Served promptly, easy menu and food is divine, super flavourful and fresh tasting

Ordered food for delivery (Friday 4th October). Everything was tasty but lukewarm. An item worth £7 was also missing from our order, so we phoned them and asked for a refund. They acknowledged the missing food and promised to refund us the money. Still waiting for my refund! Edit: No refund has been sent, that's a lie. We do not live in Southend so how are we supposed to come in person? Terrible customer service

Service was very slow. Felt judge by the constand look.Salad dressing was like soup.Asked why didnt eat the rest of the food. Shouted after leaving the premises.

I had a takeaway. The food arrived nice and hot And the portions were huge! The Moussaka is the best I have ever eaten in the U.K.. give the chef a pay rise!! A huge pillowy brick of deliciousness, soft aubergine & potatoes, perfectly & delicately spiced mince and a charred, creamy bechamel with a perfect wobble. It looked absolutely beautiful and tasted even better. I was transported straight to my yiayias house. The Cypriot pitta pork kebab was also very tasty & again, generous portions, hot pitta bread stuffed full of salad & meat. Two minor comments. 1. I couldn’t really taste the ‘charcoal’ in the meat so I’m wondering if it’s a gas grill which would be a shame. 2. I prefer my pork to be in cubes rather than cut into pieces, it was almost shredded so closer to Gyros rather than as shish kebab. However, none of this is a dealbreaker for me, I devoured both dishes and enjoyed every mouthful. I’m so pleased to have found somewhere that does authentic food. You must try it.

Went to this restaurant after a recommendation from a taxi driver, as I was craving some Greek food. It didn’t disappoint. Lovely food which tasty and fresh. Also generous portions for great prices. I couldn’t finish my meal but got a box to take home. The staff were friendly. There’s seating outside which is popular. But if you a craving some gyros and more Greek style food, go visit. Also indoor restaurant is wheelchair accessible (except toilet).

Really excellent food (the feta in filo with honey and sesame was especially wonderful) and extremely friendly service.

Best greek restaurant we have ever been,at least in England,and top 5 even in Greece as well!!Staff were all great,very helpful and the food was amazing!!We were 4 people and we loved absolutely every single dish.We will come back for sure.I would really recommend the gyros,both chicken and pork were delicious!The greek mousakas was the best one I had even in Greece I didn't had one that good!Really good restaurant,family owned,a real gem,so lucky we found it!

Excellent greek food, had the Souvlaki 3 Chicken Skewers with chips, salad and Tzatziki which was delicious and reasonably priced. There's plenty of seating inside and a few other outdoor for the summer. Location is great, really close to the seaside.

My wife and I decided to have lunch here whilst walking past so glad we did food and drinks and staff were great will be going back soon that’s for sure

I’ve been a few times now, this time with a group of friends who have all agreed that this is one of the best Greek restaurants we’ve been too outside of Greece! The staff are attentive, helpful and very nice to deal with The food is seasoned very well, cooked perfectly presented very well and all round a joy to have! We’ll be back very soon!

Just wow!! Didn't go out with intention to eat here but glad we did. The food is authentic greek. I had chicken souvlaki, my wife chicken gyros plate. It was absolutely amazing, just like what we've eaten in traditional grill rooms on several greek islands. I wish I lived nearer because I would be a frequent patron.

Went here for first time, the Gyro's are bang on and the service is always good. Pretty chilled place to eat, Would recommend trying them out tasty food and not overly priced.

Ate at Just Greek for the first time. Lovely small family run restaurant. Really tasty fresh food and large portions. Our waitress was quick and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We even got a takeaway box as could not eat all the food. They do delivery and collection too. Very clean restaurant. Will definitely go again or order from. Well done 👏.

8 of us went for my friends birthday last night and it was amazing, food was plentiful, reasonably priced and delicious!!!!!! We all had an amazing night and eveyone said they would make many return visits!! Thank you to all the great staff there keep being awesome!!!

Came back after our first visit 4 weeks back as the food was excellent so I booked a table for two on valentines night, but unfortunately this time the meat was way over done i could not eat the pork as rock hard burt and the chips were soggy and what we had last time hwe had the same again but the price had gone up by £6 .the lady knocked 8 pounds off our £58 bill due to the burt and over cooked meat but it made a nice Doggy bag for our dogs. I will not be going back again I will learn my lesson this time I called saying I had this chicken dish it was between a uper and lower round pita bread with with real chiken breast salad and melted cheese oh yes he goes it's called so and so. I gets there and had to wait even though I called some 15min before hand to say i would be 15mins So I paid £13 while I waited and what i got was a load of mushy cold chips on top of the 1 bit of pita bread and not the 2 I had before the meat was dona chiken meat thays cut of the skewers and a pita bread that was cut into triangles with the cold soggy chips put on top it was Stone cold they wouldn't give my my money back nor would they change it 100% this time I won't be going back

Extremely tasty Greek food and very generous portions. The staff are really friendly and they were very accommodating considering we came in late and asked to eat in! Highly recommend the bouyiordi and tyrokefteri dip! The gyros pitas were also really good. Wish I had one of these near me!

Our yesterday's dinner was a pleasant surprise! Very tasty Greek souvlaki, skepasti and Kypriaki pitta. The hit was the bouyiourdi, which was amazing. You just made new clients guys! Congrats and keep the quality as is.

