Excellent, fast service, great food

Mini-celebration. Booked a beach hut in the garden on the day. Table service for three. Ordered veggie fingers with beans for the little one before ordering for ourselves. Veggie chilli and cheeseburger for the big’uns. Indulged with a few, drinks, sides and a dessert. Ticked all the boxes. Can’t fault it. You’d travel for it, but we’re lucky to have it on our doorstep. 🥰🔥

It was fine. I do think hot numbers just down the road is better in terms of food quality although often very busy. Jamaica blue feels more like a clubhouse. A useful amenity if you're there for the golf, but I wouldn't make the trip over the alternatives

£9 pounds for 3 cold takeaway sausage rolls at 4pm. Rip off. didn't display the price either hence ended up buying it as the guy had packed already. His friendly attitude doesn't cool the pain of such waste of money.

We went for Sunday roast for my wife's birthday based on good reviews and knowing the setting. Pretty much all of the food that came to the table was subpar. Dried out cabbage, soggy potatoes, chewy overcooked beef and pork, watery carrot/swede mash, wet battered fish. The chips with the fish were actually quite good and not all of the yorkshires were like shrapnel. Sunday roasts are a mainstay of British pubs...I don't understand how this one went so wrong! We were booked in for 12:30 so it's not like we should have been at the tail end of the lunch period getting the long-time heat lamped dregs.

Nice place very large little bit of a confusing layout my recommendation is use toilet facilities as you go in as the restaurant is a little walk from the toilets beautiful breakfast

We booked online for a Friday in the reasturant, it was very busy the reservation seemed to be nessary if you want a table here. Decor was nice and servers attentive and polite. The food was really nice, I would say portions were fine dining size if you are having a main only meal. We enjoyed the desserts, I would say they need more sauce or ice cream. We would visit again, want to try their Sunday roast.

I ordered for 6.15,delivered 5.40

The restaurant was advertised as open for hotel guests until 9pm but they decided it was going to close as it wasn't busy. We arrived at 7.40pm and saw a couple eating in the restaurant and waited for 10 minutes whilst different people were very negative and unhelpful and said it was going to close despite a large sign at reception saying 9pm. We went to bed without dinner due to the long drive we had. I often stay here but won't plan to eat here again. Very poor service.

The hotel bedrooms are looking a bit tired and certainly In need of a complete refurb... But it's handy to get to as it's right off the motorway and a quick bus ride into Cambridge city centre.....but will now never stop there ever again as they have sold their soul to become an immigration hotel.

This is a gem, the food is good and plenty of it too. The portion size is very generous, the staff are lovely and the atmosphere is very good too. A wonderful place to eat drink and be merry.
