McDonald's in Norwich

It's a terrible place, I definitely don't recommend it.

Used to eat here all the time but now the staff are all teenagers and don't care, the food is always disappointing. Dry or too greasy. Given up.

This store is on the floor where KFC and Chopsticks is. After noon time, finding a seat will be a challenge. Unlike other stores, they do nothing with the apps. So no coupons, reward points , or order from official app those kind of things. Unless you use one of those delivery app as I see riders pickup from there. No self service machines. Staff are friendly though and toilets are straight across from it so that's super convenient when being with a kiddo. The text on the menu is so small its like eye test, if you are used to everything big on your phone. The food doesn't taste as fresh as the ones I've had in other stores though, that's a surprise with that kind of turnover rate and queues.

As usual, they forgot the milk for the tea and the dipping sauce for the nuggets.

Went here yesterday, won’t take my app or offers etc, service was awful, two queues one for three for £3 and another for normal orders, what’s that all about, no drinks either, we all left and went to subway, no wonder your profits are down mc Donald’s

One of the best mcdonald’s in norwich. I came on a day where it was very busy and the service was understandably slow. but i cannot put fault or blame on any of the staff that keep the boat floating during a busy period. service on the whole is very good with kind staff and an even better ordering process.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but unfortunately after countless issues with this McDonald’s branch I feel the need to. When ordering from Chapelfeilds in the past, the last 4 orders of mine have been wrong, to the point I had two entire burgers and 20 nuggets missing. The same entails for the rest, and it’s a little frustrating that you cant read an order/ticket or check the items before sending them to be delivered. I get having off days, and usually It doesn’t bother me on occasion! But this has been consistent. Deliveroo credit only goes so far and its not their fault, I just want my order correct the first time without the whole follow-up of what’s missing this time like some game show? lol. Do better please

I would just like to say a big thank you to the two older gentleman working in the restaurant I had my twin grandchildren that are two with me and they helped me amazingly

Breakfast wrap was vile...tasteless too. Coffee machine not working. Service was good and great chat with Martin who took the time to talk to us during a quiet period. He's a credit to your company.

Bland food, only warm. Poor seating.

This one is one of the better ones. Service is very poor. Can wait ten minutes in line whilst the few staff seemingly concentrate on the on line orders, before getting to the people waiting in-store to order. No real atmosphere to speak of. Generally quiet, or people shouting to be heard. Food, this visit, was not too bad. Reasonable hot and seemed to be fresh off the grill, not stored in those plastic trays they use. Chips were over salty. Nuggets being as expected.

Everything was good but hard to find seating.

No offers can be redeemed in here. And the service is average. Packing is rubbish for takeaway.

It's maccies, you know what you are getting with the brand or what you have come to expect. Everything was up to standard but..... You can't use the app 😕 nope it's true Don't think you can cash in those free fries and drink...

I do enjoy a visit to this McDonald's, it is a very busy spot. I ordered a breakfast wrap very early and the order was amazingly quick and the McDonald's was empty at 9.20am this morning! I was the 19th order of the day, it was made to perfection as you can see in the picture. The price is very reasonable to coming with a latte, cappuccino or flat white.

As far as I know this McDonalds doesn't offer touchscreen or app ordering, which feels incredibly outdated and awkward for a busy location. I'll avoid next time. It's also far more expensive recently.

This is a great Mcdonald in norwich inside a huge shopping centre with lots of things to do and see.

Soft drink flat when taken back was offered a cuppa tea as a replacement as all fizzy drink would be the same. No milkshakes either. Service was awful.

busy at some times perfect in the morning so best to be there early staff are OK food was average but thats just McDonald s for you pretty quick service would eat here again

What a strange McDonald’s. No screens to order from, you can’t use the app, you have to queue up at a till which is situated in the wrong place to order food. Bizarre.

