The best restaurants in Lakenham Norwich East of England

Went to watch my brothers band play here. Lovely old fashioned corner pub. Comfy with a decent range of beers. Dog friendly. Great Pizza menu.

I don't usually leave reviews but this place deserves one. Lovely staff, even the drivers are sweet. Place is very clean and the food is incredibly fresh and light and not greasy like other places. Delicious.

Windows haven't been cleaned for a while, needs a good clean cigarette buts all around the outside seating area's.

Great food, lovely staff and excellent value for money. There were 11 of us so we pre ordered our food. It all arrived promptly and everyone enjoyed it. The children's meal are really good value too.

Best fish in the area for taste, size and value. Their small place was bigger than my usual chip shop's medium, and £3 cheaper! So good you will have to wait, but they give you a buzzer so you can go sit in your car if it's a bit cold outside. Staff all very pleasant, and with everyone waiting is a nice atmosphere...strange for a chip shop lol.

As a couple we went twice in a week, the second time because we’re so pleased with the food and the service, but the second time was a disappointment. On the first visit our meals were the sea bass and the fish pie, which was a “special” and had nice chunks of salmon, prawns and white fish with a hot mash topping, obviously freshly cooked, both meals were excellent. Also the person serving us was very knowledgeable about the food and the drinks menu. The Mediterranean style lager was surprisingly tasty as he said. He also took some time to talk with us, which was very welcoming. However on our second visit the service was slower, there was no “specials” menu and the food we chose was disappointing. The chicken curry was pleasant but not outstanding, and there didn’t appear to be much variety of flavours in the sauce. The lasagne appeared very basic, okay but not outstanding. It almost felt like we’re in a different pub! The redeeming feature was the log fire near our table which added to a good atmosphere.

Went for a roast with my mum the gravy was like a chemical tasting so they took it back and bought back x2 lasagne which was like slop not cooked it was disgusting they also didn’t have what I order for starter will not be coming back the pigs in blankets well if you can call them that they looked like something off of the I’m a celebrity jungle will not be going back there waste of my money

Chips were delicious along with garlic bread. Didn’t have too long of a wait for delivery. Only drawbacks was the pizza was rather bland and made me unwell the following morning

Visiting Norwich and needed to stock up a bit, so this was the closest store to us. Did shopping and wanted to use the toilets before leaving, like you do. All toilets near the cafe were closed! Luckily there was a disabled toilet on the next floor down, but very surprised this was the situation, especially on a busy Saturday. The queues to the single disabled toilet were very long too.

Awful, deceitful service and would give 0 stars if it was an option. Had already paid delivery fee, then they phone asking for an additional £2.50. Apparently the Just Eat delivery charge is calculated by the first part of the postcode and our postcode is large, so they want to charge us more! Just charge an average for the whole postcode then. Doing it this way feels very underhand and relying on people just want their food and won't push back. Order cancelled and we ordered elsewhere.

Please avoid this place all the food was disgusting u can not even eat it how bad it was made me sick it was that bad looking we binned the lot . Should be shut down

Great price. Kids meals are just a £1. Good pizza deal options. Hot food is ok, for the price you can't complain; but there pizzas are delicious and freshly made if you order a whole one. Staff are very welcoming and friendly but there is always one lady who is always grumpy and trys to make us feel unwelcome everytime we go. She alway makes rude comments to us.

food is lovely but would be nice if employees after eating would wipe their mouths… was served by an employee with pizza sauce all over his mouth.. would be nice to have a little professionalism infront of customers! a put me off the food, i didn’t order anything even though greggs is my favourite food place. disappointed
