Worst Chinese I have ever had in my life.

Tried once and won't make that mistake again. The portions were tiny, the food had more juice and sauce than anything else in it, some ingredients tasted funny (and my runs later suggest there was a reason for it), and it was overall not good at all. Rice was a juicy mess with disgusting fatty pieces of pork in it, made my stomach turn, and shredded beef was barely visible in the container, a child's portion for a full price. Very disappointing.

Never Again ! Ordered a delivery meal which included Beef Curry and Chicken in Black Bean Sauce plus other stuff chicken balls, ribs, chips etc The Beef Curry was lumps of fat in cooking oil, the Chicken in the Black Bean Sauce was slimy. Took the meal back to complain but nothing but excuses from the owner, no refund nothing. £40.60 down the drain

Never Again !! Ordered a delivery for two on Sunday Night 11/08/24 had the starter no problem, opened the mains Beef Curry / Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Chicken Balls The Beef Curry was full of fat and we could not identify any beef, The Chicken in Black Bean was not Chicken but a slimey mess. Took the meal back this evening when they opened at 5.10pm and complained to the woman owner, she admitted she gave us Mushroom Curry instead of beef and explained it was her fault the meal was fatty, I then asked about the Chicken in Black Bean and she went in the back to check her computer returning saying she gave us Beef in Black Bean with Oyster Sauce, words followed and she offered me another meal which I refused, I then suggested compensation or refund but she refused, long story but “her agents” take the card payments ?? Eventually I walked out telling her we would never come back for such disgusting food and that she could stick the £40 plus pound where the sun don’t shine 🤮

Cold. Rubbery noodles .greasy chicken balls..never again

If you like a lot of salt on everything this is for you. Every dish is salty ,blame the cook not the bloke ar reception, very friendly, go further down the rd to where canary is lot better than a mouth full of salt

The food was absolutely horrible I had a few mouthfuls and had to throw the rest away, the bbq sauce tasted like dirty oil it smelt disgusting also the noodles were really dry and also had a dirty taste the chicken balls were really hard on the outside and sludgy in the middle and the chips were undercooked will definitely not be ordering from here again it’s a joke considering we gave them a tip when they brought the food really disappointed

Where do I start I ordered food from here and the kung po chicken tastes like it’s been put through a dishwasher the salt and pepper chips was soggy like a women’s tampon on a night out and the house special I can’t put in to words how bad that was I’ve been sick 3 time with in the space of 40 mins horrible food. DO NOT EAT HERE

I ordered sweet and sour pork balls and boiled rice which is my usual. Just the right amount of food for my appetite. They had run out of pork balls on my order so the cook included a chicken ball which I didn`t mind. Very delicious.

Not as good as it used to be and I’m confused by the chips; I’m sure they used cheap frozen chips so they tasted stale and were soggy

Bought two portions of soup and battered prawns. Tasted of polystyrene due to the containers they came in. Had to chuck it away. Seemed expensive at £16.10 too. Battered prawns were OK though.

Help YOUR BASKET 1x Chicken With Cashew Nuts 腰果鸡. 6.60 1× Singapore Chow Mein EL. 6.60 3 x Plain Chow Mein FEE. 14.70 1x Spring Roll (1) 春. 2.90 2× Crispy Seaweed. 9.00 1x Beef +Chicken Chow Mein (NEW) # ＋鸡面. 7.10 1x Egg Fried Rice 蛋炒饭. 3.80 Sub Total 50.70 The noodles smelt and looked burnt. The chicken did not taste right. The only good but if the order was the seaweed! When contacted, via Big Foodie, they offered a 10% voucher off our next order. Even with us supplying Big Foodie pictures of the food. We offered to have them collect the food, but not interested. Poor customer service.

Ordered for delivery on food hub the place accepted the order and the money god taken, they waited 30 minutes after accepting the order and then we got a message from food hub saying the place is close. Ordered at 8.44pm and it says on god they close at 10pm what a joke 😂

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I don’t normally leave reviews but this has to be done. The food was disgusting. It had such a strong dirty aftertaste that tasted like a mixture of bad oil and salt. We had a couple of mouthfuls and had to bin the rest. Worst Chinese we’ve ever had. Such a disappointment. I am sorry to say that my takeaway was extremely disappointing. The food arrived 20 minutes later than stated and was barely above warm in temperature. The Thai Red Curry had no spice in it and resembled little to what it should have tasted like. The spring roll was soggy with minimal filling. I feel I have wasted my money and time using this establishment and will not be using it again

Well where do I start! I ordered some food and it all had a very bad oil after taste so I rang the restaurant to say the food wasn’t good ‘well what do you want?’ When I said a refund she was so incredibly rude to me telling me the oil is fresh over and over again. Great well my food taste like oil so I cannot eat it. She muttered something under her breath and then hung up on me. Completely and utterly rude. If you’re sick of people asking for refunds maybe you should listen and realise there’s something wrong with the food. DON’T order from here because you’ll just be bitterly disappointed.

