McDonald's in Norwich

Good food and service, but large fries should be large! May as well just order medium and save money and you get more chips in a medium meal. Reoccurring theme. Going to start checking at the drive through window and handing them back!

Slow as fcuk waited 30 minutes outside, cold chips and warm milkshake

Missing a burger so someone goes without. Can't redeliver so a credit offered if you spend that time claiming. Basic maths. An order is placed and you fulfill that order. Ironically I couldn't get a job there but I can add up. Very poor.

food came quickly but the burger was undercooked and the chips were soggy as if they’d be reheated.

Just stopped for coffee while waiting for lift. Real sloppy service staff busy chatting to each other not bothering about customers. Poor.

Great food love the mc rib and the sausage and egg mcmuffin sadly had to knock a point off because I got a single mcmuffin when I ordered a double

Had to wait nearly 30 minutes for food, despite numerous couriers coming and going with their orders. Clearly these are being prioritised over instore customers. Frustrating.

Done drive through had to wait and didn't get all my order.

Ordered 6 drinks all together, when it came saw we had one extra drink. We thought we’d been given an extra one accidentally, however, when our friend was a bit way through drinking, he realised that there was a piece of the coffee machine (yes a literal part of the coffee machine) in his drink. Tried calling them, however no one picks up the phone after calling a couple times. Think they would’ve noticed this happen and disappointed they still put the drink in there?!

You obviously need more bays for us to wait in for food to be done. Don't think I've ever been here and not been asked to wait in a bay, of which there never is one available

I always regret getting McDonald's. It's just so bad and it's not even cheap. The staff and operation are friendly and efficient. The food is so generic and blah.

Terrible service at 815 this morning not the first time the two young cooks just stand there having a chat I only ordered a coffee and 1 mc muffin was almost 20 mins the lady behind the counter had to do it her self in the end the same cooks on regular and always very slow due to would rather be talking then doing anything else

Visited at 5pm and floor and tables were a bit messy. Still disappointed that there is no decaff option for tea or coffee.

As soon as me and a group of friends walk in we were greeted by all i can describe as the friendliest, kindest and gentle soul ever. The worker (who goes by the name Ross) was the greatest Mcdonalds worker i had ever laid eyes on. Throughout my meal he was checking up and making sure everything was up to standard which it was may i add. He even brought my friend a drink from his own pocket. He was also on a first name basis with most customers in there proving that this wasnt just a one time thing. Aside from Ross and his excellent service the rest of my experience was also very good receiving my food in good time and it being a good temperature.

It was the worst breakfast I've ever had at mcdonald's. Missing things from order, and when I went to ask, they ignored me and others for minutes. Got back and started eating my wrap, only to have to eat a quarter of the wrap without any filling. Got to the bottom and realised that that was because they couldn't be asked to wrap the wrap properly, and most of the filling was now in the bottom of the container.

Was really good food and service had a 1/4lb cheese burger and a twix Mc flurry was all good 👍

Not too bad. I wish the burgers looked a bit similar to the pictures though.

Out of all the Norwich McDonald’s….this is definitely the worst one!! Hands down! Food is always cold and they ALWAYS get your order wrong and forget sauces! Definitely the worst one around

Nice clean place. Staff friendly and welcoming. Food piping hot. Good value for money. It's good to see a 5-star hygiene rating. Fries piping hot. Chicken nuggets got 23, wraps very got in meal deal. Can't beat a big Mc.

Food is great and always hot, although if you come late at night there is quite a long wait for the food to be taken to your car as you get told to park up

I’ve been there like a delivery driver, customer service is terrible,Mcdonald’s staffs always ignoring all drivers.. I don’t recommend this place! Wasting time !

