Finally got there after passing many times saying well try it. Real nice place and staff. Food was amazing. I had crab 🦀 boil, and I got messy with it 😆. Not sure if there's a non messy way to eat it 🤔 but it was very nice Cheers 🍻

First of all I have to thank our waiter he was fantastic I ordered the crab boil which was amazing but your going to get a little messy eating it he was at the table multiple times bringing me extra serviettes constantly checking without asking he just new to leave them on the table brilliant that for me is what service is all about he was spot on. The food was incredible beautiful crab and lobster ravioli I had to start followed by the crab broil which was spiced spot on just right beautiful and full of shell fish sausage and new potatoes all washed down with a nice chilled glass of wine The dessert was delicious and finished all of with a lovely coffee absolutely fantastic can't wait to get back I just hope it is as was this time.

Popped in this afternoon 25/1/25 for a glass of wine and food. Left very happy! Food was stunning and the wine delicious. Service was friendly and quick. We Will definitely be back soon.

Lovely lunch on a cold sunny day. Lobster, and Beer battered fish and chips. Max was a great server.

The starters were amazing ordered the lobster seafood boil and it was disgusting. No potatoes no sweet corn no squid.....no flavour! Awful and was so looking forward to it aswell. Staff couldn't be anymore apologetic.....nice staff less than satisfactory food!

Very disappointing! Booked last Saturday, prior to seeing a show at Cliffs. After waiting a while for our food we questioned the delay as we needed to get to the theatre in time, but kept being told "It will be 10mins" after waiting 90 mins we paid for our drinks and left. The restaurant was quarter full when we arrived and we were not informed prior to ordering there would be a substantial wait, otherwise we would have left straight away and eaten elsewhere, as we had our elderly mother who needed to eat. Will not be recommending or returning.

Gorgeous food, building and location.

After an inconsistent start, the food at Oyster Creek has got better and better over the years - their current chefs really know their flavours. It’s now one of our favourite places for lunch or dinner, but be warned that it is not a cheap meal. On a warm, sunny day, there’s no better place to eat than their outside area, and the cocktails are amazing!

It's a little to price, but it’s worthy.

My husband & I went to the Oyster Creek Kitchen for dinner last night. It’s always caught our eye as it’s in such a nice location but have always been put off by bad reviews before now. However, they have obviously done a lot of work to turn it around and everything was perfect! The service was impeccable and very attentive, the decor and vibe of the restaurant is lovely and feels very beach club-esque. The food was amazing!!! We had the oysters, calamari and king prawns to start with fish & chips for the main. It was incredible & probably the best fish and chips I’ve had in years - so light, it just melted in the mouth! The starters were divine too. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it all our family & friends too.

We had a very enjoyable bank holiday lunch in the sun earlier today. The food was lovely, and the staff were courteous, polite and attentive. The atmosphere was great and definitely a place we will come back to again. Thank you.

Avoid prawns served raw, unopened muscles, crab so small it wasn’t worth eating, wrong drinks, wrong food, no apology and very overpriced I wouldn’t recommend to anybody

Staff was friendly , atmosphere was nice but unfortunately the food was nor worth the price at all. We ordered lobster and ribs which was not eat able at all. As the lobster looks like they just defrost it ..was so mashy and no way to find a piece of meat out of it. The ribs was absolutely old cooked might be from the day before..it was so hard to chew it. Vegetables was so dull not tast. As my son wasn't mentally ok..I ignored all otherwise I would refuse all the main.

£15 for this small portion of octopus. It was really nice but for that price, they could put a bit more.

Wonderful restaurant. Hidden gem in Westcliff. Great atmosphere , holiday vibe with the music playing in the background. Food is delicious, beautifully presented. Great choice of dishes. Difficult to decide what to have. Cocktails fabulous , wine list very good. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Very attentive. Special mention to Callan. Brilliant service. Lovely mostly seafood restaurant. I had the penang prawns to start, followed by crab linguine with a side of seasonal vegetables and the special for dessert (key lime tart with coconut ice cream). All accompanied by a large glass of Kokako Sauvignon Blanc. Service was attentive without being pushy or in your face. It was a hot day so I dined outside just as the sun had set, perfect. My sole criticism is that the waitress was unable to tell me what a Penang sauce was, but I took a pint anyway and was not disappointed.