A good place to eat, but definitely could do with more tables & chairs. That place could do with a makeover. Very surprised that they haven't branched out to the old Pizza Hut place opposite them

I think people working in the kitchen should use gloves since they are touching food.

McFlurry was not flurried, on querying this the staff member lied - blaming recyclable spoons. I've received a flurry with a recyclable spoon from another branch recently which was perfectly flurried. Also there are no ordering screens so had to queue.

We bought some food there not long ago and the chicken from the chicken wrap wasn't cooked properly it was jellyfied and overly soft , went back and changed it and the same again , so avoid the breakfast wraps as they cause stomach upsets .

Good little McDonald's.Usual prices etc.

There was no rushing food come straight away, it was hot.

It's OK but get there before midday if you're wanting a seat. Especially now you can't eat outside their area.

One person serving at meal time. Constant beeping noises from kitchen while we queued over ten minutes.

Gave us bacon in our order even though the label said No Bacon

It was like going backwards 10 years. There are no screens to order on, everything is done at a manned till. They don't use the app at all, so you can't use points you already have. It was really busy but it took ages for the food to arrive. Not sure I'd go back in a hurry.

Fries lukewarm and burnt bits on them. Burger ok.

Staff were very attentive and the food was good and fresh. The atmosphere is alright and there is a lovely window view with seating. All I think they need is some self - ordering machines to help the large queues but otherwise very nice

After cleaning the floor she just think that is the right place to put it.

It's McDonald's what more do you want? Bizarrely, the app doesn't work here so you cannot take advantage of any offers you may have, or accumulate any points.

Took ages to get food, no self-serve points at most mcdonalds. Service was slow, but food was hot 🔥

Me and my partner were out today having a lovely date, we both had decided on getting some mcdonalds but I had to pop into the toilet first. My partner sat down in the completely EMPTY seating area to which a member of staff named Chris came over to very rudely ask if she had ordered anything and if not to leave the seats, my partner has severe anxiety and has a disability lanyard which she was wearing to display this and yet even though she tried to explain that she was going to order he asked her very rudely to leave paying no attention to her disability or any niceness. I at this point come out the toilet to see her in tears, and explaining to me what happened I was absolutely seething and went to speak to a manager she was very polite and nice and explained that no rule about ordering or seating existed so Chris had kicked her out of the seats for no reason. Sorry but Chris should not be working there if he can not understand disability lanyards or decides he makes his own rules over the company ones.

Very friendly staff, especially the man and lady cleaning tables, chatted with us and asked if we needed anything. Took our trays and cleaned after we had finished. Food was quick and hot. Will return.

A fantastic Mcdonald's branch thanks for the great service, quick waiting times, and great quality of food! Touch wood I have never had a major issue at this branch. Food is always hot and prepared at a decent time. Service has always been good at this branch. The seating areas most of the time are clean and tidy with seating always available whether it is busy or quiet. 5* will continue to dine here as I have done for many years!

It can get quite crowded from 12-2 with all the tables being full and a line wrapping around to the toilets. The staff are quite slow and so the wait times were extremely slow cant really complain about the food well it's just plain mcdonalds food isnt it.

Very busy but served quite quickly. Not enough seats for families although stsff were very good clearing tables after people left .

Needs updating with self order terminals. Queues to order with 1 of only 3 till staff in holiday times is crazy! And the "quick" order section was cash only.

A totally joyless experience... a higgledy-piggledy queue and I'm not sure it's even legal to describe it as a "Spanish Fruit Punch", more like an expensive cup full of ice and a couple of sips of pink goo...

The exact opposite of fast food. None of the summer ice drinks available and waited longer than you would at a table service restaurant.

If you have a problem, I don't recommend calling the restaurant. Unless you want the Manager, Kiera, to slam the phone down on you. She just lost her store a regular weekly order. Not a great Ambassador for McDonalds Customer Service. Retrain or redeploy.

Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff today. Very clean despite high turnover. Not sure why no self service ordering machines like most McDonald's outlets especially when KFC next door does.

Dreadful service, closed when arrived at 12:30 and once open took over 30 mins to get food. Both ketchup and BBQ sauce pumps completely empty.

Just got a Milk Shake, clean and functional.

The service here was amazing, food was perfect and fresh as always. Plus if you download the app there are specific deals on, for instance today I redeemed my offer of a 99p Big Mac! Like that's so cool and amazing. The person who delivered my food as well was so cheerful and friendly I had a whole conversation with him about the best mcflurrys. Lengers experience if you ask me. WAIT EDIT: ITS NOT THIS ONE ITS THE 18 HAYMARKET ONE THAT IS AMAZING, THIS UPSTAIRS ONE IS RUBBISH AND DIFFICULT TO NAVIGATE PLUS THE MACCIES APP DOESNT WORK THERE

They're normally quick given how busy they are, food is of variable quality, staff are helpful.

Location is inside the shopping centre on the top floor food court. Clean and tidy, fast service. there is no self service at this mcdonald's it is good old fashion human to human interaction

We went to spu you like and it was nice went with my son and my husband very friendly staff 👍

Slowest service ever had at a Mcdonald

Food was good. I was surprised, as last time didn't enjoy it. But they were short staffed, and the que was huge and the waiting times really absurd.

Slow service. They take one order and won't take another order until the first has got their food. Never again

My McExperience at McDonalds was McGreat! I ordered a McBacon Double Cheeseburger and it was McDelicious!

This McDonald's is just like a regular McDonald's, but it is 3 stars because there was not enough seating, and it took ages to find it, plus it did not have any screens to inform you when your order was ready, so on top of the extreme noise there, it was difficult to find your order.

Workers are slow and appear clueless all the time. Sadly the same goes for who appears to be the manager. Took 10 minutes to order an egg sandwich with only two other customers in front of me. manager needs to designate worker responsibilities better because cashiers walk around doing all sorts when they should have only one person take orders and one collecting and bagging food etc, rather than both getting mixed up between jobs. It’s not hard..

Decent breakfast as always but a bit of a wait for the McMuffin to be cooked.

I never expect a lot from a Macdonald's but this really was pretty poor. Milkshakes were a banana and vanilla mix. Yuk! What prompted me to write was the filth of the toilets. You could see they hadn't had a proper deep clean for a very, very long time. The whole place was dirty but the toilets were shameful

This is genuinely the slowest mcdonalds I have ever been to. I feel like I aged by two years by the time I got my food. Don't bother with this place just make the trek to the one near the library

Too slow for words, one person taking the orders, operating one till, doing the drinks . 6 more tills in the line turned off. Two other remote tills unmanned. Even after ordering a wait of over ten minutes for food to arrive. One member of management taking her own sweet time making up delivery orders looking at the ever growing queue. Another tidying up the salt and pepper. Rubbish service. Felt sorry for the young lady on the till.

For a change this city centre restaurant was fairly quiet and we didn't have to fight for a seat. Meal was freshly cooked, but sadly no milkshakes available

Had the usual morning breakfast bacon mcmuffin w hashbrown and hot chocolate de luxe. The service was alright, my order was taken by a trainee she was a bit slow which is understandable but she's alright. The restaurant is very spacious setup is like foodcourt open plan. There load of customers considering its early morning Sunday. I enjoyed my breakfast and I was able to find a conrer with less crowd which is ideal with the current situation.

I was unable to order my meal using the app. This outlet doesn't seem to participate in McDonald's deals (App). My Diet coke was over filled to a point where it spilt on my leg. Quick service however and food was as expected

Took our granddaughter for a Happy meal, very busy as usual the service and staff are very quick can not complain about the food which was hot and cooked unlike other Mcdonald outlike I have been to, the staff were quick to wipe Down tables and to clean away left over rubbish we had a good visit on a very busy day.
