The best restaurants in Milton Southend-on-Sea East of England

Pre David Essex night, very polite, 4 if us were all happy with our Fish and Chips, although there was no Rock, my friend had the deep fried prawns, yes a little slow, but it was worth it

If you want better than kfc, the new Wingstops are a better alternative! New to the U.K. but loads popping up everywhere / it’s great to see more US franchise brands come to the U.K. A bit pricey for chicken but good choices of flavours, I’m in!!

**UPDATE** After reading your reply I can honestly say it's frustrating for both parties. As a customer my delivery time changed 3-4 times. Totally unacceptable. I have now uninstalled all delivery apps and will only do collections in the future. I have since been back to yourselves and the food was again fantastic. Good luck for the future. This has reopened with a new name Taishon. The food as before is fantastic but the delivery service is appalling. An hour and a half is taking the p!55.

Quite possibly the worst restaurant i have been to ever...how a new restaurant can be so awful is unbelievable. The best food in this area is the arches cafes,which shows the general standard around here.

I have tried south Indian food from various part of england but Keralam is one of my favourite restaurant since they providing Authentic and real Malabar style biryani. The must try item is Squid (starter).

The chicken was raw and would’ve made my children sick if I didn’t notice the staff were rude and said the chicken was fine.

Ordered and about 6 / 7 people were served their food before us. Was told off for leaning on their counter. Was told off for using their tables outside. Was told “ make sure you clean up after” I asked for pepper, was rudely told it works. I’d didn’t , then he proceeded to get frustrated and tell me to open my hand and pours it on my hand. I’m a grown man with children , not a teenager so I don’t appreciate hostile nor disrespectful customer service. To make this experience even worse, the food. Food was awful. Chips were some of the worst I’ve ever had , sausage was not hot, was dry / overcooked and not fresh. Scampi large portion had 5 pieces. I wouldn’t have done this review if I had had better customer service. Your only saving grace was the young lady on the desk was nice and friendly. She’s too good to be working here.

I got the a bbq pizza and the meat pizza taste Bland and Barely no bbq sauce on the pizza and when it was delivered the pizza was all over the

After finishing work at 4am finding places to eat are slim to none. However The Crown was open so I thought I would give it a go. Chicken burgers, jalapeño poppers and chips. All freshly made and hot by the time I collected. I was also given extra chips which was a nice touch. With the standard of food and the opening hours I will be a frequent customer!

Friendly welcome, Sunday lunch time, freshly cooked cod, lovely and white, nice thin batter, with mushy peas! Portion size was perfect!
