Brothers Peri Peri Hot & Sweet in Southend-on-Sea

40 mins late & was cold. Chicken burger was very small for £8 the rice in the peri rice & chicken had an Indian tase so didn’t go well with the peri sauce plus was soft & mushy. The only redeeming thing was the M&m milkshake. But won’t be using these again. First & last time customer.

Honestly love this place had delivery which was quick and great food now went and collected deserts instead. Oero sundae spot on and the white cookie dough is great. Great family business and the owner is such a lovely guy. Coming into eat on restaurant soon, even has a kids play area and pool table what a great little place round back of high street. People should support independent local businesses more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently dined here , and unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer care was not a priority. Firstly, we were left waiting for over 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence or offered to seat us, despite having a reservation. When we were finally shown to our table, it took another 15 minutes before a server came to take our drink orders. The restaurant was not particularly busy, so there was no excuse for the delay. The server seemed disinterested and inattentive, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Our food orders were mixed up, and one dish arrived cold. When we brought this to the server’s attention, we were met with indifference and no apology. It took another 20 minutes to get the correct dish, by which time the rest of our party had finished eating. Throughout the meal, we had to flag down staff multiple times for basic requests like refills and additional cutlery. The overall lack of attention and courtesy was astonishing. To top it off, when we received the bill, there were several errors, which took another frustrating amount of time to resolve. Overall, the poor service at overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant and efficient service.

Great food and a family friendly environment. The kids play area is a really nice addition. We will be back!

Got a chicken wrap delivered to me while I was staying at the travelodge. Was amazing. They really took care to make it the way I’d like by adding a little naga chili to their peri sauce. Was so yummy !!! Run by very lovely people with caring customer service

Some of the food was slightly bland, however, I cannot fault the service and the friendliness in the restaurant. I truly felt as though I was at home and could relax and enjoy my meal. The pizza was delicious and tasted very fresh, and the wings were flavourful. I would definitely come back for the pizza and wings. My toddler also enjoyed kid friendly foods and some waffle and ice cream as dessert. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience.

We had a large group of mums & kids who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The food was delicious & plentiful, the service was excellent & the atmosphere was very friendly & relaxed. The Kids Corner play area, was a big hit for my grandson & the other little ones. Overall, a wonderful experience, looking forward to my next visit.

Hands down the best halal fast food place in southend. Finding quality halal food within southend is a big struggle and I tried this restaurant without much expectations. Well I was blown away to say the least. The burgers were soooo succelent juicy and most importantly FRESH!!!! And my favourite the pizza I have never in my life had such good quality pizza. It was so so good. If you are considering this place pleaseee go and definitely try the asian pizza its perfectly crispy cheesy and flaky. Soooo good. And the staff are extremely friendly and even gave us a free kinder milkshake which was super thick and chocolatey. Overall this restaurant is a must go especially for the Muslims in southend who find it very difficult to find up to notch fast food. Guys please please go it is honestly the best. My review is not fake and the reason why it is so long is because I've tried countless halal fast food restaurants and never found good quality food. This is worth a visit for sure

I believe I’ve ordered from here before and was amazing, however last night my order contained undercooked ( RAW) batter when taking a bite of my Oreo crunch waffle. Also very very chewy. I have reported on Uber eats but was told to contact here and I do not know how.

Very good as always, but the Brocoli dish was smaller than usual, needs to be bigger as its a £5 dish.

I called and asked what kebab they have and they said fried kittens I asked three times if they said kittens and they assured me it was so I ordered some fried kitten and it tasted like chicken I’m not satisfied at all never ordering again🍆🍆🍆🍆

Foods always on time, never had an issue with time/ food only thing is sometimes waffle is lukewarm which is completely normal, microwave 10 seconds and it’s amazing, thank you! X

My son and I went for the dinner, we ordered beef hamburger and chicken. The shop was clean and the food was delicious!  The owner was very friendly. I will go again next time. I hope you are always happy :)

We ordered tonight for the first time and was blown away by the exceptional high quality of food, packaging and service. Hands down, the cleanest, leanest takeaway , tasty , fresh ingredients, not at all fatty, greasy or salty, all made fresh on site, to order, such high end. We had chicken, rice, salad and burgers tonight, all absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the whole chicken, 4 wings and strips, plus 2 sides meal, wow so tender, flavoursome and moreish. Our children had the kids burger meals, out of this world delicious meat, in a toasted brioche bun with cheese and salad, bith myself and my husband had to have a try, well we're going to try the burger menu on next visit as we was blown away , delicious!!! We'll be back soon for more delicious food, at a very competitive price, excellent customer service and delivery. As a very rare treat we ordered the chocolate nut crepes, ongosh out of this world, so light, fluffy, tasty, not at all greasy and soo satisfying, again we'll definitely be having them again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a takeaway without the unnecessary fatty, greasy, salty readily available rubbish out there. Such high end food and all round amazing experience, right from ordering, to packaging , to taste, satisfying, delivering, cost....

Brilliant service from Bothers! They gave me the item that was wrong in my last order (they had apologised profusely for the mistake) and I got extra chicken strips which were delicious. The salad was huge and lovely, better than the picture! The driver was friendly and the early delivery was welcomed as I was starving! Thanks, will definitely continue to order from you :)

A friend recommended this little place to me after work and I have to say it didn’t disappoint at all. The burger was sooo good chick cooked just right 5/5 chips were crispy and seasoned just right 4.5/5 and Oreo milkshake was to die for 5/5

I asked for coffee with milk no sugar and got tea with milk and sugar. I don’t drink tea so it was a waste of £2.28. Chicken was nice but I wasn’t keen on the dressing (had to be changed as the one I ordered was out of stock). Trying the cookie dough now so fingers crossed for that!

Here foods are tasty and halal. Whenever I want to grab peri peri chicken this place comes to my mind very first. Also I enjoyed their burgers and milkshakes. The owner serves here so no compromise in quality, also his behaviour is very nice. The only downside is, the place needs some restructuring. In one word value for money.

Ordered food on a Thursday night, turned up over half an hour late so I had fallen asleep by the time it got to me. My husband put it in the fridge so I could it for lunch the next day. Opened it and had the complete wrong order. Contacted just eat and they are refusing to give a refund as I didn’t take a photo of the food that went straight in the bin. What a waste of money. Have used this takeaway a few times but with the way just eat have dealt with this I will never go here again.

Ordered on Uber eats, order never turned up. No contact attempts by delivery driver and waited an hour and a half. Uber also didn’t help at all and only refunded 75% of the order considering we didn’t get anything is a joke.

Great customer service and great food. Whenever I need my waffle fix this is my go-to place. Waffles are made from scratch and combined with tasty and fresh ingredients. Yum!

First time for this source and it was very good.

Came in with my partner and two little ones for a meal on Friday evening. Parking is available nearby. Cleanliness is reasonable but the dining area could do with being renovated. Food was very nice, my partners chicken burger especially. I had the chicken strips which were marinaded in an excellent hot sauce. The children’s meals were your standard chicken nuggets and chips, but they were perfectly fine. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Ordered online but after waiting over 1 hour with no food I called them up at 11.45pm, they told me that their internet was down and processed my order swiftly, their HOT WINGS are really good and very tasty. Well worth the wait 👍🤩 not overly keen on the fries as the oil they use didn't taste to good but overall the food was tasty.