Dined in on the recommendation of a friend who was Greek Cypriot and said it was the best she’s had in our area. I ordered the gyros club and my partner had the the gyros pitta. I’d ordered the chicken club, but I fortunately was given pork (which came with tzatziki). It was still lovely but the tzatziki was white thick and creamy rather than fresh and light like the original dip we were used to from Greece. The portion was so large that I could only eat half, and we took the rest home. The restaurant was small but well decorated and very typically Greek themed. The Greek music was also lovely, and we would come back again.

I ate chicken souvlaki which I found quite dry. My wife and daughter ordered skepasti and gyros portion which were better. The quantity is good but they charged 10% service charge which I thought was unfair considering that the place feels more like a fast food joint than a proper restaurant and there was only one waitress running around for everything for no fault of hers. They should keep service charge optional.

I tried the halumi gyros, which was great value and really tasty. I dont think this is an ideal place to eat if you're vegetarian or vegan. It appears that all the food gets cooked on the same grill.

We have visited a place as we never been there before, it seems have nice smells of food and food looked delicious. But the main whole problem was the stuff that was extremely rude. I have made a quick choice by the till and my friend was still thinking what he wants and behind as there was people looking at menu, they decided there isn't anything interesting and they walked away,the guy from kitchen come to us and tell us to sit down if we need more time as we make his other customers away when they walked away themselves,so we decided leave too. avoid at all cost this rude place full of greedy owners.

Just Greek when it first opened was the best gyros we've eaten in a long while fresh salad well cooked chips sliced chicken or pork wrapped in a bread and served with lashings of special sauce ... it was that good I think we had it three times in a week however recently we ordered the same but were disappointed aa little or no salad as well as little sauce to a pont I couldn't even taste it ... I was hoping it was a fluke however giving them a last try I can say it tastes completely different i didht have any salad got onions the sauce has been changed and chips needed extra cooking time it's not the same which is a real shame that it's lost its spark!!

Went there for a coffee this morning. I sat outside because I wanted to vape. There was an empty coffee cup and water bottle on the table, no problem . After waiting nearly 15 minutes for my coffee the guy said could not sit there because it was someone else's table. The 2 men who wanted the table said they had gone to buy cigarettes. Well 15 minutes is a long time when there is a coop next door and a Tesco opposite. The bald guy in the restaurant who i think is the boss was rude. Told me I shouldn't have sat there and I could sit inside, but I said I sat outside to vape. I sat there for nearly 15minutes before they told me to move, why not tell me when I first sat there. I was the only non Greek there. All the Greek customers just sat wherever they wanted. Just to add I waited 10 minutes to get served, fair enough ,the young guy was already serving someone so it means that table had no one sitting there for around 25 minutes .

It was a banger. Just like a Greek snack bar in Greece in fact. The chicken souvlaki was just excellent, perfectly cooked. Everything was just very good. Not a fancy place but very good quality.

Just picked up from here and food is excellent, staff very friendly. Amazed how nice the food was considering I had it takeaway and drove it home before eating. Great price too

We were a party of 3 friends booked for 1915 on a Friday night. The person who picked asked extensively about GF choices and was assured by the manager there were plenty of different dishes and she would advise on the night… this did not happen on the night. On arriving we sat down on a table laid for 5 as the table for 3 was so small the place mat menus overlapped but only after remonstrating were we allowed to sit there Food first Only the kebabs suitable for GF and not the chips and the waitress knew nothing about GF and rice not available although served in the stuffed veggie meal The Moussaka was 4 times the normal size but cold and even after reheated it was mainly inedible The chips side dish was over salted Every time we wanted service we had to go up to the counter No desserts although advised coming in future weeks Coffee was served with sugar in it for those that take sugar and not on the table as usual Now actual place well for 2 hours we were the only party dining and the only female diners … a party of men/ women came about 9 but other single diners were all young men who gobbled down their food and quickly left….. 10+ men outside smoking so entrance blocked to get in and we felt unsafe as an all female party Reasonable prices but we won’t be back and suggest you never come here

Just stopped by to try out and I’m delighted. Service was second to none, really clean restaurant and the food is just amazing. Will go back and I’d 100% recommend to anyone.

I’ve previously been to a lot of greek restaurants after going to greece for multiple business trips and I have to admit this is the worst in the southend area. The staff were rude and the moussaka was burnt with the gyros full of fatty meat - not good at all. the environment was not as nice as other greek restaurants provide culture as well as lovely food. Very over-priced, will not be going back.

Absolute joke. i went to order food and the service was terrible food is bang average if i wanted a nice shish i would go to any restaurant in southend. appalling including the price for drinks is a scam didn’t know i had to take a mortgage to pay. will not be going back

Working in Southend for a month and can’t stay away from this place! Absolutely top notch souvlaki and gyros, delicious chips (topped with proper Greek oregano 🙌) and pillowy pitta. Lovely friendly staff too. Highly recommended!

Hate to give poor reviews but this take away was very very average. Chicken kebabs, little cubes of chicken, hard and dry as hell, soggy chips and uninspiring flat bread and salad. Plus the unexpected use of herbs scattered all over the place - which I really don’t like. Take it or leave it? Well I’d leave it and probably won’t return. You need to up the anti guys or your business won’t survive the year…
