Great service, delicious fresh food and even catered for a vegan with ease which was much appreciated .

Very disappointed with how small the meat was and hardly any rice , not good for how much it cost

Online takeaway purchase via Just Eat. Original request not available; alternative offered by restaurant. Food was cold on arrival. Unable to identify aubergine in starter; yogurt not fresh. Plenty of tortilla, very little lamb in main; white rice with occasional piece of sweetcorn Whitebait - v large. more like sardines. Sauces - too much vinegar A disappointing experience. I rarely have takeaways and was looking forward to something different. I like and usually enjoy Turkish food but this experience was not what I had hoped for when ordering. I am unlikely to order again from here. The addition of both a 10% service charge and a delivery charge means it is not value for money either.

We went to Pera Grill as a previous visit in March was wonderful. We explained our previous experience and the waiter/owner explained that he did not arrive until after our last visit. The evening started very well to the extent that we showed the owner a photo of our previous starter and asked if it could be replicated. He very obligingly swapped one item from the hot mezze. All was going well until the main course confusion. What is aubergine what is yoghurt? One dish was to be on a bed of aubergine which we had confirmed would be baba ghanoush. It turned out to be yoghurt with a hint of aubergine. Not good for someone who doesn't eat dairy. It went from bad to worse to the extent that the owner hurled verbal abuse and threw food at my wife. It was all very embarrassing. He accused us of only turning up for a free meal. He demanded that we leave his restaurant and not pay. It was really something out of Faulty Towers. When we said that this should be reviewed on Trip Advisor he was not bothered as he said he has a 4.5 rating and nothing will make any difference. I agree that this one review may have very little difference and our likelihood of not returning will not impact the business. But be warned of the volatile nature of the current owner. We look forward to a new owner or front of restaurant when we would like to return to the wonderful service of the previous set up. I am sure that this review will be met with accusations, but you will tell from my previous reviews that we are normally very kind. I will leave it up to you to decide.

Lovley friendly restaurant excellent food

We've eaten here and had take away a number of times but are very disappointed tonight having ordered through JustEat - order not arrived and when I rang the restaurant they didn't care at all - 2 hours later following our food order. Despite them saying they have had issues with Just eat they continue to use them and leave us without takeaway on my sons birthday. Slopey shoulders attitude and rude - my husband went in to speak and the same attitude. Not good enough to just pass the buck, especially for long standing customers! No way to get them to return - not asking them to refund but to leave us hungry and poor attitude was not good enough!!

Ordered food online never arrived was told not there problem was rude and unhelpful used to be nice under old ownership will not use again and be sure to let everyone know to steer clear

We went last night for an 80th birthday and everything was fantastic! The food was delicious and the staff were brilliant. We felt really looked after and they really went above and beyond for us! The best Baklava we have eaten as well as the Turkish delight 😊 Thanks again.

My wife and I had booked a table prior to seeing a show in Kings Lynn From the outside it does not look too impressive, but inside was a different experience. There was one other couple when we arrived at 5.30 on a Friday. By the time we left 90 minutes later it was full. Staff were polite and welcoming, food excellent and very good portion size. Two us, with a shared starter, bread and olives, two main courses and drinks paid less than £50. Thoroughly recommended and we will return.

Lovely local restaurant on Norfolk St. The waiter was friendly, accommodating and chatty. The atmosphere is relaxed/family friendly and low key. The food is lovely (homemade bread for starters was incredible) and portion sizes are good. Draft Turkish beer was also nice, would recommend a visit!

Ordered a mixed kebab for one which came with lamb, some chicken and a meat stick thing. The lamb was perfectly cooked but unfortunately full of gristle, chicken was over cooked and dry. The meat stick thing was nice though. Rice nothing special but overall not bad

Nice but minimal portion of 3 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of lamb for £17 .50 and 2.50 tip not sure why I gave the tip but I won’t be going back

Food portion is small.. ordered a mix grill and got 3 pieces of chicken skewers, 3 small lamb skewers and one medium Adana.. came with greasy rice and very oily salad..

It was so good the first time we had to come back again. We’ve been to several Turkish restaurants but for me this place has made me realise that I really had not had ‘proper’ Turkish food before. This food is fresh and delicious. A really tasty pita bread flavored with butter and herbs is served with a yoghurt dip and a slightly spicy I think tomato salsa type dip. Starters are a wide choice. I loved the chicken shish. Lovely marinated chicken with beautiful rice and a nice mixture of salads. My husband loves the lamb shank that comes with creamy mashed potatoes and roasted like vegetables. The entire menu is filled with choice. Oh did I mention the hummus well. it’s delicious. Mouth watering baklava was offered as an ‘on the house’ after the main course. The restaurant is warm, welcoming.and impeccably clean. Brilliant staff. I have a new respect for true Turkish food. Thank you, we will be back.

Me and friends tried this restaurant in town couple of weeks ago. Food was delicious and you’ll love it especially if you are a meat lover. The server/waiter was friendly and offered everyone a glass of wine paid by the other customers that time. The place has a great ambiance and cozy. From the outside, it may not too encouraging but definitely worth a try. Come in guys/gals :)

Took the wife out for a date and we decided to give this Turkish restaurant a try. We had the chicken shish, halloumi fries and some baklava for dessert. The food tasted great, the portions were very generous and the waiter professional. We will definitely come back again. Happy wife, happy life.

