Chicken Star in Southend-on-Sea

The chicken was raw and would’ve made my children sick if I didn’t notice the staff were rude and said the chicken was fine.

Absolutely disgusting was missing a whole meal and drink Also the chicken had a big black hair hanging out of it Guess where our dinner went to the seagulls

i come here after work to get meal but ever since the old workers left the new workers have been very uncooperative and rude to me it makes me not want to come here anymore and go to a new place they purposely make the food cold and not full the box up to the top the staff were very rude to some innocent school girls who where very polite also made us pay 1.50 for a tiny pot of sauce so disappointing

This review used to be a 4 Star one. Unfortunately This place used to be good about 6 months ago when staff actually attended you appropriately. The last couple times I’ve gone in and the blokes talking to someone on the phone whilst trying to serve me. Not paying attention to anything I’m asking of him. Bring back the original staff. I’ve been a regular here for over 10 years, unfortunately not anymore. Customer service training is needed.

Didn’t even order because the staff are so rude! I walked out

NOT RECOMMENDED! First, been overcharged for what I've ordered, then it came up to £14.50 so gave him £20 but he decided to give me only £5 change and turned away keeping the rest, then finally I am getting much different order, wrong items and no chips at all. no thank you

The chicken was very dry the chips were not cooked properly the people who served me were very ignorant and it made me sick wouldn't recommend

Bad burger When you eat burger in here street you are going to be sick same with me

Literally terrible in every way. Prices are somewhat cheap but the chips taste like cardboard. The costumer service it also terrible the guy told shouted at me beacuse i didmt hear him. If you value your taste buds please dont go here

The Mrs went down here a while ago as the place we order from normally is closed and we fancied some chicken. Do NOT order from this place it's poor standards even for a place like this it's not like we was expecting any gourmet food and we have both been very ill from food poisoning!!! Bossmans chill, chicken is a bit of a gamble though. You can eather get some skinny, bony wings, or just get done nicely by some fat, obese wings 🍗👌
