Food was 2 hours late the last time we ordered so we was offered 50% off the next time. Guess what 2 and half hours later and our food still hadn't arrived. We should have learnt the first time. If you're happy waiting 2 + hours then go for it as the food is nice.. if you get it. Although we was told it'll be 25 minutes more, it never turned up and we called them to say don't bother.

Now 4 stars is a little high but 3 stars seems a bit tight so I’ve erred on the side of generosity. First time order from here and I must say that it arrived quickly and was piping hot so a big plus there. I ordered onion bhajis, chicken chat, chicken dhansak and chicken madras along with rice and a nan. I actually found it slightly lacking in flavour but that may have been me because my wife enjoyed it heated up the next evening from the fridge. It was hot enough but just lacking in a little flavour for me but lots of sauce which I like and the chicken was decent enough.

Shame, place was in carnage, a simple call to see where our already late delivery ended in an argument between the call handler, assistant manager and chef, all arguing, but my food delivery never arrived. This takeaway is a shambles and will never use again. Which is sa shame as this was the first curry we ordered since moving local.

I have been buying my takeaway Indian from this site for more years than I care to remember but it changed hands a while back.Initially the food was really good and the service just fine but there have been a couple of menu changes resulting in the latest offering which is just a disaster.Every main meal now comes with a choice of pilau rice or plan naan which they will adapt if you want, say, mushroom rice for an extra 50p, same with naan. Additionally, if you collect they will provide a free side dish. This is Ok as far as it goes but there are issues: -1) If you don’t make it clear you will end up buying a side and having the complimentary dish as well2) The price I pay for my curry has jumped noticeably3) Tellingly, the quality of the food as well as the volume of meat in it has gone down.So, after buying my Indian meals from this location for over 10 years I have now changed to another where it is clear what I will receive with my order, the quality has gone up and the price has gone back down to where I expect it.

Placed order online, ordered it for a certain time an hour and a half in advance and was still 45 minutes late, not all of my order had been delivered and most of it was cold, I have kept ringing and ringing and left voicemails all of which have been ingnored. Very disappointed and will not be using this service again

I ordered food from them and within an hour and a half it didn’t come! I then phoned to asked where it was and got hung up on by some man that worked there very disappointed! Won’t be using again.

Fantastic, full of flavour food. Went for the first time last night as we were celebrating friends having their baby. We had the lamb biryani, chicken biryani, Bombay potatoes and a few more dishes. All freshly cooked with exceptionally taste, piping hot and great value. Customer service second to none. They could not have been any more amenable. Polite friendly helpful and knowledgeable about their food also very generous. Our friends said the lamb was amazing with very good sized portions, I also enjoyed my lamb dish just cannot remember the name. Would highly recommend.

I've used Mumbai Spice for the past 18 months and the food and service has very good every time. A wide range of dishes are offered, the quality of the ingredients, cooking and presentation is very good and the servings are ample. Their main dishes are not swimming in oil/ghee and sundries etc are really good. Delivery is usually on time by pleasant friendly staff. Regular 20% Discount Offers on JustEat are a welcome bonus!!! I would have scored them 'Excellent' if I did not know of 'Spice Station' in Chingford, which is absolutely superb !
