Don't normally have kfc often but have the burgers got smaller. There was hardly no sauce and the fillet was half the size of the burger. My other half ordered chicken wings I never seen Amy so tiny. Chips were lovely but again not many

I’ve written before about how this chain is quickly disappearing down the tubes. I decided to venture in today to see if this branch could relinquish any any credulity. They took my order, told me the price, but didn’t take my money! ( As an honest person, I decided to remind them upon leaving). I had decided to eat in but the server started to pack up a takeout until reminded by the manager that I was eating in. I’m , at this point, still waiting to pay. To look for somewhere to eat. Difficult. The place is filthy. Every table, bar one little two-berth, is a disgrace. I decided to perch there. Food: not bad Staff: manners personified, but as a team, chaotic! Ambience: Twenty years behind McDonalds Cleanliness: Dreadful Would I return? No.

This was the third KFC that I have been to in the past eight days - coincidentally, I hardly ever go to KFC normally. This one was by far the best of the three. The price of my mighty bucket for one was the middle of the three. The food was the best. The service was best. The floor was a bit slippy and the table was not clean. Aside from that, it was almost as good as KFC used to be.

The woman at drive thru was very rude. Kept getting order wrong and then getting annoyed about it. She was also on her phone alot

Foods normally good, the issue was the rude woman on the drive thru. Has a rotten attitude and clearly doesn't want to be there. Sooner she realises she's not doing us a favour by serving us but actually is earning a living the better. Stick her out back washing dishes or away from customers

There are a variety if places you can go to get something to eat on Stevenage Leisure Park. It really does depend what you like. The staff at KFC on the Leisure Park are friendly and the food is really tasty. Love it!

Terrible! Drove through about 22:00hrs to get a bucket for the family after a show. When I got home I had more or less double the chicken I ordered loads more sides but the chicken was massively over done. It looked like it had been left in the heat since opening and it tasted worse, you just couldn’t eat it!!! Whole lot in the bin scrambled around to cook something for the children. Thanks KFC I promise there will not be a next time!!

This quick fix lunch was just a terrible experience and has to go down as the worst KFC we have ever experienced. Nasty nasty tasting chicken even the cheapest of backstreet chicken shops would be far better than this abysmal effort and the staff or whoever is in charge here should be ashamed. NEVER AGAIN will we use this excuse of a KFC. Currently a terrible after taste we both have following 6 piece chicken bucket feel terrible for the experience. Shame we took it home as if in restaurant would have sent it back.

My first time in the area I wanted food as I done a long day at work I went in and asked are u still open to his young small ladie just stared at me and didn’t say a word I repeated my self 3 times until she pulled out her phone and walked away from me.. due to this very uncomfortable and rude first experience I will not be a customer here.

We have been there 3 times this year and every single time without fail our order is wrong. We always check now before we drive off and every time have to go back in to complain and when we do we are made to look like the bad ones. I don’t understand how they can keep getting it so wrong. Need to take a leaf out of Mc Donald’s book. No matter how busy they are never have an issue.

Ordered food via speaker - was not told to drive to window - just left there. Got to window and it was clear I was an inconvenience, disturbing their conversation. I was lucky enough, with young kids in the car, to hear how "totally pi**ed off" the server was, as he put it to his friends. My food was handed over, no hand wipes as usual, no please or thank you. Rude. Apparently the food was nice, though, which is something.

There's a newer one near the football ground and the original outlet in the retail park. The one in the retail park is fine, typical KFC. The one by the football ground is the slowest fast food restaurant I've ever been to with completely indifferent staff. Unless you like waiting anywhere up to 30 minutes for a meal I'd recommend the retail park.

Where do I start? After my acquaintance Oliver giving atrocious directions saying ‘just turn left at the Lamex’ I wasn’t in my best mood, as we drove round Stevenage for approximately 7 and a half years before we arrived at the Holy Land (KFC). After that, all I wanted was some hot ‘fast’ food, but gathering money seemed to be an issue. I just want chicken, is that too much to ask ?

