Pop in for a couple of drinks, great atmosphere with banging music. Will pop back again.

Great bar in Hitchin..Shows most sports over a number of plasma screens. Bar staff are particularly friendly and engage with new customers and regulars equally👍🙂

Accused us of doing cocaine when all we did was sit down and get a drink, clearly rude to us because we’re young people. First and last time ever coming here again. Avoid if you’re under 50 LOL

Great sport. All sport available. BT and Sky. Large conservatory availble for functions. Good food freshly prepared by our chef. Superfast broadband.

Please avoid the landlord is rude, the atmosphere is like having a beer at the kennels.

Popped in for the first time last week and really enjoyed it. Although not visible at first entrance there are 6 hand pumps on a second bar at the rear of the pub. There was a great selection of mostly Oakham beers. The staff were very friendly and chatty, and the bar had good music and some table games too (Jenga was our favourite)

Fab little bar. Looks like a quaint old fashioned bar but feels very clean and modern. Went to a 50th birthday. Had a lovely back room and the gorgeous garden are. Everyone was so friendly. The food was excellent! Shame I don't live closer.

A great bar with a light and airy area to sit in. A great outside area that is covered. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. We had a function that was catered for by BBs and the food was amazing. I can definitely recommend this for anyone even though it isn't a huge venue

Waited here over 10 min to be served and people being served after approaching the bar after me, obviously regulars, moving to the area in a month but won’t return to here . Shame as if felt quite warm and welcoming when I first walked in

Nice enough inside, nice feature of a cask ale bar and on my visit the Oakham JHB was in top nick

Best bar in hitchin for sport and decent beers / ales

The staff at BB's have worked tirelessly to make the bar safe during Covid by introducing table service, going cashless, a check in book, hand sanitiser stations throughout and even going as far as installing an extra toilet facility to keep everyone safe. The atmosphere is always great whether you're just popping in for a drink or are there to watch sport (they have Sky, Amazon Prime and BT). there's also a huge selection of drinks and free Wi-Fi! To put it simply the best place to go for a drink in Hitchin.

Must say that this establishment is not a good place to go, the drinks taste funny, the staff well lest said about them the better, just in general please avoid the place, much better places around.

Such a great place to have drink and something to eat with family or friends. A lovely family atmosphere with impeccable service every single time I am there. A true credit to Hitchin Town centre :)

Fabulous homemade pie and scrumptious Sunday roast. Highly recommended.

Love this place, so welcoming good atmosphere. Proper pub. Feels more genuine than many and go out of their way for customers. Come here most sundays to watch football and made new mates.

Just wanted to thank Bob and Bernie for the amazing full English for myself and 12 other family members this morning - especially as it was only arranged yesterday evening . Everyone really enjoyed the food and the whole experience- thanks again

BBs is the DDs aka Dog's Doodahs If you like sport this is the place. Today footie and rugby both on at lunchtime and a packed bar with great atmosphere. There's a separate room at the back with TV leading to outdoor seating. Am thinking they may also do food although didn't see any on my visit. Top place 👍
