Greggs in Stevenage

Long queue 'though god knows why! Had a vegetable bake which was tepid, a vegan sausage roll, also cold and a coffee which was from a blend that has been over-roasted to the point of tasting burnt. (Over roasting is generally done to give an impression of flavour to inferior, and therefore cheaper beans). I will never visit again.

We all know about the sausage rolls and other MRI goods. Lovely. I wonder though why they don't put a flooring down that will not be slippery when wet, other than just putting a sign out. The risk is not reduced by a sign. Change the floor !!!

Got a breakfast deal of coffee and egg and bacon roll. Very disappointed. It was cold and as for the egg. Well on all my years have never seen an egg look like this. What annoyed me is the assistant seem looked at ut and thought it was acceptable to put it in my roll. Clearly dosent care about customer

Gregg's main shop is in Stevenage Town Centre although they have a couple of outlets in other places around the town. The store in the town centre is in the Town Square by the clock tower and really easy to find. They sell a variety of savoury pastries including sausage rolls in traditional or vegan style. They also have savoury slices. There are doughnuts available along with other cakes. The staff are really friendly.

Only pop in to get vegan sausage rolls to take away. Never had cause for complaint, staff always have been very polite.