This afternoon me and three other lemon squeezers (nutty geezers) set off on a road trip to the great land of KFC. After going round the same round about at least 73.68 times we finally reached the car park. As we entered the store , the atmosphere was nothing but strange,getting looked out like weve just arrived from mars. After getting over strange looks , we proceeded to applying for a mortgage so we could afford a bit of chicken and a pot of gravy. By the time our chicken had arrived we were all well into our pensions and had grand children, and guess what THEY STILL FORGET MY GRAVY.

Bought 8 boneless chicken bucket. Left very disappointed. The chicken was soggy and lukewarm warm, the chips were barely hot and they forgot to include the dips! Gave one circle as wouldn’t let me give none.

Been a while since tried a KFC and going by this the last, 5 peices of chicken and fries, chicken was tuff and the coating was just like normal batter utterly tasteless, fries were soggy and lifeless, and to top it all both of us ended up with dodgy stomachs, never again.

Attended the drive through - drove straight up and ordered , no queue.

Went to drive through and got verbal abuse from staff for trying to use the drive through although there was no signage to say it was closed! Very rude and swearing! I’ve been to the drive through before and been served by a very rude person a young girl has no manners or sense of customer service. Went through the drive through yesterday and was told to pull up in the car park and wait. Didn't think anything of it initially as this happens but after sitting there for 15 mins I had been approached by staff twice, whilst they handed out food to others waiting, asking what my order was. I watched about 12 vehicles drive through and not one was given food, all had to park up. Many people complaining and one lady had to return with her food twice as it was wrong. I went to the drive through window to chase up and then four other people got out of their cars and joined me. I got my burger and chips (That's all) after a half hour wait. Chips were cold too. Totally unacceptable KFC

KFC Stevenage management: Do you know when your busiest times are.?

Visited the KFC near the football ground. Ordering was very easy but after that ... What a mess! Waited 30mins, eventually asked the young lad what was happening with our order. He didn't care one little bit shrugged and said nothing. Eventually a older man appeared checked our order number and said "you have already had it"... No we hadn't and I then pointed at the number which was still on the screen. Ohh he said "we will do it again" waited another 15mins. Young lad then dumped the items in the bag, then forgot the fries and drink. We prompted him and no reply, the older chap told him check the order properly. He then just passed us our food no smile or sorry for the wait. Food was okay in the end but we won't ever return to KFC again.

I ordered a wicked variety bucket meal through Deliveroo. When it came the chips were over cooked and soggy and the 6 pieces of original chicken were all drumsticks. Avoid this place.

Will not be going back. Always something wrong! Also took 25 minutes to be served. This place needs to be sorted or closed. Other KFC in the town just as bad!

Tasteless coating on the chicken..that was the signature of KFC. Luke warm coffee. 9 chips in a bag. Chips black inside. And staff with a poor attitude. Short of a bag if chips when I pointed out was told, have to wait won't you, not ready. Went back 10mins later, what chips dont know what your talking about.. Around us peoples orders wrong. Drive thru car parking area overflowing with waiting customers. No positives at all.

As fans of the great chicken meal, attending the newest kfc near the Stevenage football ground, a couple of hours before kick off we used the drive through we ordered 3 lots of 2 pieces of chicken and fries no drinks but we'll have baked beans instead. Less than 10 minutes drive home the food was cold, not Luke warm but cold. Very disappointing that a company as big as kfc don't have a system or packaging that keeps food a little warmer a little longer

Went to KFC, Leisure Park Stevenage on Wednesday and went to the order area. Staff made eye contact and then proceeded to ignore me and carry on talking to each other. Eventually ordered the food and drove home. When I opened the bag and put the food on plates it became very clear that the fries had been reheated/refried as they were a horrible brown colour. I tried one and it was inedible, soggy and tasteless. I have had a bad experience with this outlet before and vowed never to use it again. However, I was in a hurry and reluctantly went in again - BIG mistake!! KFC need to take action against this franchisee as all these bad reviews are damaging the company’s reputation. If you need fast food try McDonalds instead as their food is freshly cooked.

Yet again we order our food get home and the dips from the dipping feast are missing got sides this time they are usually missing someone should really take care in preparing orders and be in charge it’s a Friday night 18th Jan 8 pm a, key shift !!! Why is the manager not checking orders this is the last time I will order from this outlet. Your area manager needs to how badly run this place is and address the issues most of your customers deal with.

