Awful, deceitful service and would give 0 stars if it was an option. Had already paid delivery fee, then they phone asking for an additional £2.50. Apparently the Just Eat delivery charge is calculated by the first part of the postcode and our postcode is large, so they want to charge us more! Just charge an average for the whole postcode then. Doing it this way feels very underhand and relying on people just want their food and won't push back. Order cancelled and we ordered elsewhere.

Disgusting! Chicken noodle soup consisted of 6pcs of chicken strips with a spoon of noodles. I am an old customer but wont do it again.

Absolutely disgusting food, after nearly 2 hours waiting for a delivery all 3 of us who had eaten all feel sick, all in all vile, would not recommend to my worst nightmare.

The vegetable chow mien, tofu in black bean sauce, special fried rice and kung po chicken had very little flavour and were really greasy. I couldn’t eat the tofu in black bean and sadly it went in the bin with half of the chow mien. None of them tasted like anything we’d ordered from a Chinese restaurant before, and we eat a lot of Chinese food! I called the restaurant to talk to them about the food and ask for a refund. Initially I was told that the restaurant have cooked that way for 20 years and that it wasn’t fair to criticise the food having not ordered from them before. They also said it wasn’t fair to ask for a refund. I later got a call from a very nice man apologising for my experience and offering me a free meal next time I order from them- which I won’t do again. I didn’t read the reviews on this restaurant until now and wish I had done before ordering!

One of the worst take aways I've ever had. It took 3 hours and 20 minutes to arrive. It was obviously cold when we got it. Chicken curry is mostly mushrooms. Chilli beef is mostly carrots.

Nothing special. Not cheap any more. Better to buy your own ingredients and cook it yourself. Meat dishes padded out with lots of cheap vegetables and onions.

Ordered kung po chicken, beef and black bean and noodles and all 3 were flavourless. Honestly the worst ‘Chinese’ food we have had from any takeaway. Will not return

Appalled to be quite honest. I wish I could give a zero star. Tried to order over the weekend however could not tell me one single thing on the menu that didn’t contain milk, even asked whether their chips would be ok (surely?!) and told me still shouldn’t buy them. In this day & age you’d think people would cater to allergies but I was actually told to order elsewhere, with a big order of other people buying! Actually disgusted!

Vegetarian meal contained some sort of meat, most probably chicken. Remainder super oily such that only the Greasy Strangler would have been happy.

I ordered for a chicken dumplings over the phone, but delivered vegetable dumplings. I complained by phone for the wrong order, but the staff did not understand. She was argumentative. Did not resolve the issue.

Need to put option for special fried rice with curry so can order on website 🙂generally good food but can be abit hit and miss at times xx

Came on time, everything was cooked great! Prawn balls and duck wraps are tasty, only down point was black bean sauce was watery. Portions are very generous! Overall happy 😊

Quoted 30 minutes delivery and an hour and 15 minutes later I'm still waiting and they wouldn't let me cancel!

Great food! Used them for years and can never fault the food. Yes on rare occasions there are mistakes with the order but they're a popular take away, can't always be helped.

Never again. Dishes all tasted the same, watery and bland. Some of the veg was raw and I love mushrooms but these made me gag.

I've had it delivered and it isn't amazing BUT collecting it straight from cooked to home it was incredible!!!

The worse Chinese I’ve ever had, was just grim all round. I phoned to complain and the woman was very rude (don’t get the kung po chicken by the way, incredibly bland).

Yuan Feng has been our local chinese for just over 2 years now, always have a really lovely meal from this place and delivery to our house is always super speedy too. Delivery drivers are lovely, honestly cannot fault the place. Best in town!

