Takeaway was amazing, a little busy and a queue for food but there’s totally a reason for it. Beautifully moist chicken wings and strips which are cooked crispy on the outside enough to coat the delicious sauces. I’m not sure what it is about Chicken George but if Breaking Bad did chicken, it would be what these guys do!

One to avoid if you want value for your money. Ordered and items were missing, raised with driver and he said to call store. Despite raising the issue with delivery driver store have said that all items were there. So I have paid for food that o haven’t received - so one to avoid if you don’t want money stolen. Food that did arrive was only OK. Chicken cold and tiny portion of family chips. Really poor value even before you factor in the missing items.

It's not like me to eat fast food . But i was in for a good surprise . Its only chicken . so i choose a chicken burger with a maple topping on it . the chicken was large piece of chicken which was very tasty . had the meal deal which came with a can of drink , not the tap stuff. would i go back yes yes .. Also saw the chicken pieces with bone , which looked very large , Next time

Very very disappointed in the values of this company. My daughter and her 2 friends went today for the £4.99 lunch. They ordered the £4.99 meal and when they got the bill it was £16.00 plus each. They said it was not right but the lady said it was. They were too embarrassed to disagree and paid the bill. There is no way they could have eaten that amount of food and left feeling very upset. I feel they were taken advantage of as even on the website what they were given would only have been £10.50. One of the other mums addressed it with a member if staff and they were rude and defensive. Very dishonest and lacking customer care. Told the owner was in Egypt. 😞

Our first visit didn't disappoint. Thank you for being so accommodating & bending over backwards to squeeze us in as a walk-in. We really appreciated it. Food was amazing and service was efficient and super friendly! This makes all the difference. We will definitely be back!

The food here is immaculate and the customer service is top tier! They are very polite and understanding I was served by grace and Megan they were understanding of the menu and gave multie recommendations I am very pleased with the service I have received I would recommend to visit as you will not be disappointed

Absolutely delicious food which was very nicely filling, there was all friendly staff working, our visit was nothing short of a great meal out all round.

Found this place on social media, was it worth the hour drive ? YES IT WAS… ques were busy for takeaway, we got seated by a lovley lady , food was fab, didn’t know what to order so had to order take out too!! Chicken burgers were good, the garlic fries were lush, the chicken fillet was tasty. Nice vibe . Lots of different flavour wings to try.

Wow what a great place saw this on rate my takeaway and Danny gave this place a 10/10 and I totally agree. The staff said we would have to wait 45 minutes for a table then we git a table in 10 minutes service was fantastic and friendy we was told about lunch time deals so we both had the chicken Mac with fries and.drinks and we had some wings with rubicon dressing on them all was amazing hot and very tasty and filling. My partner doesn't really do burgers but she said wow that tasted amazing well done guys we will be back again soon 😀

Chicken George is out the way for us but as we were heading to London we had to divert and try this place. Great vibe inside, brilliant selection of food. We had buffalo wings, honey bbq wings and strips and also mixed tater tots. It was all great, we were stuffed.

Have become quite the regular customer at Chicken George in Hitchin and I have to say that this is still the best fried chicken that if you've never tried, you need to come visit. Always greeted with a smile and the manager Hailey couldn'tbe anymore welcoming than she already is. Thought I'd have a look at the sit down area for the first time and again Hailey couldn't be more helpful or informative on what they offered in this area over the takeaway side. It's more relaxed, refined and had a real cozy feel about the place I ended up going for the El Chapo chicken strips and fries meal ( which is more than bang for your buck) with Gravy on the side. Absolutely phenomenal taste once again, cooked to perfection (the meat was juicy,succulent and tender and full of flavour as it always is) and more importantly was an as ever an absolute joy to eat. El chapo has some heat and can pack a punch to the novice of chilli lovers, it certainly gave my tongue a tantalising tasty tang. I always ask myself this question about any place i eat "Would I come again" ...... with chicken george you couldn't stop me! I even drove down from biggleswade on my way home to CG as needed some comfort food, and this is what chicken george does well. Staff are friendly very welcoming, again Hailey is always on point to help out and I would highly recommend that you pay a visit. This isnt plain old chicken , this is chicken for the people!

Served by a lovely lady, she was very helpful and made a few recommendations as wasn’t sure on what to chose as there is loads of different options. Choice of seat in or takeaway, Restaurant is very clean and had no issue getting a table. Food was decent size portion, looked amazing and tasted delicious Highly recommend