Haven’t been here in a long time as the cleanliness of this KFC was worrying. Decided to have a KFC takeaway last night and wish I hadn’t - nothing has changed.

I can't believe i'm evening reviewing KFC. This place is actually shocking. So dirty that you could probably scoop an entire meal off the floor, about a 10 minute wait time per customer, staff arguing and messing around, and they forget your order. And to top it off, their food is dead. Save your money and go to anywhere else in the leisure park.

Visited on Sunday to buy some box meals for the family - was informed, after waiting forever in the drive-thru,that no box meals or burgers were available - only bargain buckets or chicken pieces! Was we offered a deal on chicken ??....No ! - did that make us want to go back there ?...what do you think ?

This place cannot cope when it is busy. The wait is unbelievable inside and out. The chicken is no where near like kfc used to me.

The restaurant has been refurbished since our last visit so looks quite presentable in the counter area and seating area.

I have been to this kfc twice in a month, first time was just for a crushem. I ordered a malteaser crushem, drove home, only to find it had no malteasers but lots of white chocolate chips. (I dont like white chocolate). Second visit was to order a chicken bucket and another crushem. I really wished i hadnt. The restaurant was disgusting, filthy tables, filthy floors, even the counter where they serve the food was coated in filth. From what i could see behind the counter, that too was filthy. Ignorant and rude staff who dont seem to have a clue how to run a restaurant. Half the chicken i wanted to order wasnt available, staff barely acknowledged me or offered an alternative. The chicken i did have was fatty and slimey. As a franchise this one fails miserably

KFC- Stevenage Leisure Park, ordered 2 wings meal at their drive through, had to repeat myself 5 times to the server which was pointless as he brought the wrong order. When I told him, he got one of the managers, Chris, who lacks manners, extremely rude and shouldn't be in that position to assist. Server now lied right in my face that he asked me if I wanted 6 hot wings and I said no, 2 piece meal. I mean, come on!!!!! I am not deluded, why would I lie about my order? He (server )was trying to make it look like it was my fault. Chris (KFC manager) reversed the order, charged me an extra pound, did not apologise, asked the server to take the wrong meal from me and give me my right order. When I tried to complain he Chris told me to shush! yes, he did. No respect for the paying customer, I should "sush" and leave his business! Dry horrible food, terrible and rude staff! And Chris should not have a customer facing job as he is clearly useless and has no respect for customers! I won't be going back!

Poor service, staff bored and rude. Dirty tables and floors seem to be a constant thing. Food is hit and miss, but not even a trace of hospitality can be found in there.

After a few times of visiting this kfc, the staff were so very rude. Not only was the wait very long, but the stuff had no manners. I won’t be returning to this kfc, having friendly staff can make a big change.

Ordered a family feast and hot wings. When I got home I opened the bucket to find it had 10 hot wings inside no chicken!!!!! It's really not hard to put chicken in a box £20.00 for some hot wings won't be using again.

This restaurant only has a hygiene rating of 4 out of 5 and it certainly shows in the quality of food and service. Had a £40 takeaway order and even though we pointed out items were missing (which were replaced) when we got home we were missing chicken popcorns from the 12 piece bonus feast. We were also missing one 3 boneless meal. I’m not sure if it is incompetence or fraud but it was really frustrating and upset a family meal. Wake up or go out of business - your reputation stinks in Stevenage!

We were served relatively quickly by a pleasant young man. 25 minutes later the food still wasn't ready and I had to chase it up... I wasn't the only one in this situation. The orders were regularly incorrect. The restaurant was unclean, a coke had been spilt by the tills but there was no urgency to clear it up. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment .

Not the fastest service and non chatty staff but good old KFC food. Looks like the drive through is more there main customer aim.

This place is a joke. Firstly, it's filthy in there. The place looks like a landfill site with rubbish everywhere. The tables are always dirty and sticky and the toilets are worse than those in Cambodia. They ALWAYS get the orders wrong and what is I the bag usually manky. Worst KFC on planet Earth.