Disappointing Dining Experience! I recently dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome as the waiter did not greet or bid farewell. This lack of hospitality was a significant drawback. The food quality was another letdown. The rice and Kabab were not properly marinated. While the meat was extremely soft due to kiwi marination, it was undercooked, and raw meat was visible inside, which was quite unappetizing. The only redeeming aspect of the meal was the starter, hummus, which was passable. In summary, I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the evident lack of hospitality and the subpar quality of their offerings. It's crucial for a restaurant to provide not only delicious food but also a welcoming atmosphere, and unfortunately, this establishment fell short in both aspects.

AMAZING !!! Superb food that us cooked fresh in your view , lovely welcoming staff . The menu has a great choice and also caters for kids with nuggets etc if they wont eat other food . We were given complimentary Turkish warm seasoned bread with chilli and garlic dip which was lovely. I had stuffed vine leaves and Falafel which are starters as my main , my husband had the special minced chicken shish which was huge and served with rice , carrot , salad , red cabbage and onion . My husband had a Turkish coffee and we were given complimentary serving of Baklava which was also gorgeous . We had one alcoholic drink and one diet coke . The bill was less than £35 , which was great value . We will definitely be back 😀

We have been to many Turkish restaurants and I have to say this is the best one my Wife and I have ever visited.The Waiter who I hope will forgive me as I forgot to ask his name, was truly incredible and so so friendly. The place itself inside was spotless, although in the day light outside was not the most vibrant. The food was spectacular and so very reasonably priced. We started with dolmades,humous,cacik and Turkish bread it was delightful. We then moved onto Calamari with salad and chips, meat moussaka, and Adana which is blend of minced lamb spiced soaked in a sauce with like Turkish bread in the sauce as well which was superb. All the portions were very generous and beautifully cooked. We were well and truly stuffed at the end, but not to stuffed for my Wife to get some baclava to go for later. Well later has come and gone and they were fabs as well. On the way out of the place I remarked to the Wonderful Waiter that I hoped they would never change as what they do it Spot on 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Usually my husband and I chat over dinner. Not here--complete silence and full attention to the amazing dishes. The restaurant also accommodated our need to catch a train and had our take aways ready in time. Later we found to our surprise that they included a complimentary (delicious) rice pudding in the take away bag. Will return when we're next in King's Lynn.

Bad service, avoid. I ordered 2 kebabs, when I got my order home (15 minute drive) I realised there was only one kebab in the order. The restaurant didn’t seem at all concerned that we had paid for something that was missing and told us to take it up with Just Eat, as we ordered through the app. We won’t be ordering from them again.

Not sure what to say other than I have a slight concern our food was re heated in the microwave as main courses were cold in the middle, starter portions are small and food is middle to upper priced also unfortunately kitchen staff all sit there and watch you eat through a huge window which is very unsettling 😅food is authentic though and wine is good, just a few atmospheric and service issues. After a day out in Sheringham today, we found Pera Grill and popped in. The service was friendly, the serving were generous and the food was delicious. Spot on. We were glad we found this little delight. Shame we live no where near but would definitely recommend to anyone in & around the area. Thank you :)

I eat from this lovely restaurant frequently. However, the last visit I noticed the rice was spoiled, smelly and sticky. This is not the usual rice I eat from here. I raised it up and they denied it. The kebab quality was great but my partner and I both found the rice was foul smelling and spoiled. Unfortunately they declined it and charged my for all the food even though we did not eat the rice. I hope the quality will get better as we all like this restaurant.

Highly dissapointed.Reserved table online,but after 1 hour was asked to leave as people waiting outside for a table? Ordered drinks and food and they canceled order and asked to leave so others could take our table? Who does that? Never again. Can't rate food, only had a starter, which was ok.

I booked for 3 via Quandoo for Saturday night 4th March 2023. Booking was confirmed via email. We arrived just before the booked time of 8.00pm. We were told that they weren’t ready and to go away and come back in 20 minutes. We returned and walked in and stood there for a further 10/15 minutes without any acknowledgement. To our horror, we witnessed a table of 5 women who had just been invited in,taken their coats off and sat down (AND HAD BOOKED) then being asked to leave in favour of a group of 10 who were waiting under the canopy of a shop on the other side of the road. We continued to be completely ignored and then we decided that enough was enough, left and took out business to another restaurant. We were extremely embarrassed particularly as we had invite a guest to join us. It is clear that the online booking system cannot be trusted - or they just completely ignore it! It was absolutely apparent that they had no control at all over their restaurant, preparing larger parties to smaller groups that had booked.

Overbooked and literally kicked people out to make space. We booked a table for 9 and got one for 6 and had to squeeze. The grills were ok but the mousaka was terrible. Rice bland and overcooked. I will not be coming back here.

Best Turkish food we’ve ever eaten - anywhere!

My husband booked this and I’m so glad he did. The food is amazing, good quality and fresh! I would come here just for the turkish bread, you’ll see what I mean when you come! Staff are lovely and friendly. It feels like you could be on holiday in turkey- really nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

Up there with one of the best Turkish restaurants I've been in, certainly in recent years. Food was excellent, service equally so. Love the way its open plan so you can see the chefs preparing and cooking your food. Reasonably priced for authentic Turkish food and drink. Will definitely return.

Lovely friendly staff , myself and my wife love Turkish food and this was up there with the best, definitely going back , can't recommend it enough 5 stars , oh and the Turkish water is lovely 😍
