I discovered this place while visiting some friends that live in Hitchin. We wanted ice cream and found this nice little place. Tables and chairs in the front reminded us of our hometown cafe terrazas in Spain. The gelato was really good, and best of all, all the flavours they had at the time were gluten free! 100% recommend this place and I will be coming back next time I'm in Hitchin.

We really love the tacos here. The birria ones in particular with the dipping juices are spectacular. Burritos and side dishes were also delicious and everything is graded in spice so you can find your perfect level. Drinks options are also great. No Mexican Coca Cola when we went but plenty of other nice options.

Food was OK, but the service was painfully slow (over an hour waiting for food) and they weren't even that busy. So bad that the table next to us kicked up a fuss and refused to pay for the drinks they had while waiting. It's also not particularly cheap either. Won't be going back.

First, the waitress offered to “order for us” and make it an omakase style. That’s not what I wanted. Although I was given the option to order more when they served all the things they picked, I couldn’t order all that I wanted to eat because I didn’t want to delay everyone else. I came here for a buffet but I wasn’t given the chance to order what I liked. With that said, the majority of the dishes aren’t worth trying anyway. The fried rice is good. The shredded cucumbers and spring onions is also good. Everything else? Not so much. The chicken in the first dish (deep fried chicken?) was stinky! I really wanted to spit it out but I couldn’t do that on a table. Very disgusting. And later I had two dishes where the meat carried a dishwashing liquid flavour. The pancake in the duck dish tastes dry and powdery. I wonder how it became like that. The duck and the sauce were quite different from the classic Peking duck. And the classic is called classic for a good reason. The wontons had very thick skins and the soup was very salty. I would advise the chef to just buy some frozen ones and boil them in plain water instead of making bad wontons. It is very sad when you have so many things on the menu but in the end I had to fill my stomach with fried rice. Well, at least the fried rice was good.

I ordered two courses, chicken satay and Nasi Goreng the chicken satay was acceptable and in fact very nice the Nasi Goreng however which was chicken and prawn contained two prawns and a whole busload of undercooked chicken which was actually pink in the middle. I ate 4 to 5 forkfuls of rice and the prawns before I realised that the chicken was in fact barely cooked. I rejected the meal with none of the chicken and 90% of the rice uneaten , I really don’t need salmonella. The waitress took the plates and when I went to pay was offered a 10% discount. No negotiation just sorry the meal was inedible, however you still need to pay. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant if you don’t want food poisoning.

We booked for a family lunch following a significant Wedding Anniversary Celebration the previous day. A massive disappointment. Dreadful service, some meals so slow coming out that others had finished theirs by the time they came out. 2 meals cold and one Guest couldn’t eat theirs. A piece of broccoli looked eaten as only stalk on plate. Gave up on puddings. Will never go back for lunch. Spoilt the end of a wonderful weekend.
