Awesome chicken. Great flavours. Love the Cajun chips. More so than the wingstop fries which are slightly sweet. Good value for money and you will be leaving full up if you take the meal with 3 different flavours and types of chicken. One of my new favourite restaurants.

You can have as much pizza as you can eat. If you cut pizza into slices, you are effectively disecting a round food into triangular slices. The diameter of the original shape of the pizza becomes split by a cute angle. Obviously, I choose to eat here because of the reasons I have explained.

Visited this coffee bar with high expectations due to its 4.9-star rating but left very disappointed. I arrived at 9:30 a.m. for a quick coffee but was ignored by two staff members who were too busy chatting and laughing to notice customers. After finally catching their attention to place an order, I paid £3.90 for my coffee and took a seat. Despite the bar being nearly empty with only five other patrons, we waited patiently for over 10 minutes while the staff continued chatting. When I approached the counter to inquire about the delay, they admitted to having forgotten our order because the ticket "wasn't printed." They refunded me in cash, but by then, my husband no longer had time to enjoy the coffee. Adding to the disappointment, the tables were dirty, and the seating was uncomfortable. This was the worst customer service I've experienced in years, and it’s baffling how this place has such high ratings. I won’t be returning.

Amazing food, great service. Overall a superb experience. I love the food here. The Linguine frutti di Mare was delicious, my partner had Seabass and was superb! And the Tiramisu was top. The restaurant has a really nice cosy, family-owned vibe. The staff were very welcoming and personable. Can’t wait to try more foods on the menu. Credits to the chef Edoardo. Grazie mille for a fantastic evening.

Had an evening meal here with my husband . Small plates menu had changed that day. Lovely waitress apologised for not knowing it. Found out answers to a couple of ingredient questions. Recommended to order 3-5 small plates. Ordered beef cheek which was lovely. Also ordered scallops with cauliflower cheese sauce which cost £16.00. There were 2 scallops in the dish. Very expensive when at other local restaurants I have had at least 3 in my starter. Ordered boulangere potatoes which came as 2 slices - just about a portion for 2 which again for £13.50 was expensive. We expected more than starter sized small plates for these prices. We shared our views with the owner so this review will not be a surprise. Compare this restaurant to other city central restaurants, Pinchos and Mowgli which offer tapas & small plates respectively, and Fete is very expensive for portion size. Quality is not up to the standard of these two restaurants. As an independent business we hope it will continue to succeed and we’re sure it will if customer comments are taken on board.

Lovely food at Amavi. Bookings are recommended for larger groups. Food is very well made and ingredients used are fresh. Staff is extremely friendly and patient - specially the goan service guy. Cash are cards are accepted. Free parking is available for 3hrs after 8pm in the nearby roads
