We have been to the Olive several times and always they are friendly and very welcoming the service is excellent and the food is outstanding on all our visits and is one of the best restaurants we have been where it is really good service. Definitely worth a visit for dinner and a memory not to forget.

What a delightful hotel! Quiet, comfortable, quirky and above all the staff were without exception brilliant! We sat on the terrace for a pre dinner drink Looking at restful views and very busy rabbits on the hotel lawn! Dinner was delicious, fresh, tasty and well presented. The restaurant staff both at dinner and breakfast couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Our room was definitely “ quirky”, clean and spacious with lovely views over the lawns and fields. We had a peaceful night’s sleep and would recommend a visit to Flitwick Manor to anyone.

Just found this little gem close to my work and ordered a full English to go with extras, easy to order on the phone, lovely staff and wow!, such a tasty breakfast, cooked to perfection and to order. Will definitely be a returning customer over the next 2 years😋 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My two-night stay at the Manor was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. It began with the journey to my room, located in a distant part of the hotel, accessed via a confusing maze of corridors and steep steps. Despite indicating my age (76) during the online check-in, I was given a room that required a challenging climb. Upon arrival, I struggled to open the heavy door, and when it finally gave way, I was met with a step down into the room with no warning. I stumbled in the darkness, only able to navigate using my phone’s torch as the light switches didn’t work properly. The room was dim, dingy, and cold, with no central lighting and a faulty radiator supplemented by an electric heater. The room, labeled as a ‘Superior double,’ was anything but. It lacked style, warmth, and comfort. The furniture was outdated, the carpet dreadful, and the décor depressing. The centerpiece was a dark, empty hole where a fireplace once stood, adding to the uninviting atmosphere. The bathroom was purely functional, with a weak shower. Breakfast was equally disappointing. On the second morning, I tried Eggs Benedict, which consisted of tasteless ham on an un-toasted muffin with bland poached eggs. The fruit salad was basic. For this subpar breakfast, I was charged an extra £17 per day, totaling over £270 for two nights. Despite voicing my complaints, staff merely promised to pass them on, attributing issues to the building’s age. On checkout, I was informed I wouldn’t be charged for the breakfasts due to my feedback, but this was scant consolation. I was promised a follow-up call from the manager, which never happened. The overall complacency suggests my complaints will not be addressed. For the price, you can find far better service and standards elsewhere. Avoid this hotel.