Went to buy a burger from this McDonald’s and wanted to make sure that the burger I’ve ordered will contain what I’ve added to it. So I asked the lady at the second window just to make sure, but she looked at me and said “I don’t know what you talking about!” She was rude and not professional at all. It was like she had a fun with her colleague and she kept talking to her and also she didn’t bother to at least being polite and take the order and give it to me. The food was ready but she displayed high arrogance. Then a polite lad with glasses on came up to the window and he sort out my order. The lady was blond hair and fat bump lol. This happened on 06/08/2024 at approximately 22:50pm. I hope that the management of McDonald’s will sort her out.

As a frequent user of this McDonald's, I have spent twenty minutes waiting for food here at peak times. On a Saturday morning breakfast before 8am, I've found myself to be the only one sitting in the restaurant. When it's quiet, the food looks great and your food gets served quickly. When it's busy, things aren't so good. Can only recommend using this particular McDonald's location when it's quiet.

Food never looks the same as posters. Came just slapped on. Any other restaurants you'd send it back but mcds seem to get away with it

Made our order as normal, number came up on collection your order. Normally you woulld hear your number called out and your food would be there. Today complete silence and I wasn't the only.one. A continual appearance of mcdelivery paper bags were being processed and made ready but nothing further the poor people who regrettably decided to turn up and eat in were getting more frustrated. It would seem the mcdelivery was getting prioritised over the mere mortals. It was only when I approached and complained did my order miraculously appear. Oh McDonald's not good enough, not nearly good enough. You needed 2 people completing orders, one for mcdelivery and one for us mere mortals who were obviously getting in the way this evening.

Exactly what you would expect from McDonalds. Fast food, hot, clean, aircon, WiFi. Has a good sized car park, drive thru, outside seating and kids play park. It's so slow considering it was quite. No straws, had to ask. No ketchup had to ask and no milk for my tea had to ask! Seriously sort it out!! 🙄 Some of the kids tablets aren't working either.

Awful service. Me and my friend waited at front of the tills for 5 minutes,he got service and I got ignored, waited another 10 minutes before giving up and not ordering.

Visited for early breakfast, used the drive through, which was quick and easy. Polite staff, and a couple of friendly guls sat by the van (probably looking for something) which added a little humour to the breakfast routine!

Worst experience in McDonald's again. The order was first raised on the app. Where after waiting 10 minutes we were advised the ice machine was broken and the order couldn't not be forfilled as ice frappes were ordered. A second order was placed in the store to be taken to table 47. We then waited 30 minutes as the store was extremely busy, after asking a team member inside I was advised it would be out within 5 minute's. After 10 minutes I went back inside to check on the order to be told it had gone missing and not taken to table 47 as previously mentioned. We had to wait 55 minutes for the order, meaning we waited for 65 minutes in total. The chips were cold and the double big mac was not a double. Decided to give up, after spending £34.26 and over an hour waiting.

This outlet is my frequent one. I love to sit there and have a burger before I go to my office. The manager there is super friendly and supportive. He should be the model for how a manager should be.

2024 Review People had started telling me this McDonalds had improved so after my last review I thought I would pay it a visit and give it ago. I walked in and immediately saw mayhem with a very long wait but I thought I would choose table service to ease the wait WRONG, after ordering I discovered the staff had removed all the table ordering numbers as they could not cope and they where sitting by the till. After 30 minutes of waiting I got my fillet o fish meal as I think this is one they can usual ruin. After getting a table and opening my burger carton imagine my horror when I found all the hot food as cold as my milk shake . Had the restaurant been quiet I would have complained but as the one person on the front was snowed under compared to the 5 on drive through. Bring back Ronald McDonald and happy meals when there was a guarantee of a happy smile when you walked in and not a face full of pimples and cold food. We have come to the conclusion that we are not sure if it’s all McDonald are like this or it’s just the ones within the Foley group. 2023 review Sadly over the last few years food basics have not come up to what some members of the public call satisfactory at this Foley/McDonalds restaurant. Sunday 02nd April . A few years ago it was volume of staff gathering behind the till and talking leaving customers waiting, today. It is the cooks not being able to read. A Steakhouse Stack no lettuce or onion as it brings me out in hives. I took a seat and within 15 minutes the tray arrived sadly with lettuce and onion brimming out under the bun and the box. To add insult to injury it was even labelled on the box NO LETTUCE NO ONION and the receipt ( see pictures for proof ) . History has taught me never to complain in a fast food joint but the basics should at least be guaranteed at purchase imagine if it had been nuts and they had labelled it up nut free!!’ This restaurant/drive thru needs to be given the contempt it gives the customer. Order at the till and check before taking back to your seat this way they will hopefully put taste and customer satisfaction back before profit.

