Subway in Norwich

Do Subway charge £1 for cheese (not extra cheese) on a Meatball Marinara or did the guy just rip me off? Can't believe I actually paid it. Never been mugged before but imagine this is how it feels

He wouldn’t sell me a foot long because me and my friend was halving it

I visited the store in London Street in Norwich this morning in order to use up my reward points before they expired. I used my points to purchase a 6 inch big breakwich. Firstly I had to wait a while to be served, there were no other customers in the store but the person behind the counter was preparing an online order for collection. He didn't actually tell me that or apologise for keeping me waiting, I just stood there for a while and worked that out for myself. After paying for my sandwich with my points I went to sit outside the store to eat it, it was then I discovered it was not even luke warm even though it had been put in the oven. I went back in to the store and explained it was cold (not easy given the language barrier - and I mean no disrespect to your employee's ethnicity, it was just really difficult for me to understand him and vice versa), he put the sandwich back in the oven and although it did feel warmer when he handed it to me it turned out not to be much warmer when I came to eat it. I don't know if there was an issue with the oven or if he just wasn't putting things in for long enough, either way it was not a very experience. But by that point I was hungry and did not want to go through the hassle of trying to get it heated further so I just ate it and left. Having wasted the reward points I had built up I will most definitely not be returning to that store and will be considering whether or not to remain a customer of Subway at all after this.

We had a small issue with our order and spoke to Oscar. Oscar was polite, helpful and remedied the issue for us quickly. Couldn't ask for better service. Thank you Oscar!

Please can the staff make sure to read orders correctly! I have a friend severely allergic to onions and we strictly put no onions. Low and behold. They put in onions. It wasn't a big order and if she hadn't have looked we would have had a very long night in the er.

The staff in the London Street subway are absolutely lovely. Marta, Junayed and Ehsan are brilliant at their job. Always friendly and efficient, they are a real credit to the Subway franchise. If only everybody had their customer service skills. Management take note!

Would not visit this shop again. They did not know what whey was doing. 4 staff took our order and stil had to wait 20 mins for the food. Shop and tables was dirty.

Hello, I met up with a friend last week in Norwich and I had planned to go to a cafe I normally visit, but it was closed along with a couple of options. So we decided to have a takeout from Subway. Which was lovely, we then had a wander before catching the open top Bus. For a tour round Norwich.

Went to this store a few days back during my lunch break, nothing but positives coming from this store. Very polite and cheerful staff (unfortunately didn't get their names) very tasty sandwich and was made within a couple of mins. 100% recommend going here and will definitely be going back in the near future

Having worked there knowing they now change date labels which is illegal!! The meatballs are in cambros for God knows how many days!! Which is also illegal!! I'd avoid at all costs if you don't want food poisoning!!!

Tuna sub with Mayo, mixed peppers, lettuce and pickles on Italian herb and cheese came as tuna sub with Italian bread with sweet chili and Mayo, mixed peppers, lettuce and sweet corn. Another sub was a cheesy pepperoni with Italian herb and cheese. This order was correct but the bread was wrong again, hardly any sauce or sweet corn. Plus hardly no cheese. Not really sure how people can get something so simple so wrong, but I guess the staff working there on Easter Sunday must be really… well I can understand why they are the ones working.

The staff here are in real need of some training I'm afraid to say. They squashed my bread flat after cutting it for some weird reason, added less than the standard amount of cold cuts, and then argued when I asked for some more lettuce. Could be penny pinching on the owners part? Either way, if they think nobody is noticing they need to think again.

Brought a sub from this store two days ago 3 hours after eating it I was taken to hospital with food poisoning and have only just been discharged from the hospital

Forgot the cheese and the cookie and charged me for extra cheese and the cookie went back and refused to give me either go st stephans street where they don’t forget your food

Was OK was given 2 meat free meatballs in my marina as they ran out of meat ones and was not asked if I wanted an alternative.

The young girl that served me was firstly very rude (no name badge otherwise I would name and shame) was left on her own and there were a few waiting but manner cost nothing. Not sure how a establishment such as this would run out of Lettuce as well as other items. But to my amazement an employee making his own sub made sure he had all salad available leaving paying members of the public without.

Three stars as the staff were friendly and trying their best but they need to hire an extra person. During a busy lunch service there were only two people serving whilst a delivery guy was continuously banging on the back door and a queue of customers was building up on the street. They were out of stock on a lot of items and by the time I was served, my lunch break was almost over. I hope the owner of this franchise realises the hard work and effort the staff put into to keeping this place a float. I don’t have subway often and this experience has not encouraged me to come back anytime soon.