The food was rancid after a extremely long wait for delivery it was delivered the delivery driver just walked off without giving me my change, the food was terrible uncooked and the chicken balls had a unusual taste that can only be described as fishy the sauce smelt of vinegar it when in the bin shortly after the first mouthful I would avoid this resurant in future and maybe a vist from environmental health would be described with tge under cooked chicken being served to customers

Very poor. Waited an hour for the food. It was cold when it arrived and the prawns in the chow mein still had their shell on.

absolutely vile. Phoned the restaurant to say i wanted a refund for them to say that’s fine we just want the food back. It was then collected around 1 hour later 2 1/2 hours later they they decided to call me back to say because some rice & chips was missing which was on my plate which went in to the bin as I didn’t expect them to be awkward and want the food back. All the meat dishes hadn’t been touched as I called instantly as soon as it arrived! Absolutely disgusting customer service & horrific food they’re serving & to make it worse just a 3star rating. How they’re still open I will never know. just to top it off I had a hair in my food to go in to the shop to witness no hair nets was being worn & all underwear was out and not washing her hands touching absolutely everything. Disgusting.

Ordered a duck chow mein. Only got about 3 little slices of duck and I had loads of onions which were raw! The noodles were plain and tasteless. Had to add the bbq sauce from my ribs which were also plain and tasteless. Not coming here again, everything went in the bin.

DON'T ORDER A MUSHROOM CURRY FROM THIS PLACE. It's not even worth the one star, but couldn't leave feedback otherwise. I can safely say that the mushroom curry that we ordered from this take away, was the worst that we have ever had from a take away. It took over an hour to be delivered, and when we dished it up, the smell hit us first, absolutely awful, didn't smell like any curry we've ever had, and when we tried to eat it, well..., it tasted absolutely horrible, it made us feel sick. We threw it in the bin, it was simply inedible. When we phoned to tell them, all they could say was that they don't know why it tastes like that. Didn't apologise and didn't even offer to replace it or anything. NOW WE REMEMBER WHY WE STOPPED GOING TO THAT TAKE AWAY.......

Waited over a hour and half for delivery it finally turned up cold and a very small soggy bag of chips the food tasted awful and our prawn crackers was missing .I won't be ordering from here again

The worst and most disgusting food to ever cross my lips. Watery, bland and 2 pieces of chicken in a chicken dish... Really? Don't order from here, it is disgusting. The gentlemen on the phone was very helpful however, and did accept the food back for a full refund.

Worst chinese I have ever had the misfortune to taste special fried rice was large but same as everything else soggy veg 1 piece of chicken I tiny slice of pork all floating in water. Might has well been vegetarian. Tasteless and the salt and chilli King prawns were inedible. Absolutely rank...put everything in the bin.. amazing prawn crackers though !!!!!

Classic, open late and good food also extremely underrated

I ordered online via the website, paid via card, my order was accepted and the tracking said 45 mins to delivery. 1.5 hours later after trying to call many times with no answer, my husband drove to the restaurant to find it closed! We have used this take away for anout 7 years and it has gone from amazing to really below par. This is the final straw for us. A big disappointment for father's day treat! I'm hoping I get a refund!!

The quality really wasn’t that great, but it really wasn’t that expensive either so I guess I got what I paid for. The duck fried rice should be called wet slimy duck skin rice. There was no lemon sauce with my lemon chicken. The food arrived unapologetically an hour late. I’ve ordered from Dragon Palace and Dragon City recently... both of which were better.

Ordered delivery with 1.5 hours notice of time wanted it delivered, 20 minutes after delivery time I rang and was told it's still being cooked. It eventually turned up 50 minutes late. When dished up was cold. All went in bin. Never again!!

Cant fault them, worked throughout lock down and i think for most of it they had been the only Chinese open in Norwich! Really pleased with the polite service I've had and great food, we've had to wait longer but i'm not surprised. Our last order which has just been delivered is as good as always with a respectful delivery person too boot! Thank you :)

If I could give it less than 1 I could , food took over 2 hours to arrive which wasn’t a problem , most of the food was cold , bbq sauce was like water , nothing tasted nice and top it all off spent over £30 for no free crackers

One star because I can’t give them any less! The worst customer service and food I have ever had! Ordered online for delivery 2.5 hours later still no delivery, tried to call and was repeatedly unable to get through. Fortunately we live close so sent my partner round to find out what was going on. They started cooking our food only because he showed up to complain, all they could offer us was £1 back for the delivery fee and a packet of prawn crackers (which are free with orders anyway!). My partner returned home with the food which was also wrong! Also pans are not being cleaned properly as what was supposed to be egg fried rice had chunks of beef in it. Infuriated I returned to the establishment to raise my complaint and ask for a refund and was met with an old man who simply didn’t have any time for me and walked away without actually speaking to me! He then returned and said I could only have my money back if we returned the food! Given that we’d been waiting so long my partner had eaten some of it and they still wanted the food back! Whilst waiting for my partner to return the food a young man who I assume works more of behalf of bigfoodie then the restaurant took the time to listen to my complaint and explained that it’s just one woman cooking and the man just takes the orders and does as his wife (the cook) orders him to! They cannot handle any more then one order at a time and I asked why they remained open and the young man was unable to answer and just said he honestly didn’t know! Fortunately he did issue me a refund and my complaint is not against him but the couple who own the restaurant and have no regard for their customers or general decency towards me as a fellow human! I have used this restaurant during normal times and I wouldn’t of had a bad word to say until today, they have truly lost a regular customer of 5 years because they couldn’t take the time of day to talk to me and completely disregarded me as a customer!