With Peter griffin running the show no wonder why the orders are always wrong or missing items

Got a parking ticket for eating with a friend at McDonald’s we were in there catching up and chatting for 1 hour 45 mins and got a £100 parking fine!!! £60 is a days wages for those McDonald’s staff!!!!

Unfortunately they have initiated a 90 minute parking restriction. Even for paying McDonald’s customers hanging out with friends. Absolute joke.

This is not a fast food place. Used the app, 20 minutes later 😱 It was so bad (see pictures) that a mother had to abandon her car to take a child to the toilet, that's how long we waited. Other pictures will show the queue behind us, again 😱. The last three McDonald's around Norwich have not been at all fast, shocking waiting times. Toilet, yes. Disabled parking, yes. Drive-thru, yes. Reason for delay 🤔 someone ordered a breakfast after 11-00 on the app 🤯 Please just refunded them and think of the other customers 👍🏻

Unfortunately today the milkshake and ice cream machines were not working and the food I ordered from the drive through was cold.

Haven't eaten anything yet but the manager is a legend and built for customer service. All staff were polite and food came out quickly. Quite a few drunk people but that just made it funnier and more entertaining lol.

I appreciate that I am reviewing a McDonald's Restaurant but I met a colleague for lunch, received table service. I will always give a 5 star review for hot food eg fries and a FOF

Love McDonald's especially their chicken nuggets and their mcflurrys are to die for

It's actually quite rare to want to shout about a maccies, but even though this place was busy the staff didn't seem overwhelmed and seemed quite chirpy to be working through the buzz. The food was delivered to my table hot and fresh and I even got a discount through the app. They've got a drive thru and a kids play area as well as outside seating and a bunch of activities indoors for kids too.

Worst experience of a macds restaurant ever! You are letting the Deliveroo and uber eats ruin the experience. We waited 25 minutes for two happy meals! Bloke in front of me had a 30 minute wait! The whole experience was carnage stressful and even made my daughter cry - all for a happy meal which was more cold than hot once we got

Food was as you would expect from mc Donald's, good meal, quick, the server bringing it out was polite but had a face like thunder.

swearing and unwelcoming rude staff slow service food cold and orders incorrect.Staff seem to be more interested in there own private lives than attending to customers staff including some managers seen smoking outside swearing and giving an unwelcoming atmosphere a manager called Frankie on his name badge swearing loadly and a member of staff called Hannah who was on this particular night I visited is very cold and unwelcoming and seems to have a very can't be bothered attitude .I will not be using this restaurant again that's for sure on top of that I was unwell after consuming the food.

I only wanted a cheeseburger and parked up as drive through was busy . I ordered and waited 20 mins because they were doing huge orders for deliveroo and just eat drivers . Was suggested to me that I should have downloaded the app as It would have been quicker if I preordered. Bring back the good old days when it was all piled high behind the counters

Standard mc Donald's, however we stopped early in the morning and our food was lukewarm at best.

I would like to say a big thank you to the staff at McDonald’s at Norwich Airport. Today my Granddaughter dropped her happy meal on the floor, the staff quickly clear the mess up and gave her an another meal. Thank you for your help and kindness.