Went for the new meatless meatball sub and it was delicious! Had a voucher for 2 footling subs, two drinks and two snacks for only £10 which is great value and the food was quick, tasty and satisfying. So glad they've finally offered something other than the vegan slab. The person that served us was also really friendly so service was as good as the food :)

Disappointed that given its name it wasn't underground and there were no trains, so as a commuter service its rubbish, good sandwiches though

It's a subways with standard uniform menu as other branches - but this one is really clean behind the counter and the staff - especially Christian who was covering that day was so sweet! Makes my "I'm having a bad day" indulgence that bit better. Thanks!

The tea was very weak, they had very limited sandwiches and very few crisps. The price is good and the staff were nice, which are the only good things I can say about this place. This is the first time I have visited this named place. Next time I I hope it is better.

Siendo saludable para 2018, comenzó a bajar del autobús unas paradas antes y después de desayunar Subs en Subway recientemente decidió probar el de la calle Magdalen. Son franquicias y, aunque tienen que cumplir con todas las reglas, el personal hace una diferencia en la cantidad de relleno que ponen, etc. y este no falló. Tuve el sustituto de huevo escalfado con el mejor chocolate caliente del año. Y me dejaron tenerlo a pesar de no querer la carne solo del huevo y muy saludable también.

Me encanta un Sub! Mi hermana me presentó primero hace diez años cuando ella estaba viviendo en Qatar. Eran lo que tienen cuando compras. No estoy seguro de cómo se traduciría en este país pero me encanta la variedad de rellenos y acompañamientos, junto con el tipo de pan etc. Su chocolate caliente es bastante impresionante. Uno es la calle Londres es realmente agradable y están siempre dispuestos a intercambiar las cosas alrededor para mí. Además me encanta el hecho de que están en calorías contados.

Quería algo para comer, ya que no tenía nada antes, así que nos paramos en aquí. Era tranquilo y vacío, así que estaba sirve inmediatamente. Se obtiene de la variedad normal de elección aquí, como cabe esperar de un metro. El shopwas también limpia y ordenada. Mi atún sub era tan bueno como se espera.

El personal es muy amable y el servicio rápido. Hay 4 taburetes cerca de las ventanas y se puede ver el mundo pasar. Pedimos 2 6 En subs y los comió en la ventana. Muy limpio. Muy asequible personal super rápido. Sin usar esta rama de nuevo

Good coffee here and for a good price too. Staff are friendly and everyone is welcome. The wall to wall screening outside means you can enjoy your coffee in a safer environment and you are in the middle of London Steet which is pedestrianised and one of the best retail areas in Norwich. Highly recommend.

Coffee here is good value and flavour. Have yet to ask them what it is but my guess is its better that the Italian blend I use at home. Interestingly Subway, Costa next to it, and even Greggs next to that, are safely screened from window to window. This is reassuring for someone like me who recently had a bad experience at a restaurant, top end of London Street. Recovering from an accident and not able to turn my neck well, I had not seen a man approach me from behind whilst sitting outside at a table by the window. It turned out it was just my table he and his companion had wanted, but as I was unfinished my first thoughts had been my bag on the floor and my safety. Here at this Subway you can relax and not worry about anything more than if you have the time to finish your lovely coffee. Staff take care of you, management is appreciative and professional and no one is discriminated against, which is maybe why Subway is so successful. Working in retail and knowing the long catalogue of hard efforts most chain coffee/restaurant businesses employ to have become as successful as they are, only a fool would knock that which listens to ALL of its customers!

Me di cuenta que había un par de comentarios del metro no son perfectas. ¿Por qué? No pretende ser nada más que lo que son! Ofrecen buena comida, buenos ingredientes y buenos precios, y este metro no es muy diferente. No seas bobo y sé que metro no es el pináculo de la cocina de la comida, pero la comida es decente, y una buena relación calidad-precio? Sí! Seamos serios y precio para lo que es, un lujoso restaurante no sólo un lugar estupendo para comer y muy buena relación calidad-precio! Me lo recomendó el metro a nadie, así que no seamos esnobs, ve y disfruta!

La comida era deliciosa y en 3,79 no puedo quejarme presentación de la comida era buen servicio rápido tenía el pollo teriyaki 6 pulgadas sub tan agradable.

I asked for a 6 inch BMT, I was served by a girl called Maria or similar. The service was rushed and TERRIBLE even though it was not busy. My sandwich was slapped together, torn, and generally VERY POOR! This is not something I am used to when visiting your stores and has really annoyed me. When I stated at the till I was not happy with it, I was ignored, thrown my sandwich and the next customer was attended to. VERY UNHAPPY!!!!!

My sons favourite place to eat (12yrs old). He loves the foot long with tuna and cheese (and tomato sauce!!!!). Which is the great thing about eating here, you can choose exactly what you do and don`t want. There are plenty of choices from the make of the bread, the size, the fillings and whether you want it toasted or not. Also look out for the deals, it makes eating out very reasonable.
