Jet Sushi in Chelmsford

I went for a light lunch with my 11 year old daughter who wanted to try sushi in a restaurant rather than a supermarket & we were not disappointed. We had Gyoza & king prawn tempura which were both lovely & shared nigiri for main which gave a lot of variety. It’s definitely worth paying the extra than supermarket and we will be back when we need our next sushi fix as I see they deliver too!

I am a sushi snob and I was really desperate to get some fresh high quality sushi in Chelmsford today. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, I had the Nigiri Set 2(15pcs) which offered me a taste of different sushi delights. I am so happy I tried this place after 10 years of living here! The kind gentleman, made my platter fresh for me and was very welcoming. I know where to get my fix now! Thanks Jet Sushi well done!

We've been numerous times to Jet Sushi, and every time we've come away stuffed and filled with great food. They're mainly a takeaway, but we've enjoyed the dine-in experience with the friendly staff there. Definitely would recommend!

Beautiful spot overlooking the river. Food so incredibly fresh and made to order. Sushi a huge family hit and the chicken gyoza’s, vegetable tempura are highly recommended. Looking forward to returning and working way through the menu. Incredibly good price too!

Really small restaurant but really big menu! So many choices of sushi and similar foods with a variety of starter, main and dessert options! I went there with a friend for one of the boats I’d seen online, it was so nice and I would definitely recommend going. Each different type of sushi had such great flavour. So, so good! The sushi here is delicious, cannot fault it. The restaurant is small and informal, the service brilliant and the food is outstanding. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options so something for everyone. Our 9 year old loved the food and gave it 5 stars and the waitress even helped to convert the chopsticks to training chopsticks for him which was really thoughtful and helped him enjoy the experience even more. Personally I'd recommend the tofu dishes which were really tasty.

The place itself is no-frills but the food is exquisite! Fabulous treat. Highly recommend the prawn tempura rolls - the prawns are still warm and crispy within the roll when it comes to the table. Heaven!

Popped in for lunch and not disappointed as served some fantastic freshly made sushi. Can highly recommended the tempura prawn urami. Owner friendly and with 20 years of experience making sushi comes up with his own creations as well as making his own kimchi which makes some other kimchis seem tasteless. Some of the best sushi we've had and can't wait to get back for a full slap meal.

Both my partner and I love sushi and did not even know this places existed so close to home. So glad we have found this! the food was lovely and so are the people that run this amazing restaurant definitely should be a go too if you would like a quiet meal.

This place is an utter gem. I had given up trying to find genuinely good sushi outside of London until finding Jet sushi. Everything is exactly as it should be, and as such, a world away from chain places; everything is prepared to order with top quality authentic ingredients and is the best you will find. The owner - chef is utterly charming, accomplished and hardworking, and nothing is too much trouble- his craft is quite clearly his passion and he is dedicated to his clientele. Whether for eat-in or takeaway, if you really care about eating the very best example of super fresh and authentic Japanese sushi, then this place is unmissable!

This is a small restaurant tucked away next to the River Chelmer. There is a good menu of sushi and sashimi and some hot dishes and, for the quality, all very reasonably priced. We were very happy with the food here and will definitely return.
