Ordered a delivery for 18.30 then it changed to 19.20-19.40. At 19.45 called the store, was assured the driver left 25 minutes ago. At 20.20 still no delivery and after repeated attempts at calling yet only getting voicemail I am giving up. 2 hours of waiting for a delivery after it was pre-ordered in the early afternoon. No contact from restaurant.Incredibly disappointed as was looking forward to this delivery.

Slow delivery, missing item on the order and the food was pretty disgusting unfortunately. Not sure how one gets bacon wrong but it tasted foul. Only thing worth eating on the Breakfast was the Scottish pudding, that was good. But the rest made me feel ill, gave it to the dog.

The carrot cake is amazing! I highly recommend this place I’ve never had an issue, the food is always lovely and the man who runs it is so friendly and welcoming

Ordered via uber. I am on the very limits of their delivery range, but I was surprised how quickly the order arrived, 50 minutes or so. I had been prepared for a longer wait but maybe ordering on a Sunday between lunchtime and evening peaks helped. Food was very well packaged, the gorgeous blue cheese sauce was piping hot and totally secure from any potential mishaps. The portions were spectacularly large and cooked to perfection. I had promised myself a treat from Roastino for many months, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. Well done for providing such cuisine for delivery within the area, an area deluged by the same old fast food "meals".

We had a very good time here. The food was fresh and very tasty. Chef and staff very friendly and helpful. Fair price, good size portions. The Gourmet Chips are incredible! Fish and chips was huge.

We had ordered from this place on ubereats and been pleasantly surprised, so when we found ourselves in the area we thought we'd try the eat in experience. The service was friendly and timely. However, a couple of hours after eating a chicken roast dinner, I started to get the chicken repeating on me. By the time I went to bed I felt quite ill from it. Sure enough, I was awoken in the early hours to deal with the consequences of their poor food preparation skills. We shall never order there again and I would strongly recommend that nobody else takes the chance either!

Worst food I’ve ever eaten. I’m little late posting this but given the obnoxious response on my JustEat review I’m keen to share my experience here also. Seeing as I can’t reply on just eat to this blatant madness, I’ll reply here. The food was an extra hour late from the hour that they had already pushed it back by despite us pre-ordering our food at 11am. (We preordered because I work night shifts to make it easier for my partner and I). It was appreciated that they called us to let us know it would be an hour late, but the no update when they were another hour later than they had said. Making food 2 hours late despite our preorder. Obviously unable to plan ahead. The food was wet which is understandable to a degree with delivery in general. When I say it was wet I mean I could have literally poured myself a mug. With regards to seasoning, thanks for telling what my recommended salt intake should be as if I wouldn’t already know this myself. But salt isn’t the only thing this meal lacked. There was no pepper or herbs or even butter. It was as if everything was cooked in an overcrowded pan as there was no colour/caramelisation on the meat. I could only describe it as grey and flavourless. But it was still over cooked and chewy. Seeing as we were ordering off of just eat I didn’t expect the finest cuts of meat but I definitely would have expected it to have far less fat and cartilage. As I stated, I have ordered from this restaurant before and had an enjoyable meal but this time it missed the mark by a long shot. When leaving a review I do not expect the restaurant to reply I’m such an aggressive manor. I didn’t call and complain. I didn’t leave a scathing review or even a post on social media to make the point of how disappointed I was. I didn’t even leave a 1 star review. But seeing as you want to speak to customer the way you did I will reply here with a 1 star google review, simply for the manor in which you conducted yourself. You could have just not replied? What happened to reacting to honest feedback? It’s not as if I am baiting for a refund. The order we had placed came close to £50 and next time I think we will go to McDonald’s instead and actually eat from somewhere that can consistently provide for a fraction of the price. PS. No amount of salt and pepper I added myself made this food anything other than unappetising. My pot noodle replacement was 100 times better than this.

I just needed to say how impressed I was by the meal from this restaurant. I have very elderly parents who can't get out much so getting a roast dinner delivered is a treat and it's hard to find. Most takeaways are pizza, chips etc It was packaged beautifully n looked and tasted amazing. The portion size was wonderful. So big. Lots of veg that was cooked perfectly, potatoes, stuffing, gravy (both chicken n beef in our case as we had poultry n meat) , apple sauce for the pork n cranberry sauce for the turkey Delivery time was just over an hour but when u want a decently cooked meal that exceeds your expectations then I'm prepared to wait. Definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try. And thankyou for a great meal.

