The food was made exactly as I asked, staff were very friendly and word quickly. Service was prompt and flowed. Atmosphere was quite only 1 other person eating in at the same time as us, it's was clean and presentable, and the staff were at the top game today. Large order £75+ worth every penny

Walked in at 20.20 when the restaurant hours clearly state on the door 21.00 close. And the 2 serves told me it’s closed and they had all the wet floor signs closing the restaurant off. What’s the point in opening hours..?

The young lassie serving couldnt be and miserable if she tried!. My subway app wasnt working (again) so asked for the code at the bottom of the receipt to be able to add my points. She informed me they dont have codes on. And walked away.

I visited Barton Mills Subway after taking my partner to work on 23rd Sept, I ordered a turkey & lettuce foot long for my partner and a chicken and bacon footlong for myself, upon getting home and eating half my sub I bit into the second half to find something stabbing me in the mouth, I spat out what was in my mouth to find a rather large and very sharp chicken bone. As I was unable to return until the next morning I packaged the sub back up with said chicken bone and returned the next morning, upon arriving spoke to the 'manager' who had served me the previous day, he even remembered my order, I explained what had happened and then proceeded to tell me it was impossible and making out like I'm lying and that they wouldn't do anything about it, be it a refund or even a replacement, at this point I left as it seemed pointless wasting my time to not get anywhere, so I left and decided to contact head office, I didn't get the person's name so returned and asked for the person's name to then be told there was a different manager I can speak to, spoke the this one aswel to be told the same thing and to be made feel like I was making it up. I used to visit her regularly however will now be totally avoiding this branch full stop, I've attached a pic of said bone so people can see for themselves

Honestly the staff here are VERY unfriendly. The one with the long blonde hair acts like they don't even want to talk to you or answer your questions. They speak barely above a Whisper and are really rude. I thought maybe the first time we went in that they were just having an off day but the second time we went in that person was just as rude. They also charge you for bags at this location for some reason so you'll have to go ask for a bag from the gas station cashier to carry your food out. This wouldn't be a problem if all the subways charged for bags but the one on base doesn't charge. But when you have multiple sandwiches and cookies and chips and all that it's pretty rude of that location to charge for bags. The food also always seems soggy and old compared to the other locations. Not sure if it's being stored correctly here. Overall I would extremely advise against eating from this location.

Sandwich was OK but would have expected a bit more for 3.69! Very little bread/ salad selection, (had to ask the staff member to fill the lettuce up which he got out the back by hand which seemed very strange) you could clearly see that the two staff members that were on had not been adequately trained and there where flies buzzing around the food!! I can't blame the staff as they did their best, this is very much a poorly managed franchise. I really hope the management ups their game and trains these staff members properly! They couldn't even find the knife to cut the bread!!

Food was good and the speed of service wasn't too bad considering there was only two workers. Only thing I didn't like was that whilst my order was being made 2 men who work at the petrol station (possibly the owners of the subway restaurant) went behind the counter and started making themselves a sandwich. Even the two subway workers were looking at each other and customers were shocked at the fact they were helping themselves. One of the men had a big bushy beard and no hair net or beard net on, who knows if they even washed there hands. I think it's pretty disgusting as i work in food. I will NOT be going back.

One of the slowest subways I have been to after my 10 minute wait because of the one person in front of me (sandwich artist was very slow) I sat at my dirty table and watched 3 people leave the queue and walk out while waiting I dont blame them Food was good shame about everything else

Some of the staff struggle to cut a bread roll in half. Despite asking for the first to be redone, the second also consisted of a top flap and 95% of the roll in the bottom. They are very friendly but possibly need a little more training. Have been to better Subway's. Edit: Bought subs twice in the last two weeks while coming back from my in-laws and have now been able to pinpoint this place as giving us both food poisoning. Will be reporting to food standards agency tomorrow and wish I could give zero stars...

What an amazing restaurant, with very friendly and attentive staff. My partner and I was seated straight away, granted we did have a reservation. We was greeted by a lovely young waitress, who guided us to our table. Having one of the window seats, combined with the beautiful table setting, made for a very romantic scene. The staff where just as amazing, catering to our needs. Drinks where refilled instantly, plates and cutlery taken as soon as we finished. Our waitress made us feel like the only ones there. There was no rush and we was left to enjoy our date for as long as we needed. The food was served in a very modest way, not over the top like some restaurants. The key part was the taste, and my god was it good. I honestly don't know where they found the chef but that food could contend against some of the greats. The flavours where exquisite, a perfect blend of beef and cheese. All in all, I highly encourage anyone who wishes to dine here..

I have been and got a takeaway from there Today and when I came to the window to pay the girl just stuck the card reader under my nose and said fifteen pounds,No please or thank you she will know,as I did say thank you to her in a rather curt way.Please train the staff to be more respectful as it is us,the customer who indirectly pay their wages

What we had was good, however, according to the Blackboard the meat was Beef, Chicken, or Gammon. Unless you are known to Chef, after we had eaten he came and offered two guests LAMB.. I will attach a picture of our ‘Large’ portions. That is unless you are known to chef, then your portion is considerably larger. Note, the small flat piece of Yorkshire pudding, or at least I think that’s what it is supposed to be. Four, yes four sprouts, I actually asked our lovely waitress if she were sure that these were large portions. Note one slice of parsnip, one slice of sweet potato, that mushed up white stuff is cauliflower cheese and sloppy broccoli. I made my issues known, it’s simply not good enough to give preferential treatment to regulars, unfortunately we are local and were just out for a Sunday lunch. Like I said what we had was nice, and graciously and politely served, but if you know chef you will get larger, large portions. Don’t go here if you don’t know chef.
