Terrible, horrendous, awful service. First time of visiting, together with family from abroad. Table of 4 adults, 2 children. Table booked for 5pm, got out of there at 7.30pm. Was quite empty when we arrived so we thought great time. Only one starter ordered which came after the main Meals, and were delivered to the table individually. Kids meal came last. Had to remind waiter/waitress a number of times we were waiting for food, drinks, and the final straw was a dessert for the little ones which took 20 mins to arrive. Ice cream ... how hard can it be! Excuse made, a mix up in the kitchen. Then had drinks delivered to the table that were not ours. Didn't bother ordering more drinks as the wait time would have been too long. The bill was reasonable, if only it was correct ... not. We very nearly walked out. We certainly wouldn't recommend or go back to the Stevenage branch again. We suggest you think twice!

Absolutely outstanding service. During a very busy evening, a couple of small things went awry with our order. However the team quickly made things right and then followed up with some amazing generosity. Great service, more places could learn to be as good as the team here!

Shaun was very polite in taking my order and recommended some dishes too that was lovely, 100% recommend the teriyaki chicken and the ebi katsu

Food was ok, when it eventually came. Had a rare child free night with the Mrs and hoping to have an enjoyable meal together. Her food comes out pretty quickly. I wait a good 25 minutes after and my main then arrives, by that time she’d finished hers. Also the starters came out half way through her main. The servers were friendly, but the kitchen needs improvements

No one came to serve me for 20mins only after I asked.. my starter arrived at the end of my main meal only because I asked where it was then no one came to offer me my bill for another 25mins in the end I walked up to pay! Worst service ever! AVOID

Lovely atmosphere. We got there around 6pm on a Friday and got seated immediately. There was a queue forming about 10 mins later. Lovely food, quick service, nice friendly waiting staff.

Tuoyo was great good service and very funny with my family and myself

Luke warm food took over 25-30 minutes to get starters when you’re not busy ordered pickled ginger arrived after food was nearly finished. Because you forgot. Spoke to Maria today who has poor attitude great leadership like this non wonder staff can’t get things right. McDonald’s might be better option or kfc at least there’s good shot served quickly no need to speak to manager there.

Very kind staff, told the waitress it was my birthday and they came out with a free birthday cake/brownie for free! Even gave bigger portions then usual.

It was my first visit to wagamama, I require a gluten free menu option, I would like to congratulate wagamama on their allergies policy, very professional, the manager gave me a personal servise, which was very reassuring & my Food was absolutely amazing. I cant wait to visit again

Have been many times to Waga's and love the food. There's no reason for mains to come out before the starters and a minute into tucking into the mains all the starters turn up. I know it's the serving style but it's bonkers to have several dishes arriving at once for no particular reason. Restaurant was probably only 20% full.

The food was amazing, just like the service. We sat at the window and we asked to move because it was cold they helped us instantly. The atmosphere was nice but it was a little noisy. Overall, the experience was good and I would recommend coming back.

I’d never been here before but they certainly didn’t disappoint. I had the grilled chicken ramen and it was 11/10. So good! The food was at our table within 10 minutes of ordering. Loved it and I will definitely be coming again.

Great staff, great food. The service level was top notch. Callum instantly took our orders, went through the menu for some things we didnt understand and the food was with us in 10 mins! Nothing really to complain about and the food itself was great.

Delicious food as always. We had the edamame, chicken raymen and duck donburi again as it's all so good. All of the staff are lovely and quick to help; special shout out to the lovely Calum who was understanding, patient and helpful. Thank you for a lovely lunch!

