My friends and I booked a pre theatre meal here not really knowing what to expect and we can honestly say this is our new place to eat. We all had fish and chips which was absolutely delicious as well as piping hot. Desserts were varied but we all were amazed by the large portion sizes, including the ice cream. Toby ,our server was an absolute credit to the restaurant ,with his attentive service, helpfulness and friendly personality. We asked if Sangria was available and although it wasn't on the drinks list 2 jug fulls appeared at our table as they kindly made it up for us and was actually the best we've ever tasted.

We had pie and mash with liquor. They were the worst pies I have ever had. Tasteless mince and pastry that was hard and tasted like flour and water. Also single mash is 4 scoops, double mash is 7.

As an ex-Londoner was was once a regular in Manzes, I was drawn in by the Manzies Pie and mash advertised in the window. Big mistake The pies appeared to be microwaved - scorching hot inside, crust absolutely ruined, tough and chewy Mash looked more like cement than anything else, handy hint, pie shop mash is just that, mashed potato and nothing else! Liquor was very watery, in fact looked just like water with a bit of chopped up parsley in it. Worst pie and mash I've ever had in my 50 years on this planet, and I love my pie n mash!

The food? Great. The pizza was cooked to great, halloumi great, milkshakes great. But let me tell you about the true headliner of the night: the fire alarm. Beeping. Every. 30. Seconds. At first I thought, “Oh, that’s annoying.” Then it became, “Is this part of the ambience of the restaurant” By the end of the meal, I was twitching like I owed it money. It wasn’t loud enough to evacuate, just loud enough to haunt your soul. Like a tiny little sheet screaming “BEEP” while you’re trying to enjoy the peace and copy right free songs. So yes, good food. But unless the fire alarm gets therapy or a new battery, I’m bringing noise-cancelling headphones next time.

Just sat down with my wife and kids and had food here I could not fault it the staff are very kind and the food was 5 star. Amazing little restaurant 👌🏻

£10 min charge and missed out the extras and baguettes overpriced won’t use again

Always end up going here when going to the cliffs , they have the monopoly here. Food is always great but service is ok when you are waiting for food. Was there yesterday and ordered coffee, before the coffees had even arrived the abrupt and loud waitress was putting the bill down on the table. I made it clear we were not paying until we had got and finished our coffee. She was also handing bills to customers who had entered after us. I know that want to get as much trade as possible but some customer service wouldn’t go a miss. Rush,rush, rush is how it feels.

Ordered on Just Eat. So very disappointed. Burnt pies and the mash was horrendous. The entire order was incorrect and just inedible.

Cheap ingredients, expensive price. At £15, this breakfast was pricey. It’s one of those places that serve up the cheap processed sausages. Even the condiments are the cheap and nasty packet version. Won’t be returning any time soon. Might do if they improve their ingredients.

Visited to catch up with an old friend after an absence of decades and was pleasantly surprised.Lovely clean well presented pub with friendly efficient staff ,good reasonably priced food and well kept beer.
