The Broadway Grill, once a great Kebab shop. Now run by Albanians. Methinks their butcher is taking them for a ride, as the 'Lamb' on the skewers in the display, appears to be a mixture of Hogget & mutton, smeared with fat to disguise it's colour. Doner kebab from the gyro skewer is best avoided as the staff cannot cut it with an electric knife ! Salad however is fresh, dressed, and fragrant with mild onions.

Please taste the food you serve. Awful, kebab meat it bouncy. Where the hell do you buy your supplies from??? The meat Is full of tendons. For Leigh on Sea, your charging too much for poor food quality.

Great service, really friendly and helpful on the phone. Ordered a chicken shish, and I was very happy. The chicken was cooked well and not dry at all. The green chilli sauce is very nice too and the salad box is packed. They have a very good menu with lots of options, but for anyone who is trying to reach their protein target, then the shish does not disappoint.

Have been getting my kebab fix from. Broadway Grill for 20 years. Never had a bad one, always 10/10. Delivery is fast and service is excellent.

Got a kebab at the weekend. The staff were not particularly friendly, and the food made me sick the next day.

Phoned in an order for two meat and chips in pittas with lettuce and onion and a pot dip of chilli and burger sauce . When we arrived to pick up the goods I then said can I have 2 more pot dips of burger sauce . A cheap order... 😆... £30.00! I questioned the order ...They wrapped it up quick and said sorry we are a business yea. Got home , opened the anticipated box of turdish delights and then found they didn't even pack the £2 lettuce and onion 'extras' ££. Broadway Roadkill, avoid. 🤮😫

Came here with my husband for a kebab and chips after a few drinks on the Broadway. It took 30 minutes to receive our doner meat and chips. We were very unhappy with the slow service - I have never waited so long for a simple donor meat Large doner meat and chips £10.50 and that’s the ratio of meat to chips Won’t be coming back Terrible service

Generally really nice but last time I ordered, it wasn’t the same and the mayo they sell tastes like it’s mixed with water and the garlic sauce is tasteless too. I was quite shocked.

A kebab shop and they sell kebab......the doner and meats are okish. The chicken is great. Chips can be nice too. I think they are a bit pricy for a kebab and don't expect a few chips bunged in with your kebab and pitta cuz you won't get any...unlike most other places I've been to. Stingy on the sauces too.

I like their kebabs. The service is friendly. However if you order takeaway over the phone or via Deliveroo they cannot get requests right. I’ve asked a few times for no lettuce on the salad which wouldn’t be a problem in person but if it’s over the phone it always arrives with lettuce.

Food is always lovely from Broadway grill. We have a delivery once every few weeks and it’s always been 100%.

Just had takeaway - I’m not a great meat eater but chicken sheesh wrap is amazing - would definitely order this again - have also had the vegetarian kebab before- which again is good

Broadway Grill many moons ago was one of the best doner places in Southend, not sure what's happened it's more your run of the mill sort of doner now. Staff are pleasant but product isn't the same anymore.

Alwyas a good experience. Only thing to complain about is they don't take card payments.

Great Kebabs. The chicken is my favorite here with some halloumi. Yum! I always get salad and the garlic sauce. Open late and is the perfect end to a crazy night.

Very rude and arrogant. I began by ordering the most expensive item on the menu with the intention of spending about £40 in total and simply asked to swap the pitta for a bit of salad and was told no. This after previously having had a pretty mediocre takeaway once before but had decided to give them a second chance. I wouldn't step foot in there again even if you paid me.

Busy Turkish Grill with pizza and other food available. Staff friendly and food great. Quite often it’s busy, so be prepared to wait a little longer than told, but it’s worth it in the end. Our recommendation is the Large Chicken Kebab with extra Halloumi. Make sure you eat the Halloumi first or it loses its gooeyness (sp.?). Have been a regular here for the past 18 months and still look forward to it. Would recommend.

Really nice kebabs but seemed a little expensive at 20.00 for a small and large lamb shish with 1x chips and 2 drinks. Apart from that, great!!