I went to try Wagamama foods with my wife , son and daughter in law on 27/06/2024 ,TBL 831/1, 6:56 pm. I can honestly confirmed the quality of foods was poor from my experience as Chinese Restaurants and takeaways practice accountants for the last 30 years. I am also owners of restaurants and takeaways. 1. Beef Brisket Hot Pot (£17)-The taste was too plain, beef found in my beef hot pot are surprisingly thin as paper and the soup taste like hot chili and hot water, chef should prepared the soup cooked with bones, prawn, chicken and beef, instead of just adding hot boiling water with hot chili powders. 2. The Pad Thai with Chicken and Prawn (£14.50) ordered by my wife was tasted plain, it seems like cooked by a junior cook who doesn't has good experience. 3. My son and his wife ordered Chicken Ramen (£14) and Beef Ramen (£17) tasted like using Maggie instant noodle cooked with Maggie chicken powders and hot water instead of Bone Brooth. Prices considered above average. Atmosphere and Furniture look average. Kitchen chef and staff need more training in my humble opinions. Kim Ee

Great food! One of my favourite restaurants, servers are lovley and helpfull. Yakiudon was beautiful and the starters were great, I recommend the sorbet, very refreshing! Everything looked, smelt and tasted great. I love that they have photos for everything on the online menu as well. Lots of food for gluten free and vegetarians, Overall highly recommend!

I have ordered via Deliveroo and ordered Chilli squid but because of allergen reason i cannot have any chilli this is why i called the restaurant directly right after ordering to my disappointment my order came not only with chilli but with extra chilli on it. I spoke to Marie who's the manager on shift told me they cannot cater any allergen if the order came through and if the food is ready they cannot do anything. Sorry but i called not even a minute when my order been placed and got my order within half an hour the person i spoke to said he will update my order! Not apologetic at all either. really disappointed of how you train your staff dealing with a person with allergy requirements apparently its your policy not to change anything even if the customer have allergy.! If you’re a customer coming with allergy requirements do not bother coming here at all!

Our meal at Wagamama Stevenage was very nice, served by a lovely waiter called Imogen. Experience was 10/10.

Excellent food and service. Draughty anywhere in the area of the door whenever it opens. They take dietary restrictions very seriously although, for my health situation, it was too serious. The Gluten free menu was extremely limited and many more menu items would have been fine for my intolerance. They automatically classed me as Celiac, indeed they wrote down.

Stood a while at the entrance waiting for Max the manager of the Stevenage branch to stop laughing with the blond waitress who eventually came over and showed us to a table. Other people were waiting as well. Max then continued to have a laugh with 3 other staff members while we waited and looked in their direction but they just ignored us and kept on laughing out loud and having a chatty social. Really poor customer service. And kind of shocking that the manager max was the one who instigated the poor behaviour. He's meant to be running the place. Our server who actually served us the grid though was friendly. Also, they removed the vegan only menu which is very disappointing, as it was one of the reasons we loved wagamama.

To sum it up - food is generally great but inconsistent. The quality changes every time I go. - service isnt terrible and wait times are short but I often have to get someones attention. - prices in my opinion are very steep for what you get - so its a luxury. Pork belly Ramen is in my opinion the best dish (on a good day)

As always the food is incredible but on this visit, my servers couldn't have been more helpful and attentive, making sure I was in a comfortable spot and had everything I needed. Love coming to this location for this reason.

We first found Wagamama when we were in the UK in April of this year. We had an amazing meal at the one in Plymouth. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. It is incredibly difficult to find good value for money anywhere these days. But in the UK, aside from Fish and Chips or Pub food it is virtually impossible. We found the Wagamama in Stevenage, and it did not disappoint. We were only in the UK for 8 days this trip to attend a 90th Birthday party. We went to the restaurant twice and came away happy and satisfied both times... The food is top drawer and the service is very good. There is nothing off putting about it. This seems to be a very popular place for families too.

Like stepping into a Narnia of Noodles, once inside Wagamama the atmosphere and staff are warm and welcoming. The food is always gorgeous and they cater very well for allergy’s. Desserts are Devine.

Bad choice! Do not use this restaurant. The staff is very rude. I placed an order for delivery and tried to make a change to one of the dishes. The staff responded with rudeness and told me that the food was already boxed up. I called them just 5 minutes after placing the order, and overall it was a bad experience. I do not recommend using this restaurant.

Ordered sticky rice with some other dishes, but the rice was hard. Other dishes were cold. Will only go there for their stir-fried noodles.

