Read on Chelmsford City face book page, this was the best Indian in Chelmsford and looked at the reviews on line to find the same. Food is the best Indian takeaway in Chelmsford 9 out 10 as you forgot one of our mint sauces otherwise it would have been 10/10

We tried this after all the good reviews. I was shocked actually how accurate they were. We were a little early for collection and they gave us a chai tea which was so good. The food was delicious and definitely lived up o our expectations. We will definitely be back!

Deliciously Delicious. Every dish was just so tasty. We ordered for the first time tonight and picked up our food. Everything stayed hot in the fab packaging. Special mention of the Dansak, wonderful. Appreciated the first order discount. Lovely lady at the counter, premises super. Definitely going to try the Heritage Menu next. Well done everyone

We ordered a takeaway for collection this evening and had the best takeaway Indian meal we’ve had for a long time. The food was hot and tasty, beautifully prepared and presented, with each dish tasting delicious and well-cooked.

Great food, tasted very fresh, you can tell they use high quality ingredients. Customer service exemplary, easy to order online. Shame it’s only take away, as they have the makings of a successful dine in restaurant

I went to this takeaway on Satirdsy evening . Normally I order on lime but as I was walking past I said to myself I would walk in. I was treated like a king from the second I walked in. I don't think I have ever experienced anything like it In any takeaway. I lost count of the staff and manager that I talked too..I ordered lamb Vindaloo, sag paneer, and Pilau rice. While I was waiting I spoke to various members of staff and had a cup of tea. One of the chefs came out and said hello. The manager/owner then said after talking with me that he had something special for me to try. It was a vindaloo biryani . He Said try this and see what you think. Anyway after some more talking and shaking hands I left on my merry way. The food quality from here is so good. Very tasty. The lamb vindaloo melted in my mouth it was so soft. The sag paneer didn't have added sugar and had cubes of paneer that were succulent and the lamb vindaloo biryani was a treat . You can tell why they have won awards. The service and food were 10 out of 10. Going back is not even questionable . Fantastic and a must for any curry loving fan in Chelmsford. You also get a 10% taken off if you collect. We'll done to this restaurant. 👏👏.

OMG just wow! Where do I start with this amazing place! Beautifully decorated with lovely staff with a smile. The food was amazing, must try the chicken wings which also has a little bit of breast piece (as us Bengali’s would say “fatia liso miah” which means you’ve smashed it!!!!. Lamb biriyani took me back to my childhood and tasted like an aknee (not sure about the potatoes though) nevertheless again great fantastic!!!! Looks like I’ll be a regular from now on, keep it up guys!!!! MUST TRY 💯

Wow the service was amazing, the staff and the manager were very professional! You can tell there is a real passion from the chef right down to the front line staff! The venue is beautiful! I think this might be the best curry I’ve ever had. Can’t fault it. Both the butter chicken and Balti chicken were delicious with tender meat, and they were very generous portions with lots of meat. The onion bhajis were crispy and tasty. The naans were great too, cooked perfectly with great flavours. I can’t wait to go back already!

Kaani Kaana seems to have every element of a successful business/takeaway right. All of the fantastic staff are happy, knowledgeable and helpful (especially Alifiya and Hazel). The quality of the ingredients is high. The food is always delivered hot, and presented in nice, strong containers which don't leak! Can't wait to order again soon.

This is by far the best take away we have ever had ! Ever dish we tried has been amazing. We popped into the place to thank them for their outstanding customer experience. Yelina Arsha and Alifiya were lovely to us and introduced us to the boss Sadiq They gave me a lovely tote bag and thank us for the feedback. Best to phone ahead with your order as was a bit of a wait for walk ins. More expensive than the average Indian take away but better taste and quality than the average Indian take away. This will now be our Indian of choice.

Granted, it’s a takeaway rather than a restaurant but don’t let that put you off - the food is excellent, the range impressive, and the opportunity to try something different is welcome. Lots of Bangladeshi cuisine on offer and a chance to try recipes you won’t have had a chance to enjoy in Chelmsford before. It’s a real boon for vegetarians and vegans and I’d imagine is winning friends because of that. However, omnivores won’t be disappointed either - there’s a decent range and a wealth of new tastes and dishes to tempt even the most jaded of palettes. Service is prompt and courteous and the food is uniformly good. It is now my go to for a curry. If I had to pick fault, the only thing I would like to see improved would be the naan breads but even as I type this I feel mean spirited. I may like a lambier Keema or a Peshwari with more almonds but I’d be a curmudgeon not to give them five stars. Kaani Kaana is a welcome addition to Chelmsford, the team should be applauded for bringing something different to a town that can feel awash with identikit restaurants. Give them a go - you won’t regret it.
