The best restaurants in King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

Nice and straightforward - you know what to expect. Great service, even though the place was full, inc couple of large groups.

We were coming out of Heacham wondering what to do for lunch when we stumbled across the unsigned carpark on the Heacham side of the traffic lights, there's a crossing to Norfolk Lavender . We had a lovely seafood salad from the specials board which was surprisingly good value for a tourist attraction.Gluten free bread was available with it and they were able to remove any onion (low fodmap required) . There's not much else open yet apart from the farm shop which had surprisingly few lavendar-related foods for sale.

Best fish and chip in town always go there on a Friday and polite staff and always happy to help. I would highly recommend x

Great service with a smile and good food

Rung and booked a table, gave them a contact number and when we arrived the restaurant was shut with no notice. Was a Saturday night so why take bookings if your not open we couldn't get a table anywhere else!

Newly taken over pub. The owner is very pleasant and the price is reasonable. Worth checking out

Absolutely discusting. The chefs that can't even cook a steak. It's apparently a steak house isn't it? This is not the 1st time we have had problems with middletons. We went out for my wife's birthday and she wanted a medium/well done steak. As we know that middletons can not manage to cook a medium so she aired on the side of caution. As you can see from the picture is was at best rare!. This place is a total joke and I would advise anyone who wants a good experience to 100% go elsewhere.. They can seen to find a good chef and lets be honest cooking a steak is hard Gordon Ramsey skilled is it?? Good luck if u do decide to go there! You have been warned!!

The service here was wonderful, the manager and staff all had smiles and were very welcoming. The food was awesome as well, 1st Indian restaurant I've ever been to and my 1st Indian food. Lovely range of spices to go with the bread, the chicken biryani was very tasty as well with the right mix of spices. My wife and I loved it. Highly recommend.

Food was really nice. Served by Lolly who was very friendly and kind.

Fried solid sausage tasted like chalk scrambled egg microwaved everything for sale inside de the only thing you didn’t want to pay for is the breakfast

First visit post refurbishment. Gardens are lovely and make a fabulous place to sit and enjoy a drink. I’m sure bakery is a great addition, bread is amazing and breakfast good value. However the menu is not what you expect from a local country pub. Food was nice but not usual ‘pub grub’ . Visited on first night and had planned to revisit Siri g our stay but decided against due to menu restrictions.

Tried to place a delivery order over the phone several times and got no answer. Went to restaurant only to find a notice on the door closed. An answer phone message would have been helpful and not wasted my time driving there.