Although the food was delivered quickly, we were missing part of the meal! I called them straight away to let them know & they said they would call the driver, so I assumed it would be delivered shortly and dished out our food. 20 minutes went by, we finished what we had so I called them again, to see if the rest was on its way, the man I spoke to asked me to hang on & I heard him speak to someone in the background (wasn't in English so unsure of what was said but I assume he was just chasing up my query) and honestly her reaction was insane! The lady screamed at him so loudly that my partner heard it from across the room, and I didnt have them on loudspeaker, it was just that loud! He then said they were waiting for a driver to deliver it to us and apologised for our wait. I wasn't exactly happy but I wasn't about to give him a hard time after hearing that. 35 mins go by & it's been an hour since our food was delivered. I called up (for the 3rd time!) to see if our food was on its way yet, they said it wasn't so I told them not to bother sending it out as there was no point, we'd finished eating for a while by this time and I just wanted to put my newborn to bed without someone knocking on the door and waking him up because honestly, who knows what time they were planning on showing up. The response was they would refund the missing item but honestly I feel like that wasn't good enough as our experience was terrible. If they were too busy to want to deliver the rest of our food, then just say so, don't say you are going to deliver it & not bother. After the first phone call, it should have been sent out immediately, I shouldn't need to call 3 times over the course of an hour & still not get my food. Really disappointed with how we were treated but even more by how they treated their own staff, to scream at him like that knowing we were on the phone was incredibly unprofessional and no-one should be treated like that. This doesn't even deserve one star but have too leave 1, we ordered food online no food arrived we called the shop lady was very rude twice!....I'm appalled by the whole thing and we still haven't received our money back wont be going back there ever!!

Absolute jokers, I’m never one to write a bad review but wow how rude. After paying for and waiting for my takeaway I thought I’d call up to see how long it would be. Well I know we are in unfortunate times at the mo but to say you haven’t got my order, although it’s paid for and being cooked apparently and then to be told they are not delivering to my area, we share the same postcode. Then to say that I’ll be refunded soon and then had the audacity to hang up and not refund me over the phone well thanks for your great customer service won’t be buying from you again.

DREADFUL! don’t bother ordering from here it will ruin your night! We ordered though just eat (quoted 35-50 mins delivery) it took 1 hour 40 minutes. During that time I called the restaurant 2 times to chase the food and both times the lady hung up on me and Even said that the reason she had no news for me on where my order was, was because I had called and she didn’t have time to call the driver. The food arrived totally cold and 1 item of the 3 items we ordered was the completely wrong dish. Will never order from here again and suggest you don’t either.

Took 2 hours to come, when I rang up all the woman said was “it’s on way” - ruined my mates bday meal

Have recently starting using Yuan feng again and could not fault the last 2 orders, even one on New Years Day when the restuarant was ridiculously busy. However, what a disappointment tonights meal was, chips re heated, rice stodgy, beef very very fatty and the lumps of ginger not enjoyable, king prawn noodles also quite stodgy, black bean sauce in chicken dish extremely diluted. In all it seemed all dishes were not cooked to order and most reheated. Hard to believe food came from same takeaway and sorry but will not be ordering again.

Amazing food and service. First time I used them but 100% recommend. 4 dishes all superbly cooked. My new favourite Chinese in Norwich

(right for cancelation my phone is wose on bizzi lines ) 3. Wen I'm call to them asking risen for cancelation, staff wose were root. NEWER EWER WILL BE CALL THEM!!!

had tried this takeaway 2 weeks ago. food was very hot [not spicy] and had been cooked and delivered very quickly.good quality. i have since ordered again on the strength of the first order. noodles were luke warm, stodgy and very uninviting. the duck dish was strange. sliced duck about the the thickness of thick sliced ham and a white film across duck similar to cooking bacon and having the discharge of water and processing. i left half of the meal and an hour later did not feel very well. went to bed and just made it to the bathroom to be sick. will never buy from this establishment again. i eat a lot of chinese, usually from the cantonese kitchen which is very reliable but fancied a change as a number of different items on menu.big mistake

Bland, tasteless food, would not recommend. Order was incorrect and when I called they basically told me I was lying. I had to drive to collect the correct meal. As I entered the woman behind the counter was on the phone being rude to another customer! Will not use again

Good flavoursome food, and delivery on time by a very enthusiastic delivery man.

A surprisingly good place to have Chinese food. First of all, the price was good, 10 pounds is enough to make one person super full. Second, the flavour is nice. It manages to achieve a good and rich flavour without being too salty or oily. The spicy foods are definitely worth a go as the spice is just enough to give the food a nice kick while not overpowering the flavour of the food itself. Third, the quantity of the food is very good. They give you loads of rice. (Not just plain white rice, you can order egg fried rice or mixed vegetable rice and they will give you loads of egg and veg as well). Plenty of vegetables and meat. As I said, you will be full after you’ve eaten everything. Fourth, they are pretty efficient at cooking, if you go to the place instead of making a delivery they can get everything done in 2-3 minutes. I recommend this place if you are living near the area and want to have some nice food without going to the city centre.

