A good bacon butty and very good apple pie and custard.

Staff very friendly. I popped in for a takeaway on the way to the horse yard. Bacon sandwich was lovely & with the tea i was given the option of tea bag to be left in, great as i like builder's tea. Overall a great visit.

Lovely little caffe, with lots of parking around. The full breakfast with coffee was 10£.

I go to the cafe with a friend most of the time or family with a small dog for breakfast. It's dog friendly cafe. Staffs are so lovely, foods are delicious especially eggs!! Service there is excellent. It's very cozy and calm in there. They don't rush you like a lot of places do. It's one the gem in Knebworth. I love that place!!

Fantastic breakfast. Sausages are better than most other cafes (which is a deal breaker for me), eggs are superb, in fact it was all lovely!

Paid £6 for a tuna panini, pretty long wait time and skimped out on the fillings massively. It’s a real shame as used to visit often and was well priced and large portions.

Friendly but sadly eggs white not cooked runny.sausages over done and just not nice. Staff eating behind hatch. Just sit at a table! Not wow factor sadly with so many good quality breakfasts around nowadays. Gutted

The food is of a higher standard than that of more expensive cafés in the area. Service is friendly to the point of feeling they are glad you are there. I will be back again and again.

Lovely freshly-cooked food, fast service, and friendly staff. Seating indoors and outside. Would highly recommend.

Attended today with my son had a lovely meal, the service was great and everyone was warm and welcoming a fantastic place to eat the best in the area.

Popped in on a cold January morning and their 'winter warmer' toasted tea cakes and a cuppa hit the spot!

Ideally I would like a larger selection of cakes, but the service is super friendly, the cheesecake and coffee are lovely and they open really early so I can visit on a ride before work!

Popped in there & had offer of Tea Cake & Cup of tea all for I think it was £2.75! Great mug of tasty tea & yummy tea cake! Staff all lovely & friendly! Place was lovely & clean, noticed as soon as someone went table sprayed & cleaned ready for next person. Highly recommend I will be back for more! As I noticed lovely cakes in there that need tasting!😋

First time here, dropped bike off at Saunders motorcycles then went for breakfast and wasn't disappointed, we had an omelette each with chips and salad and even the dog ate we bought her a sausage 😀 staff were great, polite and chatty, will be back.

They do a brilliant full English breakfast. Totally recommend the food, service and ambience. They cater well for large groups as in this case I was with a load of blokes from church.

Toasted bacon sandwich a cup of tea and a chocolate muffin, absolutely delicious while waiting for my motorcycle to be MOT"d. Bike passed and tea was great. A lovely atmosphere with a mix of town walkers good natured builders and shoppers. They do everything you would expect from a Caffe, Will deffo go again.

My first time in this cafe and the food was delicious. What I call ‘proper sausages’ and nice bacon. Friendly Staff too.

My wife and I popped in for a coffee and snack while visiting Knebworth. The service was quick and the food very nice. The carrot cake was amazing. I would of given this review 5 stars, but we over heard the manager shouting at one of his employees, not very professional, everybody in the restaurant started to look at each other in disbelief.

I arranged to meet a friend here for a chat and a coffee at 1100. It was very busy. Yes its a builders/tradesmen cafe but seems to do good food and good prices. It’s clean and tidy. I had a vegetarian breakfast and very tasty. My mate had a latte and me a tea and change from £10 (not bad)

I visited 3 weeks ago at 3.30pm for a takeaway coffee as I had a train to catch! I was told that they had already started to clean the coffee machine, I said that you close at 4pm? They then made me a coffee (not great!)I went back today but 10 mins earlier and yet again the coffee machine was cleaned!! They refused to make me a coffee! I shook my head and walked out, as I got to the front door the chef shouted that he would make me a coffee! Is it any wonder that small businesses are closing when some decide to do as they please rather than as they advertise?

Brilliant place with the best Mocha in the village and great meals!Been there quite a few times and never been disappointed whether I had a simple bacon sandwich or a burger...and I'm not into burgers usually but over there it's exceptional!Highly recommended to anyone!!!

The food is delicious. The staff are friendly, kind and hardworking. The atmosphere is welcoming and it was busy today too. What a lovely place! We'll definately be back soon.

Loved the salad bar which meant we weren’t stuck with the usual sandwich, pastry and cake options. Hot options were nice too. Definitely recommend.

Great cafe, everything is good fresh to order, the choice is great and the Mega Breakfast is superb! Gluten Free options and dairy free milk also available for their great coffees. This place is a must!

We were en route to a funeral at the nearby crematorium, on 20 March, and were running early, but in need of sustenance. With no knowledge of the area, we chanced upon Caffe Vero - the main priority was a loo for my 87 year old mother, which they have and it is clean and functional and accessible.With that task out of the way, we settled down to coffee and were seduced by the offer ot toasted teacakes. Jam, rather than butter, was not a problem and they were lush and just the job.The hosts were friendly without being interfering and nothing was too much trouble.Recommend highly.

My wife was in a rebellious mood having been dieting for months. Her outlet was to tuck into a proper English Breakfast with toast & a piping hot mug of tea. This place won’t let anyone down. It was brilliant as usual supported by the free to read red top tabloids available on the tables. Oh yes, friendly efficient service appreciated as always.,

Always have a good breakfast or lunch in here. Some of the food appears to be sourced from the local butcher and the portions are always good.The food isnt greasy either, who wants a mountain of coleslaw with their sandwich? (Coasters).Very reasonably priced too.