The food arrived after a 2 1/2 hour wait. The food tasted nice apart from some of the veg was hard and it was all cold. We used to order from Roastino a lot, not any more, food quality and delivery time was really gone downhill.

Quite possibly the worst meal I’ve eaten. Burger dry, tasteless and poorly cooked. Cold chips. Greasy onion rings. The pasta dish was an absolute joke. Please train your chefs/cooks. Totally unacceptable. The “food” is now in the bin. Disappointed is an understatement. The owner should be highly embarrassed.

Been there with a mate on the Sunday 30th May , Disgusting food I had an all day breakfast the egg was hard and also tested like rubber the bacon was under cooked the mushrooms tasted wired and the staff just just rude and also while I was sitting down I looked down and their are 2 ants and 1 bug on the floor moving they need to shut this place down also when I was outside they have a an outside menu with you could not read it was that bad please don't spend you're time and effort and money to go there.

Put grapes, apple, celery, carrots and peppers in the 'Chicken Caesar' salad. Thought they'd made a mistake mixing a fruit salad in there or that it was a joke but amazingly the guy backed it over the phone said that it was "my opinion" that none of that would ever be in a Caesar salad. None of these weird items were on the UberEats menu I ordered from. I can't eat apples but never thought I'd have to mention this on a Chicken Caesar salad order. Mental, avoid this place this guy's a flop Update: this joker has tried to make out below that it was on the menu. It wasn't when I ordered, and I checked before calling him after I got it and it definitely wasn't. He is full of s*** just avoid this place.

I ordered 2 Roast Dinners today from Roastino in Hemel Hempstead. Aaron took my order and he was very professional and gave us great service. The food was delivered on time and piping hot, and it was absolutely delicious. I had Roast Chicken and my Dad had Roast Beef, and we both commented on how wonderfullly cooked the food was and the portion sizes were very generous. Definitely recommend this place for great food and service. Well done Aaron and Roastino !!!

Ordered 3 beef rengdang and they have to be the worst food we’ve ever had. None of us could eat any of it, not even the rice. The rice was sloppy and had a bizarre taste and the beef itself was grey and inedible. Chewy or hard were the 2 options. We’ve now left all 3 dinners out for the foxes and ordered another dinner from else where. So disappointed as I was really looking forward to it and trusted the other reviews. Will not make that mistake again!

Recently had 2 deliveries from here and they were both excellent, the food was very hot and fresh, one of them was the seafood platter it was huge it fed me for 2 days I’ll definitely be ordering that again, all the portions where decent sized the kids options were great, I just wished we had found this at the beginning of lockdown, And delivered right on time, we will certainly be using you again & again 😊

Absolutely the worst food establishment I’ve had the displeasure of visiting. Dry potatoes, hard chips and a burger that has more gristle than meat. Coke served in a bottle with no ice available and onion rings with enough batter that Rihanna would forgive Chris Brown. Avoid.

Ordered through just eat and we had two omelettes chips and salad , wow when I opened the boxes it was all piping hot and so nicely presented and the salad was lovely never had such a lovely variety and fresh . Just popped in for lunch. Hubby fancied a late breakfast and I wasnt sure what I fancied. The selection was huge!! I ended up with an Irish Stew, complete with pearl barley, roasted veg and dumplings with a side of buttery mash. It was just delicious!! I could almost have been tempted by their selection of cakes but I was so full. The waitress was upbeat and pleasant. And the new distancing restrictions actually made it feel quite cosy. An all round great experience. Will definitely be back.

Their meals were amazing but their service needs work. Ordered five meals and only the main for four arrived leaving a member of our family hungry. Despite multiple calls and promises, the missing food arrived an hour after we’d received ours. No attempt to put it right. Absolutely disgusting

My daughter ordered 3 roast beef dinners to my door. I Live in a village outside of Hemel,so to have a hot takeaway arrive was a bonus!. The beef was cooked beautifully,as was everthing else. Amazing....highly reccoment.

My young daughters and I had a lovely lunch at Roastino today. The gentleman serving us was more than happy to split the adult meal and milkshake that my daughters wanted into 2 smaller portions for them. The customer service was brilliant and the food delicious. We will definitely stop by again.

They do a bit of everything. Food is usually really nice and good portions. Their scrambled eggs are to die for. Never had them so fluffy! Do a great breakfast. Their mains are nice too. I've only ever had the vegetarian options but always liked them. It's a great place for a coffee or a meal. Would recommend.

