Wonderful Saturday evening meal. Tasty food and quality service without undue haste or pressure. If only we lived closer!

Service and ambience really good. Made to feel welcome. I chose the lamb special which was truly awful - overcooked slices and gristly tough. It was replaced without any issue and the chicken schnitzel was good. My partner had hake which was also good. Deserts excellent. Pricey but would have been good value - hard to understand how the lamb was allowed out of the kitchen.

I attended with a large party of 8 for a celebration; from the reservations team (via email) to the waitresses and waiters, I could not fault the excellent service. They were particularly attentive which was especially impressive given we were a large party, also notably friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely - not overly fancy, just real, hearty, good food. So tasty and a great variety of options! 10/10 experience for both food and service!

First time there and we were not disappointed. The menu has a decent choice, and the wine list has a good variety. Our waitress Muriel gave us excellent service and wine advice and was very adept. She was efficient, polite and friendly, but not overbearing like some waiters can be. Overall a really good evening and cracking service.

Excellent food, excellent service, big shout out to Jodie who served us for being exactly the right mix of professional, observant and super funny! The smoked haddock and shepherds pie are highly recommended (and be sure to ask Jodie for her specialty Irish coffee, second to none)

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and weren't disappointed. We were warmly wlecomed, with a "Happy Anniversary" which set the tone for an extremely pleasant visit. Knowledgable and friendly staff helped us select our meals, which were from a fairly limited menu (not in a bad way) and were absolutely delicious. Our meals arrived in good time and the portion sizes were spot on. Not too much, not not too little. We will definately be visiting again.

Mothers day meal out, starters of lobster bisque with cod cheeks looked extremely underwhelming, and was inedible due to the sheer amount of salt added - us Asians LOVE salt, but even for us, it was completely horrible. The server said the recipe has never changed - but does the chef even taste the food? Anyone with half a palate will tell you that is over salted. Offered other starters - much better. Mains were disappointing - steak tough and chewy, bacon chop not really distinguishable as it looked like a mess on a plate. desserts okay. waiter really likes to put empty trays under his armpit, not a good look.