Our 'local' Chinese takeaway, and have been using it for Saturday night treats for the last 5-6 years. It is, unfortunately, a little hit and miss in terms of flavour of the dishes, which I suppose depends on whoever is preparing it in the kitchen. And I would DEFINITELY recommend collection, not delivery as not once has the order been right when we have had delivery. But overall, if you see past its occasional inconsistencies, it's s good Chinese takeaway.

Not the best chicken curry I've had, prefer a thicker curry sauce. The sauce was too watery, and not the best flavour.

Quick and easy to order and fast delivery. The sweet and sour chicken ball portions are probably the biggest I have found in Norwich.

WORST CHINESE EVER. Ordered off Just Eat 30/9/2018 To begin: According to Just Eat the food would be delivered in 45 mins. and the delivery charge would be 50p. After one hour I received a very rude telephone call asking if I would pay an extra £2:50 delivery charge. I questioned why I was being asked, given I had put my address into Just Eat. In reply all I was repeatedly asked was if I wanted to cancel the order. Given that I'd been waiting an hour, I asked if the food had started to be cooked. The very rude woman tried to swerve the question 3 times. On the 4th she reported that it had not been started yet. We were both very hungry so after a small protest during which I was told to complain to Just Eat. It arrived 30 mins later. So double the time. Secondly. the food was rubbish. Foo Yung: More salty than the Dead Sea. Mushroom Curry: Watery and insipid. Worst ever. Salt and Chilli Squid. No flavour, cold and soggy. Pork Balls: Overcooked to the point that they were dark brown and could only be cut with a serrated knife. It was so bad that we threw away the leftovers meaning no Chinese for breakfast, which for a glutton like me is unheard of. Avoid. They don't deserve your money.

Put in an order over the phone. Went to collect it at the time arranged and had to wait almost 20 minutes. It was obvious that they didn't start cooking the meal until I arrived. What's the point of ordering over the phone if it's not ready at the time you say.

Duck curry more onions no peas with,egg fried rice no peas, beef cow main and spici prawns.Very easy, placed order at 5 past 5 they did said its busy and it will be over an hour? Arrived half past 6 and we where very hungry so paid and opend the first box,what was the duck and i have to say there is always a fussy eater but the duck was s..t 5pieces no onions and 15 pieces of mushrooms ???? Waiting hour and halfe for what we got,i phoned back and said we want all replaced, they said sorry on the phone and it will be with us soon as they can manage?? Its gone 8a clock now and we are still waiting for what we ordert at 5 past 5 no stars from me 😴had to give one and as i speak nock on the door and yes order is here 22 past 8 and the duck got peas in it thanks for that it goes in the bin did mentoin about allergy will not order again!!!!!!

Food was average. But delivery time on site was quoted as 9:05 (which was 45 mins after order - fair enough on a busy Sat night), but upon completing the order a message comes up '"the restaurant has added 30 mins to delivery time" (not ok, be clear in advance - just eat needs to take some responsibility here as well as the restaurant). BUT then, the delivery was actually a further 20 mins later that that revised time! Joke - nearly 2 hours from ordering.

Food took nearly 1.5 hours. When it arrived was swimming in grease which I then had to bin and go out and buy something else. Absolutely disgusting, would definitely not recommend this place. I would be so ashamed to serve that to anyone. 0/0 wouldn't even rate this a 1 if I could.

Terrible..confirmed an order to be vegetarian 4 times and ended up with meat in! when i rang they said they were too busy to sort and were happy to leave me with no vegetarian food and no refund! after much hassle we eventually got replacement 45 mins later with no apology and it wasnt very nice anyway!

Our go to Chinese. Just avoid the Kung Po which seems to have a huge amount of cashews.

Waited over 2 hours, called again and again wondering where the food was. I was told over the phone it was on its way but never arrived. Later cancelled it because did not want to be charged for a waiting 2 hours and no outcome. VERY unimpressed.

AVOID! We've tried this place twice to make sure it's not a fluke. Satay? Great! Starters? Decent. Mains? Forget it. No matter how divergent your meals, they arrive as through they've been cooked in the same wok... Same colour, flavour, etc. Never any sauce as well. DRY! Don't do it.

Order from here a lot over the years and have never once had a bad meal. After trying 99% of the other Chinese takeaways in Norwich I think it is one of the best. Staff are always very friendly too