Today was our first visit to Roastino, we didn’t know what to expect but we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed, we both ordered croque monsieur ( a posh cheese and ham toasty) it was very tasty and served with the best salad I have ever eaten. We enjoyed a pot of tea with bone china cups and saucers and the service was perfect. The outside of the building and the location doesn’t do the service or food justice but I thoroughly recommend a visit to Roastino. Total price for two people was under £20.00.

My wife and I decided to visit this cafe after a appointment at Santander bank just a few doors away. As soon as we entered the cafe we were greeted with a hearty good morning, which we thought was quite nice. Unfortunately that was the nicest part of the visit. After looking in the cakes cabinet I decided to order one mince pie and a coffee, my wife just had a coffee. When the staff came to our table, they presented us with our coffees, and much too my surprise not one but three mince pies. I ate just one mince pie because that was all I wanted. However when we had finished and went to pay our bill we were expected to pay for all three mince pies. Also we were informed by this member of staff that because we were paying by card the extra charge for using a card would be 10%. The mince pies weren't particularly expensive but I objected to the way the whole service was conducted. We took the mince pies home in a doggy bag, but I can't recommend this cafe because of the way they conduct business.I heard a member of staff suggest to another customer that he would appreciate a review on TripAdvisor. Well I thought I will certainly oblige. We definitely will not be using this cafe again.

Roastino is a great little restaurant in the centre of Hemel Hempstead. The food is well cooked and served quickly. The food is good quality and flavoursome and the restaurant itself is always clean. There is a good choice of menu for any appetite and the decor is nice and quirky. Well worth a visit!

We went to to Roastino’s whilst in town. Due to my grandmother being extremely poor sighted it is majorly important for her to feel comfortable in her surroundings. The staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful with making it easy assessable for her in her wheelchair. They made us feel welcome as soon as we enter and maintained conversation throughout the time we were waiting for our drinks and food. The cake and hot drinks we had were also at an amazing standard, price and presented well.

This place is now part of my normal weekly schedule, it's great to pop in for a breakfast somewhere with friendly staff as part of my Sunday morning stroll around town.

The only place we eat in Hemel. So easy to overlook when there are such a large choice of cafes but Roastino's is a cut above the rest.

I always come here when meeting up with friends in Hemel. The coffee is great, as is the service (thank you!), and I've always enjoyed whatever I've ordered. I can particularly recommend the omelettes, breakfasts and their soup - and of course the huge Christmas dinners that are currently on the menu!

I celebrated my graduation last night in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a wonderful evening and the venue was certainly one of the reasons for that fruitful gathering. The team cooperated in a graceful way, the meals were extremely good and my guests were extremely happy. We shall no dout come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

After several years I though I would return to this French Oasis in the centre of Hemel Hempstead. I was not to be disappointed. The menu is extensive with a range of European and English dishes. The smells coming from the kitchen entice you to try new dishes and this I did with a Chicken Parmigiana - beautifully tender chicken topped with cheese - and American-Italian dish. Served with mash that was so fluffy and vegetable Julienne and Salsa di Pomodori presented to perfection.

I don't have too much time to come I to town these days without rushing. When I do I love eating in Roastino. Food is fresh and lovely. Very much a family atmosphere and very relaxed. The staff are always welcoming. On my latest visit here (16/12/2019) I have noticed more items included on the menu including Vegan options and there is a range of health food to buy. Good for people watching too.

Been to this restaurant a few times now over the last year with my girlfriend and certainly plan to keep going in the future (and she’s a fussy eater!).

Francois and the team offer a lovely little respite from the hustle and bustle of town in their wonderful cafe. Offering great food and reasonable prices with food for every dietary requirement. They have a fantastic little shop which sells lots of vegan and plant based items and they have the best soft drink selection anywhere in town!

I have been in a few times with my other half after a busy day shopping or after a late night out and we are always welcomed with a lovely smile and a chipper hello from the lovely waitress behind the counter. Sitting down and having a look around you'll find that they offer a wide variety of choices on the menu and i always say i'll try something different when i return but then always end up having a full breakfast, cuppachino and an orange juice.

Was met with a warm welcome to myself and my little one during a Sunday lunchtime. My hands tied (by the little one) I had a Spaghetti Bolognese and it was a generous portion. It was light and flavoursome in taste. It contained many vegetables too, so quite healthy.
