We had our dog, so ate in the bar area. Nice service and the food was good

Arrived at 12.50 on 23rd May with a friend. Sat down as menus were on the table but just as we were about to order at the counter a large group arrived, at least 20, grabbed menus and queued. Asked politely if we could be served first as we had arrived first but were met with a flat refusal, so left. Thought that was most unhelpful.

Had my late father's wake at the swan ❤️ my thanks go out to Stephanie and the staff and kitchen girls the food was fabulous and 😋 yummy catered for the fussy eaters the vegans the vegetarians and was careful that there was no nut products I praise everyone for the lovely lay out buffet cannot fault anything would recommend any Avent at this pub 🍻 thankyou from bottom of my heart to all ❣️

Ordered a takeaway tonight and it was aweful, the food was so bad we threw nearly all of it in the bin. Last time we will have a takeaway from there.

The cafe is in a great location and very tidy, with smiling employees and Great service, food and drinks, everything was delicious! I recommend the flatbread :)

Fantastic fish and chips the best in flitwick

We go here for Sunday lunch on a regular basis now as the food is excellent. You get good sized portions, though extra roast potatoes are a must. Selection and menu are very good and the seating comfortable. They also have decent wine.

Had decided on choosing The Blackbirds for my lunch whilst i was on a training course staff were all very helpful. I went with the Hot Honey Chicken Burger which put come smelling delicious and was just as tasty compliments to the chef would highly recommended going and paying a visit.

Really,.really poor. Firstly, explicitly requested food to arrive at a certain time but it arrived 25 mins early. Chicken tikka unseasoned, naan bread burned. Raita like wallpaper paste. Lack of care and attention to customers and details. Very,very poor. Never ordering from you again. Substandard. Not worth a quarter of what I paid. Should be ashamed of yourselves, I can cook better

I ordered a chicken chow mean and sweet and sour chicken balls the chicken in the chow mean was tuff and over cooked and the chicken balls looked like pork balls and where so tuff that they where unbeatable Would never use them again

Been here a few times and each time has been fantastic. Good quality sandwiches, friendly staff and a wide selection of food. They offer everything from sandwiches to jacket potatoes and full cooked breakfasts. I always get a simple ham and salad sandwich and it’s always been nice. I recommend coming here if you’re looking to catch up with friends and family, looking for a quick and easy lunch or just want some place to chill and eat.

Very disappointed indeed. Egg fried rice was brown and contained no egg. Vegetables in dishes very sparse and sweet and sour sauce runny and tasteless. Whole meal laced with garlic and salt. Won’t be going back that’s for sure.
