. Toilets need renovating. An utter disgrace. Reported to HQ but they don't care either

I had the displeasure of visiting here just now, the restaurant was downright filthy inside and out. The tables hadn't been cleared, the floor was dirty and sticky, the bins hadn't been emptied and don't get me started on the disgusting self service drinks machine. I paid £16 for two adult meals and one childs meal (it hasn't yet made a reappearance thankfully) the chicken royales had no salad at all just mayo slopped all over it, tiny portions of cold chips, yuk! I will never visit here again, I only gave it one star because you can't give none. There was no rats in the mess outside, I guess even they have standards.

We wondered why there were no customers and what should have been a busy time. After ordering our meal we realised why the place was empty. The floor and area around the drinks machine was wet, slippery and sticky. There were five members of staff (all behind the counter and in the kitchen) Not one table was clean. All FOUR bins inside were overflowing. The floor hadn't been swept. Outside there were cigarette ends all over the floor around the tables and again the bins were full. No idea what the staff were doing but not one of them came out to attend to the shop floor whilst we were there. Chicken strips looked they had been re-cooked numerous times and were inedilble. We didn't know there was a MacDonalds down the road and wished we had checked Trip Advisor first. This is by far the worst fast food restaurant we have ever been in. We left swiftly.

What a mistake getting my tea here tonight. The outside seating area had fag ends all over the floor the tables had not been cleared . Frankly not a place I would want to eat anything. Inside was no better. The drinks machine area was swimming in drinks on the floor. The general state of the machine also gave me some concerns. I was in a small queue with only one person taking orders, two members of staff stood chatting to another customer with no scene that he and she could both take the next order.He did stop chatting and took my order and at the same time I told him that the drinks machine area was a SLIP HAZARD and it should be cleaned up. A shrug of a shoulder only makes me see Red, and yes I did make it load and clear how I felt. What the hell is going on with this place ? GET IT SORTED OUT ASAP. At the moment it's a s::t hole.

Got to say this is the worst Burger King I have ever visited. Are Bk going the route of the Wimpy bars.Queued for at least 10mins to place order then queued to serve myself with a drink then queued again while I waited for the food to be prepared. Who came up with this idea? Under staffed no visible supervision (probably all in the Pizza Hut next door).

The restaurant has been poorly run for years and the latest visit was no different. a) restaurant is filthy. Uncleared tables, bins full up, stains on the floor and the furnitureb) food is served luke warm or cold, and has obviously been sitting around for agesc) not enough staff - ONE member of staff serving on the counter at the weekend and one serving the drive through (who were given priority)d) staff unable to sort even the simplest order - four people in front of me took *15* minutes to be served and they got every single order wrong in some respecte) cold drinks dispenser wasn't workingf) staff rude and ratty because of this, and because people kept complaining about all of the above issues. Close this joke of an establishment down and replace it with people who are vaguely competent.

Well what can I say... food was cold we had to ask for hot fries seemed a bit of an effort was not as if we wanted a straw for my drink milk for my wife's tea no napkins .seven staff members standing around talking when you can clearly see that the kitchen needed cleaning and sweeping none of them looked like they wanted to be there I would never eat there again ....discusting..

This place is filthy!! Saw rat outside. Went in toilets and came straight out again, tables never cleaned. The kids serving didn't have a clue how to serve let alone keep the place clean and tidy!! Do any managers read these reviews? Obviously not! Don't go.

Very slow although they were cooking fresh chips. Staff looked unkempt, the kitchen looked messy and dirty. All tables were dirty despite only a handful of customers. We had to ask for one to be wiped. Sorry to say the fast went out of fast food. I would suggest a fresh pair of eyes across all areas. I have not been in it for ages and will not be rushing back.

We decided to go to Burger King at the Roaring Meg on Saturday afternoon. As we walked in we could see loads of tables which had not been cleared away - it looked revolting!!! And in case anyone could argue that the customers should have thrown their own rubbish away there was no opportunity to do so as the bins were overflowing too!! We decided that as it was obviously acceptable to have a filthy restaurant what on earth would the standards be like in the kitchen? So we left. Absolutely disgusting

Hole the tables were all dirty and spilled dried drink was everywhere you looked place hadn't been mopped property for some time as any body with common sense and half an eye could see the dirt and build up was not from just a single days business, the food was not enjoyable the drink machine was limited to choice and filthy the bins were full and the attitude of the staff was comical they could not manage a panic in a plane crash I will be going again purley to see how long it stays open...definitely needs a undercover boss or something it was shocking for 20 quid nearly

Went here at 11.30 this morning! What a joke the guy on the till did not have a clue what he was doing,it was as though it was his first day or he did really not want to be there. All the staff looked no older than 15. Waited ages for our order. With other people complaining about their food and orders . After asking if our food was on it's way was adventually handed 2 bags of food. Had to ask for our drinks cups. Even though we were eating in!! No wander it is so quiet! Won't be going back.

Wow. Everytime I go in this place I'm reminded as to why not to bother!? Barely any staff working but huge queues of customers, forgetting things in your order, always out of burgers/milkshakes, the staff look like they'd rather be anywhere else plus the prices are still sky high? Such a shame as I really enjoy Burger King but this one has to be one of the WORST in the area.

