Mumbai Kitchen Indian Takeaway in Norwich

This was the first time we have ordered from this takeaway. Food was great and delivery was quick. Will use again.

there food missing and didn't even get full portions will not use again

Portion size was very small and the lamb very chewy

Food was late and cold, but if it was delivered on time, Id say it would've been a tasty meal

Marked as delivered when the estimated delivery time passed, but was another 20 minutes after that before it arrived

Very good flavours. On time just eat timing is just a minute out so no problem . Would recommend

Food is not delicious as expected, not spicy, too much oiled, chiken Bhuna is like chicken boiled and given in a gravy which is serving for all other curries. Dhaal is not tasty too, rating - 0.5

Sadly, as I normally love these guys, my chicken tikka massala was watery, bland, and lukewarm, not thick, creamy and flavoursome. Very disappointed

The food wasn't great! Korma was really watery considering it was almost £10!! Poppadoms were soft and tasted old. Chips were burnt and tasted of old grease.

Best vindaloo I've had in a long time! Lots of potato, thick gravy and very hot!

King Prawns were quite small - gave sauces for poppadums but no poppadums.

Lovely saag paneer one of best I’ve had! Creamy pathia a little more watery than I’d have liked but in all nice meal

Curry’s were tasty and good portion, but naans were undercooked and left a horrible taste. Delivery was 30 minutes early and we’re wernt quite ready for it. Very well packaged

Got a set meal for one £18.80,chicken curry,plain rice,onion bagee,Bombay potatoes,plain Nan bread,all cheap the food was disgusting no flavour at all,please avoid at all costs yuk yuk yuk

Small portions of meat 3 pieces of chicken

20 mins early. Starter was and tasted burned. Main was a lamb curry .. really struggling to find the meat

when I ordered it said 45 mins , bearing in mind it was a Tuesday evening & I had ordered 6.30/7pm & the food didn't arrive until 8.15ish.The food was lovely, & hot ..& my son recommended this restaurant to me, but it was very long in coming. & we were so hungry by then . if I were to use again , I think I would pre order for a set delivery time, as opposed to just ordering with an estimated time that was well over an hour sadly 😥

Fantastic food and delivered with care 10/10

Started using Mumbai Kitchen after the takeaway place we’d used for around 20 years let us down. Started out very well with great food and great service. Also a 20% discount for collection or delivery. That’s now been reduced to 10% and the food has dropped in quality significantly over a few visits. Portions seem to have been reduced and being busy is not really a valid excuse for the food being delivered nearly an hour after what is stated on the website. A real shame but will not be ordering from here again.

As someone proud of North Indian food, this was awful. The curries were watery, the Naan is doughy and rubbery, cheese naan had no cheese and the chicken are all the same, put in different curries (which as mentioned, are wrong and water). The Pasanda was literally sugar water with powdered nuts. Don't waste your money here.

Delivery was late by 45 mins, however made up for it with good popadoms, I wouldn’t order again from here. The member of staff on the phone said it was due to them being too busy, yes I get that but then went on to say there was too much traffic! which is very hard to believe as we are in the countryside and how on earth would he know that!!

the delivery man was so rude and arrogant. had no manners or respect on call. had some confusion about the location. I collected order within 1 minutes he called. when I asked him to be kind he said I will talk like this only do whatever you want to do. he seemed lost.

watery tomatoe sauce with chicken. ordered poppadoms and got 1 single one. onion bhaji were soggy and wet. sag aloo was boiled potatoe with wet vegetables. never ordering here again lol

Tasty food.good quality..Meat was tender and not rubbery like I’ve had before from other places. The tikka masala sauce was a little too sweet for my liking but was still tasty to eat. And it all got eaten.

Dahl was very watery tonight which spoilt it for me as always spot on in the past orders. Husband enjoyed his naga as usual

Absolutely delicious. Thought we’d try this restaurant after our usual place seemed to go downhill. So glad we did! The food was amazing, so fresh tasting and flavoursome. The best Indian dishes we have had in a long time - and we’ve tried a lot of local takeaways. Will definitely be ordering again. Thanks so much!

Ordered here twice, 1st time meet in kebabs so soft and delicious, this time meat a bit tough but still we enjoyed it and it was lovely, fresh and tasty

Food was good, but didn't include the mint or mango sauce that we had ordered and paid for which was disappointing.

The delivery driver did explain that our food was late because of a traffic accident in route. Despite our food being late it was still hot

Tried these guys out for the first time. Ordered my favourite (Onion Bhaji, Chicken Shashlik) and also tried the veg biriani. All of it was bland and pretty tasteless - ate some of it and threw the rest away. Even the mango chutney tasted cheap. Poppadom's were ok though. Disappointed.

The delivery driver was ride! I asked for no spice in the Bombay aloo which they normally do fine but they proceeded to make it spicy!

On holiday had a takeaway delivered it was excellent portion size. prompt delivery food , value for money as we travel a lot we have had indian meals in many places this was one of the best. Thumbs up for Mumbai kitchen

Gave the wrong address accidentally. Delivery driver was very forgiving and delivered to the correct address. Felt terrible but he was ok.

Generally very good curries, but was frankly dissapointed with the butter chicken. Tasted like a big vat of butter and coconut. Butter chicken aside good stuff

First time ordering. Curry’s we’re alright, the sides were pretty poor. I was disappointed because the portion sizes were small on the sides, but after eating them I was no longer disappointed!

Used to be great, but must be under new ownership. Food is now awful,and staff are as dull as the food.

Food arrived quickly but swimming in water. I had to use kitchen roll to soak it up. I called the takeaway and I was called a liar and laughed at down the phone. I demanded a mobile number so I could send them a video and photos, which i did. The photos were after I had tried to scoop water out with a spoon. The curry was very disappointing and the way I was treated as a customer was disgusting. This place used to be amazing, I can only assume they have been taken over. I will not be ordering from there again. To be literally laughed at down the phone is appalling.