Haven't been for a long time . I can honestly say it has not improved. The queueing system is terrible order point then collection point you then have to fight your way out the queue to get out of the place, staff have no interaction with customers apart from taking the order no friendliness. I won't go again and will try and talk grandchildren out of it if they suggest it Food wasn't great either

I have NEVER been to a restaurant of any kind that was this filthy. The bins, inside and out, were all stuffed full so customers could not clear their tables. Takeaway and drive through customers could not use the outside bins either as they were overflowing just like those indoors. Therefore tables were left with trays, cups, greasy packets of chicken bones etc. The floors were strewn with napkins. Tables were disgustingly greasy. Visited on a Saturday evening so I understand they were busy but they must have known this, and should have staff levels appropriate to the business. My wife and I eventually cleared a filthy table by cramming the leftovers into an overflowing bin, and then used hand sanitiser and tissues to clean the table which was horribly greasy and dirty. We ordered and ate, and to be fair the food was the usual KFC fare. Meanwhile a staff member came and looked at the tables and bins, said "oh" and wasn't seen for another 20 minutes whereupon he eventually did begin cleaning. Otherwise nobody seemed to care. The toilets were utterly disgusting. "Checked regularly"....every Christmas? The Gents toilet floor was wet with goodness knows what. The wash basin was grubby with the press tap having long ago lost it's top (the part you press). The cubicle with the sit-down toilet was horrible with no lid on the loo role dispenser, again this looked like it happened long ago and nobody could be bothered to repair or replace it....paper and wet marks on the floor (please see my photos, I am not making this up).Something is SERIOUSLY wrong here. I don't often visit fast food places but they are usually not downright unsanitary. I usually like KFC and it's about the only fast food I would look forward to. I will not return to this place. They do offer high chairs for kiddies, one was left in a gangway for our entire visit.

Yet again and for the very last time - went to KFC Stevenage drive through and yet again they got the order wrong unfortunately did not realise until I got home. Come on KFC Stevenage it does not take a lot to get a small order right....... But what do you expect from staff that simply don't care...... plain and simple order........ 1 chicken boneless dipping box consists of...... 8 pieces of boneless chicken, 4 fries, I large box of popcorn chicken, 2 side orders and a bottle of drink - how wrong can you get it?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well they can.... here we go you would have thought it was pretty simple... well only 6 pieces of boneless chicken (2 missing), NO popcorn chicken and only 3 fries..... WHAT AN ABSOLUTE RIP OFF...... I suppose they think it's just one big JOKE...... well it's not I want what I paid for...... went back but NO REFUND...... AVOID THIS KFC ESPECIALLY IF YOUR HUNGRY

I visited this place tonight and they had run out of chicken. The food we did get was not complete even though we still paid full price, was cold, gave my partner spicy chicken instead of plain chicken (after telling me there would be enough for her order) They still continued to stay open even though all they had left we burgers.Poor quality restaurant. The food is absolutely fine, 4 star rating displayed on the door, service was very friendly apart from an assistant being politely told off for not knowing about an order as she was later for work and missed the training that morning. The problem was the temperature, this outlet is so cold, no one was taking their coats off and my abiding memory was why? Not sure if this was a one off or why on earth in January is it nearly as cold to eat in as to take away.

Can't beat KFC as the food is great. Chip portions are small but that's just at this KFC it's at all of them. Always busy, staff not that chatty or happy and sometimes seem like they don't want to be there. All in all its a fast food place and does what it does just need the staff to be a bit more happy.

Well went to KFC for a quick bite and we found it not busy.We ordered our meal and one was the Christmas one now I've seen it advertised and looked good in reality it's nothing like it. The ad shows a lovely layer of cranberry the real one had a smear of something pink. The other thing is why do they serve up luke warm food not very good on the day I visited . In the past it has been a good experience.

When I first paid a visit here 12 months ago it was very good. Now you are bombarded by a faulty speaker playing loud static. Today the place was a tip with rubbish and half eaten food left out on the tables for a long time. Staff passed the tables and ignored it. Then when it was collected the staff girl threw the rubbish in the bin and with a cloth just swept old fries onto the floor. She had no gloves on and then went back behind the counter and served food up without washing...yuk.Then to put a cherry on this disasterous cake the male toilets were horrendous. No way had they been cleaned recently.Food was nice but its probably best to stick to a takeaway.
