£9 pounds for 3 cold takeaway sausage rolls at 4pm. Rip off. didn't display the price either hence ended up buying it as the guy had packed already. His friendly attitude doesn't cool the pain of such waste of money.

WE popped in for a late lunch and we were very impressed with the service. 2 freshly prepared salads in huge bowls with extremely generous portions, Nice surroundings and right in the centre of the village, thoroughly recommended

I went here for a coffee and sandwich at lunch time. Chicken salad roll when opened had the tiniest scrape of butter on it. The roll was not delicious, very cheap one. No offer to choose brown or white. Sloppy supermarket coleslaw, not home made. Extra charge to eat in. Not worth the £8.50 paid. Will not go there again

I have been here a number of times and always had great service and very good fresh food and drink. There is always something new to try and the staff are always knowledgeable about what they sell.

Coffee was passable but the sausage sandwich I had was vile. I think the sausage must’ve been cooked the week before and microwaved a dozen times. Hard and dry. Horrible. I won’t go back again and all because of serving up an unacceptable food item and charging me for it. Oh and the bread was awful too. If it hadn’t have been so busy I would have asked how they could dare serve up something like this.

Lovely little cafe with amazing staff I've visited Amanda's on numerous occasions for lunch and I've never been disappointed. Lovely food and the cakes are amazing. Amanda's also caters for outside events and I've used them on a monthly basis for a long time. I have never ever been let down. Great local business. Very highly recommended

Popped in for a bite to eat one Saturday morning and was shocked by the service received. After recently moving into the village and noticing the small sandwich bar my wife and I thought we would give it a try despite some of the locals advice. We walked in just before midday and began by ordering our drinks, while deciding what we would like to eat we were hurried along by the disgruntled owner because she was closing at 1. We promptly decided what we would like and once the food was brought out we felt obliged to hurry as her and the man that had prepared our food were rapidly tidying and shutting down around us. While the food was ok we would not return here because of the service we received. We both felt very let down as the village that we had moved from had a wonderful cafe and this was full of life and wonderful characters, we had wrongly assumed that Amanda's would be the same.

Thought was nice place to stop, have coffee and chat. Soon disillusioned, every time coffee made member of staff literally crashed gadget with grounds in it that was ear splitting. A builder came in for 6 coffees, deafened by the 6 unbelievable crashing and banging as old coffee disposed of. Surely there must be a better method than that? Tables were sticky, cramped. The banging eventually drove us out, drinks unfinished. Will definitely not be returning as we value our hearing. Perhaps the staff are completely oblivious of the atmosphere they create?

Had a tasty and fresh lunch and was so impressed with the food, staff and service that I booked them for outside catering for 125 people. They did a fantastic job so I have no hesitation in recommending them for a quick lunch at the cafe or a large buffet elsewhere. Thank you Amanda for such good service.

What can I say? I have been coming to Amanda's Sandwich Bar for about 6 years now regularly. Initially my wife and I would visit on a Saturday morning whilst our daughter was in a dance class. We needed to have some time together and enjoy a nice breakfast. Before long we found that we got to know the staff quite well and some of the numerous regulars that came in at the same time. This sandwich bar does a range of breakfasts, rolls and the range of cakes are stunning. We always enjoy coming here and it is the friendly atmosphere as well as the lovely food that keeps us visiting. I have seen some of the negative comments on Trip Advisor and I am really surprised. This place is lovely. Thanks Amanda!

I am working in fulbourn for a couple of weeks, popped in to grab something to eat, was in a bet of a rush, I ordered a takeaway salad with chicken and sweetcorn, asked if I could have the meal deal but was told not with the salads. The salad was £3.80 and I had a can of coke £1.00 so £4.80The meal deal would have been £4.20 with a bag of crisps.well I didn't really take notice of the salad when it was passed to me when I got back to work I was so cross and hungry the salad was so small it took me 5 mouthfuls and it was gone! really bad value for money and very negative service. I will shop at the co-op next week or go to the pub and have a plate full of salad for the same amount.

Dropped by for breakfast but was short on time so asked for (included coffee) as a take away. Somewhat taken aback to be informed that since coffee was part of the breakfast it could only be consumed on the premises.Really !! Requested second, take away, coffee (paid for separately) to be poured into my own insulated cup to keep it hot for longer but was informed they provided disposable cups for this purpose - needless to say, I poured it myself before leaving and left the disposable cup on the premises. I kept the tip to myself !!

As the title says if you want a cooked breakfast here don't bother. We'd rather travel further away. There was nothing good about it at all.The rolls and cakes are good though just really pricey. Staff always friendly.

Well I visited the coffee shop a month ago. I had coffee and sandwich which was absolutely dreadful and overpriced. Also the boss of the sandwich bar which was a lady and really was a moody. I absolutely remove that Amanda's sandwich bar.

We first visited about 10 years ago when our daughter moved from Scotland to this area. We went in and were immediately spotted by the host "Yes sir, what can I get you?" with a welcoming smile. I was unfamiliar with the local ales, and was invited to try a selection free of charge. "Are you eating" he enquired. "Then have a seat, I'll bring your drinks over and get your order". And so it has continued for about 10 years. A place to really enjoy. In 2 weeks this will end. I just hope that when we next return, the new owner can continue this service. In the meantime, thank you!

Always enjoy visiting here for something to eat and drink, usually breakfast items such as a bacon and egg roll, scrambled eggs on toast. Food quality is always very good, and I think the staff there are excellent. Polite, friendly and always very helpful. Visit about two or three times a month. We have bought plants, bags of peat or compost, and I like the collection of greeting cards for sale. Always good to spend the money accumulated on the Loyalty card.

Just wanted to thank Nikos, Hayleigh and the team at Lot 25 for looking after us so well at the Wake we have just held there at the café. The treated us with compassion and understanding from the first meeting to organise everything and kept us fully posted up to the day, where they looked after our group of over 100 family and friends so incredibly well. A superb venue, lovely staff and lovely food, thank you.

Sunday lunch. Loads of well cooked veg and tender meat. Only criticism was the vast amount of thick (bland) gravy poured over the entire meal. Would have preferred a gravy boat so could choose how much gravy to have. Unfortunately the gravy dominated all the other flavours - other wise would have been a delicious Sunday Roast. At £20 a head I would have expected delicious (non-generic) gravy that compliments the meal. Sticky toffee pudding was to die for ! Lots of warm sticky toffee sauce and a light and delicious sponge , and some lovely vanilla ice cream ! Staff were lovely , service quick and efficient. Lovely ambience. Minor tweak with the gravy recipe / and a gravy boat and would have been top marks !

I gave 5 stars to atmosphere as I did only visited place for the "pint" with my colleagues. We done it in a early evening, was a lot of sun... I wouldn't mind to have more of the big umbrellas for the table, actually. Member of staff were collecting empty glasses (thanks! ). We were sitting in the garden. However, there are couple of tables in front of the building and I'd personally prefer to occupy those tables ...there's more cozy.
