The best restaurants in King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

Hadn't been here for a few years, so glad we went. Food was good value, we went for the £6 selection and a dessert. The sausage and mash was delicious, hot when it arrived, service with a smile. Well worth a visit and we will be going back but not leaving so long in-between visits . One thing to add if you are in a car please remember to book it into the carpark, it's all free for about 4 hours

Visiting from Southampton and decided to pop into the tea rooms after walking round the castle. All the staff were friendly and welcoming, quick service and lovely food.

We were staying just down the road and fancied a walk and some late breakfast. I ordered the big breakfast, which was exactly what it said on the tin. Hot, well cooked and tasty. Only disappointment was the sausages, sorry I'm not a fan of cheap sausages!!! I'd rather pay a little more and have better quality. But overall very good

What can I say- went to this place as a final farewell to the last resident at Burman House....granted there were several of us but we had not intended to stay long, apart resident and chaperone, were told they couldnt accommodate us and that basucally we would be in the way...people bang on about keeping it local...well let me tell you, not one of us would step foot over that threshold ever again even if we were paid

We have been calling in here for a couple of years for a snack and coffee. It’s pricey but the view is nice and the food was ok. Staff have always been pleasant but unfortunately we went in the other day and a chap we have never seen before seemed to be in charge. He appeared to be having a bad day and was rude to me at the counter. So. That’s it, we won’t be returning.

The order was ready very fast, the service from the staff was very impressive and the food was very tasty. Will definitely by going again.

Had a lovely meal here, the service was excellent, the setting and view was really good, and the staff kindly gave a card and desert to my mother for her 70th birthday. It’s very expensive but it is a lovely venue and meal.

Very good food. Good Atmosphere. Good customer service. If book a table upstairs. Near the window. U can see the river. We went there for a Special Celebration.

Maybe the best pub food we've ever had, and the beer is also top notch. Staff are friendly and the landlord clearly knows his stuff. We'll be back!

Friendly staff, spacious rooms, sea views and above a pub with a lovely atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay!