Was lovely to hear an employee have such pride in their job tonight. Ross was very polite and made the effort to see if everybody who came through the door was ok and if they needed help with anything. Below average for McDonald’s. Went through drive through and had wait wait wait while everyone else got their order and mine was clearly forgotten.. had to go inside to find out what the problem was only to be ignored by a bunch of kids who couldn’t care less.. then obviously food was all cold …

Ok so this place can get busy, and the real issue I've had one more than one occasion is incorrect orders supplied and food being cold/luke warm.. but this was however resolved straight away by the staff

Not a great visit. Burger dry, fries soggy. No tea or coffee on offer. Empty tables still dirty. Toilet had wet floor and no sign. Food turned up quick though. Ordered in store. Overbearing lobby host asking if everything alright every few minutes EDIT: A few bad visits recently. Lukewarm food, soggy fries, cold hot chocolate. Tables always seem to be dirty. Rubbish removed, but still need wiping. Self service kiosks.

Had to wait 5-10 minutes for the system to update at 00.20. This McDonald's is 24/7 okay fair enough. Then go through drive thru with our mobile order we did online. Speak to the lady on the headset who takes our order number then doesn't reply and starts having chat with another worker ask for our number again. Then the 2nd window says there's a 15 minutes wait for our apple pie. But your 24/7 why are you not prepared. Joke.

It's McDonald's fast food with good service

You can only park your car there for 90 minutes before getting a parking fine. Regardless of whether you are inside buying food. Just like any other McDonald's. Not much point in writing a description. You know what you are getting when you go to a Maccies. If you do not like the breakfasts is there something wrong with you?! They are amazing!!!

I swear every time I order from here delivery or drive through they give you half the portion of fries. Suppose to be large fries! It wasn’t so bad when McDonald’s was actually cheap, but now it’s pretty the same or even more expensive than going out somewhere for food. Would not recommend guys

Not so good this evening placed order it was delivered very fast. First I had no straws with my milk shakes and had to que to ask for them. We ordered 2 stakehouse burgers plus other thing on the menu as we were a group of 4. When eating the burger it was very drab and bland. All other food was up to MC Donald's standard. I went to see what was in the steakhouse, we got 2 burgers and lettuce. We should have had 2 burgers slice cheese, crispy onions red onion lettuce, served with peppercorn sauce. No wonder it was drab. I did complain and was offered 2 replacements but we had eaten the double burger with lettuce. It wasn't that busy in the inside but it may have been busy in the drive through. What was unusual was no front of house staff and some of the table not cleard. Nothing to do with this store but every time i go in one the prices always seem to have gone up and I go at least once a month.

After paying the asked amount for a hot big mac meal and chicken burger, I waited in the car park for a good 10 minutes to be served warm fries with no seasoning, a tepid chicken burger and a cold big mac with no cheese, pickles, a smidge of sauce, a mound of lettuce and no receipt. The most disgusting service I've ever received from a mcdonalds from staff that clearly have no pride in themselves or appreciation of employment. You need to be audited when you least expect it. Never coming back

Ordered the wrap of the day... crispy chicken with Ceasar salad with bacon.. the wrap was not heated... cold... the bacon was on the outside of the wrap... and the bottom piece of chicken was raw and chewy...it was possibly the worst wrap I have ever been served

Excellent service. Such a kind couple of staff members. In all honesty I had better service here than some so called 5* restaurants. One staff member who was cleaning tables was so polite couldn't do enough for customers.

Sometimes food is not hot .been here on the way to work in the mornings , won't be coming here to this McDonald's for my breakfast. Fed up with cold food I pay for my food to be hot . The floor is like an ice skating ring in mornings like it's grease is on it . Witness a customer slip over on it . The toilets are disgusting ( mens ) the been sick in the corner phoo on the toilet wall it's been there for over a week ,so I would stay clear if this is the health and safety here I would hate to think what the kitchen is like and how your food is cooked . I think this might need to be reported to health and safety for an inspection.

This is always a good McDonald's, have been to many but this is one of the good ones,, double sausage and egg mc muffin meal, bun is actually toasted, and food is hot, and it is wrapped correctly so you get your food as it should be,, food is not cheap, so nice to see pride in work
