We ordered a delivery. We have used Taste of India many times and have always been happy with the food - it is our go to Indian delivery. Last night was different. I can honestly say it was the worst curry I have ever had. Totally tasteless. Not just my main dish - Rogan Josh. But, my Bombay aloo and my partners veg byriani was also bland and tasteless. We were so disappointed. There was no way of complaining via Just Eat as the delivery was great, there was nothing missing and the dish was cooked. So, no o-toon but to leave this review.

My husband was really excited to order some Indian food, he usually drives to this one from where we live because the ones near us aren’t great. We were so disappointed with our food last night. He had a lamb biryani and described it as gritty and the lamb was chewy. I had a chicken curry and the chicken was overcooked and the sauce was bland. We eat different curries regularly as my husband is Sri Lankan and I come from a Caribbean background. We won’t be ordering again.

I really enjoyed my meal. Thanks to all staff at Taste Of India. I will be ordering from here again.

chicken was a bit tough, and the dansak very hot

Food was not very nice. Masala was almost soapy tasting and not edible. Rice was grainy, saag aloo was bitter. Very poor. Popadoms were not fresh either. Best part was the pshwari naan even though it was cold

Ordered many times from here but the quality has massively dipped. Stale naan bread and stale bhajis, despite the food arriving in 20 minutes, makes me think that the food was old or prepared well in advance. And the food lacked proper seasoning with the dansahk having too much heat and not enough flavour. Think I’ll give it a swerve from now on.

Ordered king prawn korma but it was quite clearly not king prawns didn’t taste or look like prawns maybe squid or something but definitely not prawns But everything else was nice

considering the price. I've had better from them .. not great. If you're going to charge premium prices make it better than that !!!

best Indian takeaway....never disappointed

The curry was luke-warm the lamb was crumbly, it looked like it was microwaved and not fresh. there was no flavour, no spice even though I asked for more on the notes.

Rogan Josh was awful. It was watery and bland. Refund denied as they "have their own style and recipe". They should change their style and recipe immediately as this was not acceptable and ended up in food waste bin. Rest of order was OK. Doubt would use again

Sadly the chicken in the Tikka and Butter Chicken was dry and/or overcooked. I would order again as previously I’ve always had good food.

Food arrived in good time. Pity the delivery driver walked between our cars and on my grass and not used the path however he was polite and friendly. Food was luke warm and under seasoned and the chicken was tender but too big chunks taking away the limited flavour. Accompaniments were fine but food just wasn’t good enough despite my previous being a lot better. Was it a new chef??

We have used Taste of India before and as we had guests decided to order a takeaway from here Friday evening. One item we ordered was a chicken passanda, when we got it, it was completely full of salt, just like eating a spoonful of salt, they had clearly added salt instead of coconut! We rung up and spoke to the manager, they sent out a new one which arrived 40 mins later, hence we had all eaten our dinners, my guests had to then eat hers. I sent the original passanda back to taste of India for them to sample. I asked for compensation and after speaking to the manager he agreed it was full of salt however the only compensation he would offer was a 10% discount next time. There will not be a next time because we will certainly not be using these again!

have left the vegetable curry to have tomorrow. I enjoyed the bread & rice there was alot of lamb which was very nice. I enjoyed it alot. I would recommend it & come here again. It tastes delicious. I have some chocolate that is also nice.

This used to be a nice takeaway but tonight it was one of the worst meals I’ve had! So bland and the onion bahji wasn’t even cooked properly

I usually love the food from here, I've ordered numerous times, but tonight all 3 dishes were not up to the usual standard. The Korma was thin and kind of tangy and weird, the Dhansak just didn't do it at all, and the peshwari naan was cold. Very disappointing

This was just Ok for me. First off I ordered a lamb samosa, I don't like spicy, this didn't say it was spicy and yet it was very hot and I only took one bite! It ruined the rest of the meal. Nothing else seemed to have any seasoning, the butter chicken was jus really bland for me, I have had better. Maybe my taste has changed but I struggle these days to find a good indian takeaway. Disappointed. Binned most of it. It would be nice also if these places did smaller portions for one person, far too much.

The naan bread wasn't great and it turned up cold had to put it in the oven

Nicely presented, with nice packaging and overall look. The peshwaei naan was very nice and a good size! The main vegetable biryani was OK, but did not find it did not have a lot of taste and the mixed rice was similar. The Mago Chutney that was separate with the poppadoms also lacked some sweetness and was not very thick. The Ferrero Roche desert however was very well presented and tasted great. The free chocolates was a nice touch.

Didn’t taste like an Indian Biryani at all

First time we tried this place, food was delicious. Cooked well chicken was very tender, flavour was on point, naan fluffy. Only negative it could have been warmer.