Received a really warm welcome by a kind man called James upon arrival. He was so helpful, friendly and very accomodating (also really gentleman like). Oh and the Oysters were delicious too... Thankyou! X

Seafood was really fresh and delicious, we had the oysters, crab Boil, Lobster boil, 10oz ribeye with whole Lobster, Bloody Mary Lobster, lemon cheesecake and Affogato for desserts! All well presented and served hot on the mains. Well defo come again as the price is not over priced as you normally find at seaside restaurants.

This is a lovely seafood restaurant by the sea front. The food range is extensive: pasta, seafood, seafood boils, grill, burgers and more. The wine range is excellent and good price range. Came here for my anniversary and was greeted very warmly even though I arrived 30mins before closing. Ordered my food and a full bottle of wine and the waiters kept their cool and kind manners I apologized for taking so long on finishing my food however, they were still very pleasant and even gave us a free dessert to celebrate my anniversary. Would definitely come back here. Food was amazing and the experience was made even better by that simple gesture.

Went there for dinner . Have been back since pre COVID. Menu has changed for the better!! More Seafood Centric and interesting! Had the Octopus for starter which was delicious. My wife has the special of the day , Sea Bream which was very tasty. I had the full rack of ribs which I found very good. It was too large andI couldn't finish...had to doggy bag it home. Matt was a great waiter, thank you. Good ambience. Will come again

My partner & I went for my birthday, could not fault a thing! Food incredible, cocktails amazing, service outstanding. We were looked after my Max, we asked him for food recommendations, he was spot on. Didn’t have my fav cocktail on the menu, however they still made it for me. Outstanding thank you

Servers were all very nice and helpful. Food was of average quality and presentation. The mussels as a main course were pretty good but lobster and squid were all overcooked as was the majority of the seafood on the large sharing platters. Came across as being prepared earlier and just reheated (or kept warmed) for service. Wouldn't go again as there are much better options in the area

Is second time we come to this place Last time we eat lobster and it was awesome. This time we come again to have lobster but unfortunately they didn’t have it and we try something new . My girl have a vegan burger and I have ribs. Unfortunately they don’t know how to cook ribs , I eat it because I was hungry but it wasn’t good at all. Will not recommend:(

Gorgeous and comfortable setting, brilliant service. You get a lot of food, I couldn’t finish it all! Food was decent, although quite pricey. You might be paying more for the vibes but the vibes are good.

Lovely valentine meal . Service was fabulous. Had a crab Boil and was very tasty very fiddly though.

Meal was adequate and the venue position very good. Little things let it down. Not using hot plates means meals become cold and unpleasant very quickly. The staff were lovely and did a good job.

Magnificent seafood boil! We both had it and they were superb! Perfect for a winters day Then the desserts!!! Warm chocolate fudge cake so voluptuous and the ICECREAMS - home made silky smooth. Come don’t miss this amazingly great place

Came to this treasure of a place with my fiance October last year without a booking just in time for there last seating on a Saturday evening. The welcome received was really warm and refreshing, made us feel more than welcomed. Fell in love with the people, food and place instantly. We took my mum and her partner here tonight and though they were a little apprehensive to begin with they soon relaxed due to the warm atmosphere and tucked in to the absolutely delicious food. Mum and her partner said "All round a five star experience, top of the top food and service and will definitely be coming back". No doubt they will do a review themselves I've had the Seafood Boil both times and they were different each time but both yummy. Between the four of us we had 3 cocktails🍹🍸, 2 beers, 2 double brandy's, 2 coffees ☕️, 5 starters, 4 mains, 3 desserts and a bottle of water for under £340 and that includes service charge. Thank you Max our host for the evening your lovely and fun. All in all the experience is worth every penny ❤️ ♥️ ✨️

We very much enjoyed our unlimited shrimp lunch. The service was fantastic, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The portion size was great, although we felt the selection of dishes could have benefited from a greater variation of flavours. Nevertheless we felt it was great value for money and we'll definitely be coming back again.

What a lovely design of restaurant making use of the old building - every table has a sea view. Our food was good, I really loved the freshness of the crab tacos, the oysters were delicious and the grilled fish dishes looked amazing and our party enjoyed them! The seafood boil however had been boiled too much - the veggies were mushy and it wasn't served with bread, then we were served some very hard garlic bread patties which isn't the type to soak up the butter sauce. The tiramisu cheesecake looked and tasted awesome however the black Forrest sundae was a bit of a let down with 2 cherries and a couple of tiny bits of dry brownie pieces - we expected more. I would definitely recommend to dine here and I will definitely return but would choose a grilled fish dish and a cheesecake next time.