Went to Burger King hoping to grab a quick lunch. It was very busy and the service was slow but the food was okay. There was plenty of seating but we had to sit outside as we brought the dog. Not the best Burger King we have visited so far.

We came in to a virtually empty restaurant and the staff were very friendly and didn't Rush us to make our decision on what it buy. The drive thu was out of order and I could count at least 5 people drive into it and when they realised that it was closed they just drove away.The food is a bit overpriced because we bought a portion of chips and I costed £1.79 and it was tiny.

Saturday lunchtime, 4 staff, one taking orders and money, two cooking and one doing very little. Huge queue, some people walked out without the food they had paid for!! The seating area was filthy, no staff to clean tables, empty the overflowing bins or sweep the floor. The staff were unsurprisingly very stressed but continued to offer a polite service, we felt sorry for them. Burger king powers that be should be ashamed of themselves.

Food was as expected from Burger King.Place was a mess and long queue for food.Saturday lunch and a home game for the local football club just over the road so obviously a busy time. Six staff on, one serving & the rest prepping etc. In the 50mins we were in the place NOT ONCE did we see anyone cleaning, bins overflowing, dirty tables & the self serve drinks area was in a terrible state.The building and outside is quite pleasant but spoilt by bad management.

It is a shame the way this Burger King it is being run. I personally like Burger King burgers. I find it better quality than McDonalds. Every while and then we like to go out for a burger for lunch. This restaurant is in a favourable local with easy parking. It was 1pm on a Sunday afternoon. There was a long queue of people waiting to be served. Business must be good. No, the reason was because they only had 3 staff in total. One taking the order. One runner getting the food and drinks and one person cooking. What!! It is peak time. You cannot be serious. The McDonalds down the road in the leisure park would have more than 5 times the number of staff.The food was nice (usual standard). It was shame about the long wait. Sad.

Drive thru Stevenage everyday on the way back from work so one day was starving because I hadnt eaten all day so I decided I'd get a BK , it was a Saturday at 5pm and they had 3 staff on !! was loads of people who had ordered but we're waiting for food I ordered and got my food way before the people who had ordered before me , a few people who ordered at the same time or after me were informed several items were out of stock this was surprising I have never experienced this in a global fast food chain before. I got my the food I ordered fairly quickly and what I wanted was in stock , I decided to eat in this was my big mistake , every table had the remains of the last customer the place was filthy , I found a table that was dirty but not full of wrappers the table was sticky and needed a good wipe but I was too hungry to care having worked a 12 hour shift without nourishment so I put my tray over the sticky part of the table and made do , I was in the restaurant for about 30 minutes it wasn't overly busy for a fast food restaurant at a peak time probably about 30 -40 people came and went yet not one table was cleaned , I thought if the area where the customers eat is this filthy what are the areas the customers can't see going to be like ie the kitchen which put me off my food. My first plan was to use the drive thru which was shut I should have realised this restaurant was no good then , it was also shut last time I wanted to go there so I drove to the McDonald's up the road I wish I had repeated that decision.

How on earth are these terrible Burger Kings still in business? The one in Lecthworth is even worse.Bad service and bad management is giving Burger King who actually make the best burgers a very very bad name.!!

The food was reasonable, the staff very friendly although not that attentive. Disappointed with vegetarian options very limited and then two of them were unavailable. We were two couples, grandparents and grandchildren, eating before a show. The food no better than ‘pub-grub’, chicken burger very dry, other food passable, drinks ordinary. Would possibly go again, if going to a show, but their are many other eateries within walking distance or short drive, so it would be dependant on the weather. We booked and were surprised how few people were in there, further: trying to book a table is very difficult, so I certainly would not bother going through that drama again.

I am so unhappy with the service I have just received at this location. I went through the drive thru and was asked to wait in a bay as were the 3 cars in front of me. The man at the window said that he had my food and was just making my drink. 10 mins later, a man was walking around looking at registrations of the parked cars and I called to ask if he had my food. He said no and continued to walk around before eventually taking the bag of food back inside. 25 minutes had gone by and I still had not received my food, the man came back outside and asked me what my order was because they had lost it and had to make it from scratch again. No apology was made at any point for this or for the wait. When my food arrived 10 minutes later, I asked for my receipt to which I was told that they would go inside and get it. 10 more minutes passed and I went inside myself to ask about my receipt, I was told they could not give it to me. At this point I had been here for 45 minutes total. When I FINALLY got to eat my order, I was missing my mini fillet

Have been to TGI’s many times in the past but not for a number of years. Was shocked when I saw the price of the dishes on the menu, very expensive compared to other restaurants. Was even more shocked when the dishes arrived & saw the portion sizes. They certainly do not justify the prices! Service - apart from being shown to our seat & delivered food, there wasn’t any. Food - was in all honesty terrible. Luke warm & lacked any real flavour. To top it all off my son was sick later that evening so I now question if his chicken was actually cooked!! Perhaps someone from TGI’s should take a moment to read the reviews as they are not good. I will never be returning.
