The Rose Pub & Deli in Norwich

Went to watch my brothers band play here. Lovely old fashioned corner pub. Comfy with a decent range of beers. Dog friendly. Great Pizza menu.

Great deli,small seating outside area. Beer fridge and good range of cask & Keg ales. Pizzas are available.

Visited the Rose as we had travelled to Norwich to see some friends - what a gem of a local! Amazing beer selection, with exceptional, knowledgeable bar staff, dogs everywhere and a charcuterie selection to boot! I am envious my friends have this amazing little pub on their door step, a great pub doesn't need to sell £15 pints of hand crafted beer and an interior filled with marble tables and filament light bulbs, just great food, beer and staff done very well. Nothing was too much for these guys, the pub quiz was in full swing and it was just a delight!

It's one of the best pubs in Norwich! Fantastic choice of ale and beer. They currently do pizzas, which look fantastic and have a great atmosphere about the place. Friendly service every time I pop in for a pint. And great value for money.

Amazing selection of beers, staff are brilliant especially Charlie who is incredible and shows that she loves the pub and everyone who joins them to enjoy their awesome pub everyday. Just brilliant, come and visit them, they are amazing x

If I could give it 6 stars I would , probably the nicest and definitely the hottest pizza i have had ever , definitely deserves accolades for the pizza , we will be back

A short walk from the city centre this popular pub usually features an interesting range of cask and keg ales. They also have an established a reputation for their tap take overs. A selection of freshly made savoury and sweet pizzas served until 20.30. Recent addition to the food offering is to design your own cheese board from the selection available on the deli cold counter. Ask for a take away for the bits you don't eat.

Found on the off chance as looking for food on match day and most pubs were home supporters only, so what a great, super friendly pub this is. We had pizza's and these were excellent and tried a few draft ales. The staff all made us feel realy welcome and we will definatly come back and would recommend to anyone. Even my 7 old was made to feel realy welcome and what a great idea to have a bowl of lollys on the bar. Great staff, great food, great ales, great atmosphere what more can I say.

The cocktails are just to die for!!!!! I didn’t like the pizza completely as the dough tasted a bit bitter I guess it was over cooked or burnt but the cocktails were sth else! I will be back for cocktalis

Lovely pub but be aware that they stop serving food at 8.45 pm.

We headed here on a Friday evening, great pizza, wide selection of beers both in the fridge and on tap. Great little VIP card to reward repeat food orders Looking forward to returning soon.

Lovely spot. Great variety of beers on tap and in cans. Especially pale ales and some low/no stuff. Board games, dogs and an eclectic bunch of punters. Nice

Always an excellent range of beers to choose from, the pizzas are incredible, creating your own cheeseboard is also an excellent addition and I love going here before Norwich games.

No atmosphere. 8.50 for a pint that is a local ipa which ive had in other pubs for 5.50. Miserable staff that make you feel like your putting them out by asking for a pint. This place never improves

Its a good pub, we tried to go back the following day but it was closed at about 4pm when it said opening at 3 on the door. We all went to the trafford instead which was open. Edited to a five star from three as we tried to go there on a sunday when its closed. I checked google maps timeline and we were waiting like plonkers outside for about 30 mins. So it is a great pub but just not open sunday or monday. Sorry for the initial 3 stars, that was my stupid error.

Consistently one of the best line ups of cask & keg beer in the city alongside delicious Pizzas and that are served every day, unlike many places that only serve on busy days. A fantastic pub 😊

Great real ale pub with enough to excite most lager folk. Dog friendly with tables booked for the purpose. Central enough to Norwich to make it universally accessible. From just one visit : pizza choices goid but both undercooked. Clientele socially respectable tending to middle class. Bar billiards - deserves extra points for such. Decoration in the modern style well executed but not amazing. Could do with changing the rusty rad in the gents. Definitely a place worthy of a number of revisits. 'Beers coming up', behind the bar a great positive. Overall loved it and will return

Great beer choice and interesting music. Busy when we visited, which was great to see, but as a result, it was a little loud for conversation.

We didn't stay long but had a good range of beers, staff were pleasant and the music was decent and not overbearing (loud enough to hear but still able to talk without raised voices)

Great pub, lovely pizzas and garlic bread, lots of vegan options. Staff are very friendly, bar billiards and board games, and they play great music too. Close to city centre shops, and the football ground.

Very friendly staff. Ordering drinks via text worked very well. If we hadn't had lunch,we would have tried their new meat platter. It looked really good and very appetising.

Had a fantastic pizza here this week - as close to a real Italian as you can possibly get, certainly more genuine than the chain pizza places thats for sure. Supplemented with a superb selection of beers on keg, cask and cans/bottles in the fridge. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a cracking pizza and top notch booze!

What a fantastic selection of beer, variety of regulars, superb hosts in Dawn and Carl, and, if ever you wanted a perfect example of a good pub quiz evening, try them out on a Thursday night.....hilarious!

Decent pub close to the city centre with pleasnt helpful staff. Good selection of of both cask and Keg beers, ales, Perry and cider. The strength range from a pleasant afternoon drink to messy Saturday night. They also serve a selection of bar meals, burgers and cury etc, although I've never tried triem, I'm sure they are equally as nice as the beers

Friendly staff and other customers. Looks far nicer than it did a few years ago. I miss the pool table though.