Don’t order from them if you expect it to turn up on time or at all. 1 hour delivery and 2 1/2 hours later and they never turned up. Now have to chase up a refund because I paid with a card lol

Just got chinese from here the pancake roll was undercooked the chips crispy chilli beef and chow main was burnt you could smell it burnt as soon as opened the most disgusting thing I eaten and I am 4 months pregnant has made me feel really sick

Ordered from this takeaway online as it was on Big Foodie (and you can trust all takeaways on there right...) and didn't think anything more of it. It didn't arrive on time but it wasn't far off 50 minutes (and, in this storm Dennis, I was rather impressed with the service). The food tasted like your average Chinese, quite nice, but everything was swimming in grease! This probably should have been a red flag for us, but I was willing to take a gamble as the Chinese was quite expensive in the first place- so I expected good quality food! The chicken balls were soggy due to the amount of grease in the bottom and not crispy how I prefer them- there wasn't much chicken in them either and these were mostly composed of batter. The noodles tasted nice, but again were very, very greasy and left a great deal of residue on the plate- which was quite gross. The Crispy beef, however, was lovely. The trouble is, my poor boyfriend was sick within an hour of eating the food (chundering pretty damn hard), and I've had a nasty stomach ache after eating this. It doesn't take a genius to realise we'd had a dodgy takeaway. Unfortunately won't use this Chinese again, which is a shame as it is one of the only ones which delivers to our area. :(

Were quoted 45 minutes for delivery waited 1.5 hours person on phone was incapable of telling me if my order had actually been sent out for delivery or not but insisted that all orders had been sent out for delivery despite not checking if they actually had my order in the first place! Used to love this takeaway but will be avoiding from now!

We ordered 2 portions of chicken bites and they just ARE rubber and we called up to get new portions after receiving the second try they are still rubbery also they are dry and uneatable. Would not recommend the place but feel free I feel like it was a waste of money.

Ordered a meal which was completely wrong. When I phoned, they were completely and totally disrespectful and rude. Wouldn't recommend.

We ordered a meal for three, we got a meal for two and the order was totally wrong. I had to pay for all 3, which was not right. Lost a customer.

Guy I spoke to on the phone was totally clueless and messed up my order. I would have got more sense from some road kill

The meal I had this evening was the first from this Chinese - comments as follows:- 1. The meal was delivered 20 minutes earlier than time ordered for. Not the end of the world, but the time it was ordered for was the time we would have been ready to eat. 2. The meat in each of the dishes ordered looked and tasted like pre-formed. Whatever it was, it wasn’t good. 3. The sauces, both sweet and sour and curry, were very watery. 4. complimentary prawn crackers were provided - lovely and crisp, but tasteless. 5. Overall, a very disappointing meal. I definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Small king prawns - too much bread crumbs.

Ingredients: salt, salt, salt and more salt. I have been before and it was fine but never again! My tongue has dried up the way a slug would.

I am absolutely appalled we were sent the wrong food completely and then when we were asked for a refund we were told it was our fault. We ordered chips, spareribs, crispy chilli chicken, aromatic crispy duck and prawn crackers. That order came to £22.50. We received the crispy duck which was pretty much just fat and with sweet-and-sour sauce instead of plum sauce. The chips which were basically brown. The prawn crackers were stale. Everything tasted reheated and we are fuming with the service. DO NOT USE THIS ‘TAKE AWAY’! Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere!!!

Just had the house special curry , with egg fried rice. My wife had crisby chilli beef and fried rice. The food was absolutely delicious and very good value for money. Can honestly say we have found our chinese takaway after trying loads in Norwich.

I've now had 4 meals from this place during the past couple of months. I have ordered: King Prawn Cantonese Chow Mein (menu item 53) Vegetarian Spring Roll (menu item 4) Singapore Chow Mein (menu item 46) Crispy Shredded Beef (menu item 104) cooked with sweet chili sauce Now I've had my fair share of chinese food, both in restaurants and take away. I can honestly say this is the best chinese I have ever had food from

use this one all the time. great food and service.customer service is great. never had to wait more than 30 minuutes for it to 33be delivered.

La comida era promedio, pero incluso si hubiera sido increíble toda la experiencia fue arruinado por la falta de atención al cliente o examen básico. Personal no se disculpó por el mal servicio y ni siquiera te molestes tratando de justificar el mal servicio.Ordenar comida sencilla pero tenía que comprobar continuamente dónde estaba con constante se encuentra a la hora que estaba tomando. Personal prometió un reembolso a llamar y decir porque finalmente acepté la comida que puedo darme un reembolso... Es una pena que no podía llamarme para informarme que mi comida estaba en primer lugar. Otro ejemplo de los negocios, a interesarse en tomar su dinero y ofrecer un servicio al cliente ceroSi quieres evitar una velada con un gran servicio y comida...