Tough job for Caffe Vero because it’s up against the brilliant Coasters around the corner but it’s clearly trying hard to provide what the customer wants.We unashamedly visited because Coasters is closed on Mondays and I went for the usual full English but asked for the sausage to be well done - it was sliced down the middle and cooked flat, perfect.Unfortunately the quality of the food isn’t as good as it could be, cheap caff style bacon and eggs and no option of white pudding, our toast was burnt on one side as well.I’d come back if there was nowhere else open but it needs to up it’s game a little bit for me.

I did say I wouldn't step into this cafe again but I was hungry and coasters was closed still dirty chef was rude towards the waitress I had poached eggs tasted fine I said they were the best poached eggs I've had for a while but that's before I found out that he cooks them 3 days in advance and keeps them on ice I don't like that for hygiene reasons waitress picked up a cigarette butt off floor didn't see her wash hands after

Quick service. Nice fresh roll. Nice stafff. Free parking outside. My 6 year old grandson really enjoyed his late breakfast/ early lunch.

Have eaten here twice now. Love the ingredients, which I understand they get from the local butcher. Sausages and mushrooms taste particularly nice. We went for the workmans breakfast, there is plenty of food so you won't go hungry. Staff are really nice and pleasant, I left my change when I came here last and the staff member chased after me to give me my money which I think says a lot about this place. If your driving by and want some nice local cafe style food this is the place to go. They are closed on Sundays, parking outside is free.

This is one of my local cafes and I visit quite regularly. The breakfast in here is brilliant! Service is always good, nice friendly staff in there, never a huge waiting time for a table and good quality ingredients. An english breakfast with tea and toast for £5!? Bargain.

Used this spot for a few times now and hear it has had a bit of a refurbishment recently. It provides a real good tasty breakfast of varying options. Staff are always very pleasant and food delivered promptly. Will go back.

Today was my first visit to here and definitely NOT my last! The staff are very friendly and all smiling unlike other cafes in the area..... Great food and lots of choice Yet not Pricey! Will definately be revisiting!!

After an early start and long journey my wife was virtually chewing her arm by 2.55pm today so what a relief to find a decent cafe still open and cooking still until 3pm (closing fully by 4pm) We had a "Workers Breakfast" with a proper sausage not the cheap catering type! & a special tasty salad. Washed down with a large proper mug of tea. This kept us going for another 5 hours.

Was passing through Knebworth and needed a spot of lunch. All tables outside were busy, a good sign generally when you don't know the area and I was not disappointedFriendly service with a tasty fry up with all the essentials including tinned toms and hash brownsCheap too!

Really good little cafe. Food was really good, staff friendly. Looked nice and clean ,the only thing was that the high chair was a bit grubby but overall really good cafe.

It's always nice to have a decent English breakfast, this one didn't disappoint. Friendly service and a reasonable price in clean surroundings made the experience enjoyable and set us up for a long day ahead.

Food was great and staff were brilliant with my young granddaughter who obviously got bored quite quickly while we were eating. She kept coming back to her food but kept wandering.

I go here a couple of times a week for business meetings or catch up with friends or with the family. It's very friendly and the food is lovely. They even did me brunch today on my super extreme clean living plan. Perfect poached eggs, smoked salmon and green tea.

Staying at a friends in Knebworth and decided to go for brunch. The other café around (coasters) was too busy and we couldn't get a table so thought we would try this place! Wasn't too friendly and the food was disappointing. Personally, if you're around the Knebworth area or passing through I would stick with Coasters and if there is a wait, wait!

Visited recently and received a warm welcome and enjoyed the full English breakfast, food tasty and portions fine too. Will return again just a shame it's not my local cafe.

This is a nice, simple low cost cafe. But with some well cooked specials. Took elderly parents and young child for lunch while visiting Knebworth. They really enjoyed it. I think a good test of any chef is how they poach an egg. Well it was perfection.

Attended this café as the other café in Knebworth was exceptionally busy. The food is poor in comparison (quality and quantity). Will not attend again

I've lived in Knebworth for over 10 year, Caffe Vero is THE BEST place to eat in Knebworth. Arif and his staff are friendly, the food is fresh and hot, and the premises are clean and tidy. Being a cyclist I visit many cafes/coffee shops, this place serves the best coffee in a 30 mile radious.

Visited a couple of times and always found the staff friendly and helpful. The menu is what has become the "standard" for this type of establishment offering a good choice of dishes from "All Day Breakfasts" to Lasagne etc., all reasonably priced and well prepared.

I moved to Knebworth 3 months ago and have to say thank goodness there is a decent cafe for lunch in the area instead of travelling out of the village! I decided to have the bagel with smoked salmon which was absolutely scrumptious and having young children I felt the staff were extremely accommodating towards them. Will definitely make this my usual haunt with my mummy friends!

Best poached eggs I've ever had! Been to plenty of cafes and can honestly say the poached egg with salmon breakfast i had here has been the best. Will definitely be returning.

Don't ever go here staff were rude cafe really dirty I had a chicken burger tasted like cardboard I asked for onion rings a mumble of we aren't got any was the reply if I was you go to coasters around the corner
