The best restaurants in Forest Heath East of England

My friend and I ate at NSK recently and to be fair the food was good, however, our bill was a bit of a shock. One breakfast, one sausage bap and four coffees was just shy of £25. NSK is located in Freshfields which borders with Icewell Hill it`s basically placed on a Council Estate but charges "Pantry" prices. Yes, a business cannot survive on fresh air alone, however, the service & ambiance was not of a high enough standard too warrant being fleeced. I think NSK need to look at their pricing or in six months time they wont need to. Would we return as customers? Yes, if the pricing was competitive.

Is SmartDamo really smart or do they genuinely have treacle in the toilets? I’m so glad Miss Hoppy taught me how to spell. Greggs in Diss is lovely 😁

A shout-out to the world's best waiter ! C – Courteous, with a grin from ear to ear, He’ll take your order, or grab you a beer. With every “Hello!” and “How’s the food?" You’ll feel like a VIP, he's just that good! O – Outstanding, no doubt about that, He recommends pizzas, and gives kids a hat. From cheesy jokes to topping advice, He’ll make you laugh once or maybe twice. L – Loyal, to pizza, that’s his true love, But to customers too, he’s a gift from above. He’s the kind of guy who’ll fetch extra sauce, Without a fuss, and smiling of course! I – Interactive, like a game show host, He'll quiz you on toppings, what you love most. He’ll chat ‘bout the pizza, or even the weather, Anything to make you feel light as a feather. N – Neat, yes, but more than that, He’ll wipe down your table and offer a chat. His apron might be spotless, but he’s got flair, A tidier pizza waiter? They’re quite rare.

Helpful staff I used the drive through looked clean

Rubbish, I was told that that management had said that customers had to use koisk, and was asked if needed help. No, helped wasn't needed. I have enough interaction with ordering remotely via computers. Speaking to a person is nice. Just not in Burger King it seems.

Refused to bring the order 2 shops down from them. Was told I'd need to make it a delivery and pay extra.

Overpriced drinks and crap food ,staff are fine probably embarrassing for them to charge so much for what's on offer at what could be a nice setting if you didn't feel ripped off every time you order something.

I came on for a large Cappuccino and a three cheese toastie. I was greeted nicely, the place was very clean and a few people around for a Monday morning. The toastie was great and I love Cappuccino, no complaints from me. It was nice and quiet too. Thanks

Usual poor food hygiene whilst handling both food and money with bare hands One person wearing gloves but using same to handle money and rolls Three of the staff always pick rolls using serviette so where the manager training the others Certainly no training in food cross contamination and guessing Greggs are not customer focused as I’ve left many reviews but never a reply!

Waitrose offers and excellent stop for snacks and tea/coffee with free parking. Newspapers as well! A great plus in these days.

Ordered from the restaurant in Mildenhall. Decided to give them one more chance. Never again. It has so far taken over an hour and still no Pizza. Just called and was told 5 minutes, the reason given was that their system went down. It seems everytime I order this must happen since the last time I ordered it too almost 2 hours for the Pizza to show up. I know this is rediculous since My wife and I worked for PJs in the US and it is less than 15 minutes from starting the order until it comes out of the oven. Now I know that they are not that busy in Mildenhall during the week. What's up here