Food and service were quick!! Update 14.01.24. We arrived and waited at the entrance for a long time before being seated. When we sat, no one came for our orders until we had to get up and to the waiter stations to get someone to attend to use. Meal orders we not complicated but 2 meals came out wrong and had to get it changed. Additional fried egg never arrived even though we paid for. We had had enough waiting for one fried egg of £1.50 we left!

This restaurant always delivers five stars in all categories every time we have visited. Clean, tidy with lovely food and drinks serviced by professional friendly helpful staff. As a family of four it’s a great place for all ages and those new to Asia focused food. Price per person is excellent value and the food is filling. Special mention for Kelly our servicer at lunchtime today for her friendly outstanding service.

Always order Yasai Katsu Curry, and it's always delicious. Staff were super helpful, assistant manager Liviu went out of his way to make sure my order and food were top notch. Can't ask for better than that. One suggestion, there's no way in the online order site to request a substitution, in this case extra sweet potato instead of the aubergine. Please add!

I had my dinner at Wagamama on 17th, 18th & 19th October. All the staffs were great in serving food / helping find appropriate vegetarian food. KIANA was really great, helpful, respectful and kind. Lovely staff to have for diners convenience. She helped me finding right food. I ordered more than I would have in normal circumstances. Put 4 for atmosphere as most of the evening it is overcrowded and you can hear some of the staffs are throwing dishes for cleaning, if sitting next to toilets / cooking area.

Amazing food as always ... But most importantly when we walked in we were warmly greeted by our server Kiana. She was kind and helpful throughout our evening making sure we had an amazing night. I would recommend wagama to anyone who's taste buds love some flavour. I visited on a week day so there was no wait at all but be careful as on a weekend there will normally be a 20-40 minute wait. Overall I would definitely visit again as it's one of the best restaurants in Stevenage.

I think some of the menu items are overpriced for the quality. Generally the main was the best, I got the veg gyoza ramen, gutted they no longer do the cod or prawn ramen. The starter was okay, chilli squid, I don't think it was particularly well cooked and it came out warm, but the dipping sauce was nice. The dessert was sadly the most disappointing I've had in any restaurant, I don't often do desserts but this one sounded really good on the menu. The "chouxnut". It was like one of those cream chouxbuns that end up in the reduced section at Asda. It tasted chemically, it was very clearly not fresh, and it was very small. I resented spending £7 on something similar to a £1 reduced item at Asda.

Food is different, a variety of Asian cuisine, really enjoyed my dish. Only negative, had to scan to pay.

Me and my girlfriend came to try the new vegan menu and it was amazing! Food was a 10/10 and the customer service was great not only did the food come very quickly but everyone was very friendly and polite. Our server Kiana was especially lovely, really helpful and made the experience even better!

when at Wagamamas on Friday evening. the group i was with had a great experience. this was due to our great waiter Tuoyo. He ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal and continued to wait on us with a happy go lucky personality and a smile. This service really made our meal a fantastic experience, due to the great hosting we received from Tuoyo. We will be returning to Wagamumas in the near future, in hope that Tuoyo serves us agin. During my visit I was welcomed by a very friendly waiter I believe his name was Tuoyo. Tuoyo was a very outgoing and professional employee, who made sure our table was provided with everything we needed. I will definitely be returning to this branch as our experience was out of this world. It’s not very often you get waiters who create such a warm and unique atmosphere these days. Thank you Tuoyo!

Fairly large and clean Wagamama's restaurant in the middle of a leisure park. We visited on a Sunday afternoon (at about 1pm), and didn't have to wait at all (you can't book at Wagama's). The serving staff were very friendly and efficient, and the food was very nice. A good range of vegetarian/vegan options. Overall a good experience. _Update Oct 2023_ A slightly more disappointing experience tonight. Had to wait ages to be seated (despite the place only being half full) and then food took a long time to come. I was advised to order some noodles to go with a soup dish - the noodles turned up within about 2 mins and the rest of the dish about 20 minutes later, by which time the noodles were cold. I then ordered a drink which took about 25 mins to arrive - we could see it on the bar, but the staff were all just stood around chatting. Food still nice but service was nowhere near as good as on previous visits.
