The best restaurants in Hemel Hempstead Town Dacorum East of England

We ordered a pizza, burger and chicken wings(see picture) a few months ago and it was delicious, then ordered again a few weeks ago and was ok, but when we ordered this weekend the pizza box was open, it was cold and there was a dead moth stuck to the box, when I rang to complain they said they will credit us and apologised. So far they haven’t refunded us, I’m a bit apprehensive about ordering again as it seems to have gone downhill fast. On the plus side, delivery was very fast on all occasions and when we first ordered the food was amazing & good value.

This is one of my favourite places in the world to eat. Yet another superb meal last night. PLEASE do come and try the Cochin Restaurant, it is unlike any other curry house I've ever been to in the UK. The flavours are so subtle, the cooking is exceptional. The service is first class. Every time is a pleasure!

An excellent evening. Authentic Thai food, varied and tasty. Service was outstanding and we shall return. Our drinks waiter was really good and helpful so thanks!!

Unfortunately although the food was nice... service was awful. Mum and I went in for lunch today. I ordered a burger and mum an omelette. My food arrived and mum's was finally served 15 minutes later. I had finished my meal by then. Did talk to the manager and he said if we wanted our food to come out together we should have said when we ordered it! He said they are just a café. I explained that we had come into his establishment to eat a meal together and reasonably thought we would be served together. I was left feeling like it was our fault. Would not return.

Very good and helpful service. The food was great and decent portions I was full long before my food was gone.

I stayed for 1 night. Everything about the establishment is excellent! Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and convenient and the pub has an excellent atmosphere. The bar menu is generous and the food is great quality. I also had breakfast which was up to the same standard, served by a very friendly and attentive staff member. Highly recommended and I will be staying again.

My girlfiend and I have started to come here for the all day breakfast whenever we're in town and need feeding up and every single time we are satisfied and well looked after! The staff are really friendly, even though we only go in like once a month, the usual waitress who remebers us and what we order. The menu is expansive and great value, the decour is lovely and warm. Take a look at the menu, but if homely food and nice vibes is what you are looking for, can't go wrong with the Marlowes Cafe!

Had a great experience at Fat Rooster! The food is absolutely super. I tried the fried chicken and rice, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside – packed with flavor. The rice was just as impressive, with a delicious smoky flavour that complemented the chicken really well. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re craving some hearty, flavorful comfort food.

Stopped here for lunch after a recommendation from a lady in a shop. It's was great. Food and coffee was lovely and was a nice chilled atmosphere inside too. Will definitely visit again when I'm in hemel.

This place is fast becoming my number 1 choice for a coffee (or an afternoon beer) with a client or prospect. Great choice of drinks.

This was our first time visiting the restaurant for a takeaway that had been recommended to us by friends. The staff we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive. All the food we ordered was accounted for and was very nice. Everything was cooked well and was tasty. All my family really enjoyed their food and would recommend to all. We will definitely return as soon as we can.