Brilliant new year eve meal with my husband and son. We will definitely be back again soon! The food was great, we ordered the lobster and steak with a side of oysters and champagne. Definitely recommend. The staff made the whole experience even better, everybody was so friendly, welcoming and professional. Will be back again soon!

We had an incredible experience for our mums 60th birthday meal. Shaun was very friendly and took every question we had in his stride. He made our mum feel very special. The mussels and salmon were absolutely beautiful. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone!

We had a short rest on boxing day. The service was utmost friendly. Cheeseboard, lobster soup and cheesecake have been tasty beside the remarkable presentation. Next time we will stay longer.

Brilliant meal delicious food, a lovely time. It was our anniversary and they surprised us with a sparkler ice cream with dessert. The service from Max was amazing. This was our second time and we will definitely be back!

We had an excellent meal celebrating my birthday. The service from Mel was first class - she was friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was outstanding. We sat in the garden, fortunate to enjoy an unseasonably warm October evening, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We'll definitely go back next time we're in the area.

We had a lovely meal and drinks today. Beautifully decorated inside and out. Food was tasty and reasonably priced. Cocktails were really lovely too. Staff were friendly! Would definitely recommend and will be back :)

Very fresh oysters. food was delicious and the portions were very large.

We went on a Thursday evening as a table of four. The garden area, lighting, etc. at the front facing the seafront is lovely. We ate in the restaurant, which has also been decorated well. The service was fabulous. The staff were attentive but did not overly intrude. The menu was well-thought out, and the advice we received from the Waitress was excellent. There is a wide variety of international seafood dishes to choose from, and for meat-eaters and vegetarians there are good options. The restaurant was very quiet and we got the impression it was more of a lunchtime or early evening venue at this time of year (late September). This, therefore, meant there was a lack of atmosphere, but it did not impact on our experience.

Great location 👌 we stopped for drinks which were reasonable great people watching spot. I didn't eat menu looked a little pricy but I am sure it is worth it 😉

Always the “go to” place after a day on the beach. The service is first rate and polite . Good vibe. Only had shared plates of starters but the mains I have seen other diners eat looks great too! Will be visiting again soon .

The location was really pretty. We sat outside as it was a nice day. The atmosphere was rally good with chilled house music playing in the background. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The starters were good . I had oysters, which were very fresh and my partner had the calamari which was seasoned well and very tasty Unfortunately the mains didn't quite meet our expectation. I had the lobster boil, the lobster and squid was tough and lacked flavour. My partner had the rib eye which he requested medium rare. This came out extremely rare. Overall experience was good but slightly overpriced, in my opinion.

We took my 93 year old mother here for birthday lunch today. She was delighted,as were we. Excellent food with a wide range of tastes, lovely atmosphere and particularly friendly and welcoming staff. We'll be back!

The restaurant and outside eating and drinking area is really nice. The service was really good and pleasant. Had a lovely meal. My wife had "the best oysters ever" here and would love to come back. Reasonable prices and great service.

Went for dinner on Saturday 29th July. The online booking system is super easy. We arrived early and were able to be seated at our table. There are heaters in the outside section, ideal when it's a bit windy! The service was fantastic, the waitress checked in plenty of times to make sure our food was ok. Cocktails were really well mad. The food was delicious - would highly recommend!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hestets and blankets wrre provided when it got chilly so we could still enjoy our meal outside. The salmon and prawn tian was the highlight for me.

We are traveling in the UK, this is a lovely town with beautiful scenery by the sea, I saw this restaurant on Google, very good experience, the food is delicious, we ordered soft shell crab burger, bloody Mary cocktail, seafood It's fresh and the environment is beautiful. I recommend sitting at the Garden outside table. In addition, I would like to praise the staff for their excellent service . He is super attentive and take care of every table guest. When he saw me feeling cold, he offered to help open the hitting, which made me feel very warm. Will definitely come here again.

Nice atmosphere by the sea, Nice food and good prices

Pleasant venue with estuary view, reasonably tasty food and attentive service, but very pricey and if your not keen on fish, a bit limited on choice.

Fabulous bar opposite the beach, and a perfect place to neck sundowners and oysters, with a very chilled vibe. Great iced margaritas made on request.

Quite possibly the worst restaurant i have been to ever...how a new restaurant can be so awful is unbelievable. The best food in this area is the arches cafes.
