I had a lovely date night tonight in the top of the world with my girlfriend. I had the giant gyros and my lady had curry house feast. Amazing service and very polite staff. So happy with mu experience

I had drinks here for my birthday last week. It was on a Thursday so I wasn't expecting much but the staff were amazing. They accommodated for our needs. Didnt mind us singing badly along to the juke box while playing pool. It was a great night and well definitely be back again. Thank you Carla and all her staff

Went to the top of the world today bank holiday Monday it was very quiet. We like the top of the world but the only problem is the food takes forever to come out. I was told there was a 30 minute wait today which is fine ,but a hour later , I had to go and ask if they had forgotten us, there was only two of us. I could’ve cooked it myself in 15 minutes. The bar staff went to check and come back and told me it won’t be long now a few more minutes ,sorry about the wait but it is really busy tonight. I looked around to the nearly empty pub and said , it is not busy. I was told yes but there are people in the garden, so I took a look and there were four people. It’s not the first time we’ve had a very very very long wait for food when it is not busy apart from that, I really like it and the food is okay, today my fish and chips was very very dry. Must’ve been under a hot plate for a long time. The only thing that puts me off going back again the very long wait when it’s not busy. I’m not sure what the chef is doing. I think he must go for a sleep between cooking. When it was slightly busier a couple of weeks ago, we waited nearly 2 hours for food.

Came her for dinner knew the other chef Matt was cooking what a lovely meal tonight myself and husband as been in the last 2 weeks and he has had the samon it was cooked to perfect well done Matt

Food fine if you don't want steak they can't cook steak at all

Top of the World in Hemel offers great views and a relaxed vibe. The menu features tasty burgers and pizza. Food quality is good, though service can be slow at times. Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Popular on weekends, so reservations are recommended.

Great place to watch Euro 2024 and any other sport events! The atmosphere is awesome!

Great local boozer. Drank here for years. Friendly and cheap drinks. Staff are nice and chatty and can have a laugh with. They have sky sports and get lively when the footy is on which I love.

Great pub staff are really helpful and friendly. Good entertainment. Food is good value. Had several family functions here and received the best attention and care. Highly recommended

What a great time. We came football. We had booked a table and because it was a really nice day we wanted to sit outside. Carla and her staff were very accommodating and managed to find us a table outside, with a good view of the TV.

I’ve came here for the euros and it is the best atmosphere! Great DJ, service, value for money on the beer! Looking forward to coming back!

We have been visiting this pub for a while now. The staff are lovely, always friendly and helpful, "Donna" is so happy and always makes time to talk to the customers. It's a great family pub to visit, the only downside is that you can't take your dogs into the eating areas anymore. You can take them into the bar area but this is very small and some regulars were not very happy to have dogs and kids in that area. That bieng said, the staff made it very clear that we were very welcome to be there. We will continue to visit, just not with our dogs or in the small public bar.

Toppers is the best pub in Hemel! Great food, drink, entertainment and staff! No matter what day of the week you always feel welcome and have a good time!

I must be fair I loved in hemel for 20 years and as a late teens and 29s person it was not a place to go, but now many year later a very good pub and food with a good atmosphere with good food, will visit again

Food was absolutely amazing!!!! Attention to detail was spot on as our daughter has an allergy to peanuts and the staff were so thourough to make sure she was safe. Lucy behind the bar was so friendly, there was a cocktail that we wanted but they had ran out of the mix for it instead of just saying sorry can’t do , Lucy created it herself so that we weren’t disappointed. Came along for the hitmix bingo night they were putting on. The atmosphere was great, the range of drinks on offer was impressive and the staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend the music bingo night as it was fun with all of us singing along

Lucy served me and my friend as we were out for lunch. She explained the full process of ordering, was efficient and had a can-do attitude. She was happy to help and smiled throughout making this a pleasant experience. Food was delicious. I will definitely be going back again.

This pub is by far our top favourite place to visit in Hemel Hempstead. The atmosphere is friendly and the meals and drinks are affordable. Top Of The World mainly focuses on British cuisine, which is unfortunately not so common in traditional British Pubs nowadays...

Visited on Friday and the service was second to none staff had some very rude customers to deal with and was very professional and polite we ordered from the festive menu and the food was lovely and came out in a timely manner

Service at the bar was a little slow at times. It was a busy Saturday lunchtime. But apart from that we enjoyed our meal. We were able to take as long as we liked and did not feel rushed. Sarah was very helpful and welcoming.

Make sure only disabled people are using the disabled car parking spaces with blue badges and also make sure the reserved table is actually reserved and not some one sitting at it drink a pint ……no notice of reservation was on the table at all. Food and service was very good apart from this.

Over the last few months, I have had many changes. Going from wheelchair to a prosthetic has been easier than anticipated, now a little bit more agile and independent. The bonus for me and others who need assistance from time to time is the staff behind the bar, and being attentive without being overwhelming is down to great customer service. A lovely welcome at the bar. The lady explained how my drinks voucher worked and I bought drinks at the bar. Dinners were ordered from the app at our table. Quick service and lovely food.