Tonight’s adventure ended up in the Mariners pub opposite this establishment, so I thought I’d give this place one more try. Ordered and it was taking a lot longer than I hoped. There was a man that ordered almost the exact same but after me and got served before me. Only two of us waiting for food, then just me. Still no sign of my food 10 mins after the other man was served, so I left. I’ll take the £4.70 hit as a lesson. Once again. I’ve done this before. Will I ever learn?

First kebab i tried coming from London and it was sooo Rubbery could not eat it at all. Plus 70p for some sauce in a tub with rubbery kebab lol NEVER AGAIN if you eat here you dont know good food.

Me and my family stopped here last night for a late night snack, I never leave reviews normally, but I had to leave one for this place. I have never tasted meat and kebabs like this in my life, and I have eaten lots of kebabs. The taste and quality is on another level, it was truly amazing. Thank you for the wonderful service, and beautiful food. I will never forget this place. And will definitely be back.

We just picked up scampi and chips and I couldn’t eat the so called scampi as I wasn’t sure what I was eating! It certainly wasn’t scampi. It had the texture of bread and certainly no fish smell or taste. Terrible. They will have them back in the morning, so we’ll see what they say.

Bit more expensive than others, but well worth it!! Quick delivery, piping hot and the chicken was heaven, as was the chilli sauce. The men had doners, equally as delicious. Salad was great too. Highly recommended

Very good food & decent portions.. The staff are lovely & friendly too... I had a chicken shish & couldn't finish it as so much meat the salad was lovely & fresh too.

I ordered a 'cheesy' garlic pizza bread and a 1/4 lb burger with cheese. The order took over an hour to arrive and when it did all foods inside the order were cold, with the cheese upon the pizza, burnt to the point it was brown. The burger consisted of mostly gristle to the point that every bite was on the verge of cracking my teeth. I am vegan and this was my bi-monthly cheat meal to keep morale high and I am sorry to say that this poor animal definitely died in vain. Broadway grill has descended into what only can be described as an overpriced-food vendor that is the equivalent to a dirty night out in Skegness with a Leigh-on-Sea postcode slapped on it. I fear I will require a lifetime supply of Actimel, the delicious pro-biotic yoghurt by Danone, to give me a fighting chance of recovering from the damage done to my small intestine.

Terrible food cold chips , spicy kofte kebab , i got the double burger with double cheese and got no cheese we even called to ask for some pots of sauce didnt get .. called and spoke to the owner who said they was to busy.. joke wont use again had to order a chinese as none of us wanted the food!

I guess it depends how long the queue is, but service can vary a lot depending how busy the shop is, I waited a lot longer than a friend of one who ordered a similar meal. So I decided to cut n run. Yes I’d paid for meal but it was taking so long it didn’t matter.

We frequently order from Broadway Grill and are never disappointed. Really good sized portions and ever so tasty. Thoroughly recommend the chicken kebab with halumi and extra vegetables. Only downside is the salad really isn’t great and prices have gone up recently.

Ordered two vegetarian kebabs waited about 25 mins , reminded them and then finally got it. When got home found no salad and was basically just halloumi, pita and a couple of mushrooms so basically rubbish. Better places to go locally ...

A very long wait. Cheesy chips had grated mozzarella which hadn’t been melted, chilli sauce tasted like had pesto in. The chicken was tender but large chunks, unfortunately wouldn’t return

Awful food. Avoid like the plague. Massively overpriced too. Chips were cold. But back to the burger.. Seriously, i could source better quality veggie burgers from Iceland, and that's really saying something.

Our weekly treat. Lovely chicken kebab with all the trimmings. Just perfect after a long week at work. Crispy fluffy chips, tasty shredded salad, and warm chargrilled pitta filled with wonderful chicken breast. We may have a bit of a wait on a friday night but nothing to long and if its a delivery, by today's standard of a 30 min wait but arrived in 20 mins, cant grumble at all. Been eating here for over 20 years. always extremely polite and chatty staff. Would not go anywhere else for kebabs.

Ordered chicken kebab and fresh chicken in a bun, took nearly an hr to arrive and ordered before 1909 on a Friday, chicken kebab was over cooked, pita bread stale and no salad or chilli sauce, only good thing I can say is it was all warm. Won’t be using again..
