Lovely place to relax and enjoy a beer or two!

Nice enough local pub. Decent beer and excellent service if one of the twins are on.

Popped in for a lunchtime pint, roll & a packet crisps.....locals friendly & played pool....right by the train station & parking too.

Wells pub selling ales & craft+ bottles. Outside seating & car park . Jukebox & pool table. Next door to the train station

Disappointing is not the word, awful service. After queuing patiently for half an hour the bar lady would only let me buy one drink for myself, she refused to serve myself and group of friends ages 25-32 on the basis it’s 35 and over after midnight. As a local I absolutely would not go back this pub.

Friendly pub, but food availability is subject to how busy the pub is, nice place for a quick pint though.

Refreshing to see a pub this busy - O.K.: it was quiz night.... but both the front and back bars were busy for a Sunday night.

Good beer. Not too crowded. Real ales from the re-formed Charles Wells brewery in Bedford. Occasionally beers from Timothy Taylor's. Bar snacks available. Very handy for train services.

Lovely G&TS, friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere.

Once a favourite local pub, it is still friendly and a nice building but unfortunately the ale has gone downhill since the previous landlord retired. Two Wells beers tried by our group, which were just about drinkable but hardly enjoyable.

excellent lunch time menu and great selection of beers on draught, we had the sharing meat menu and a selection of bread and olives and it was fantastic

Pleasant stay at The Swan. Clean, nice and tidy room. Struggled a bit to find something for dinner, but we managed to find decent options for us as well at decent prices. I liked that they have space for kids where they can play and spend some time, being supervised by parents. In the morning we served there breakfast, plenty of options. Lovely stay at decent price.

Came here for a few Sunday afternoon drinks. Staff were good, drinks were reasonably priced and the seating was comfy. Found it a bit weird to randomly have someone doing a drum and bass set on a Sunday afternoon though

A lovely atmosphere with good food. I visited the Swan with my family including a 6 month old and the staff were very accommodating. The food is generously portioned and affordable. I also enjoyed the company of the pub dog, Archie; who added to the welcoming experience. I look forward to visiting the Swan again.

I recently threw my dad a surprise 60th party in one half of The Swan and I can't thank Steph and Chris enough. From start to finish Steph was a fantastic communicator and helped us organise everything from the food to the music - nothing was too much. The buffet was delicious and there was so much food we sadly couldn't finish it all! The party was a great success and everyone commented on how lovely the staff were and how lovely the decor was in the pub. Thank you Steph and Chris for hosting a fantastic night! We cannot wait to have another party there again. Hannah x

Bar staff were nice and friendly.

Really friendly pub and a little gem in flitwick. Haven't been to a pub in a long time since the pandemic. Went in with my little one in the afternoon and it was great for lunch. Very friendly staff and tasty food. Will be back again.

Freindly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, have their own pub dog who was very chilled.

Are used to use this pub a lot haven’t been there for 10 years I went for a beer Sunday lunchtime I waited at the bar for 10 minutes this was 12:30. I thought that was odd leaving a bar empty when there’s money in the tills when I went for another pint about 3/4 an hour later I again waited for about 5 to 7 minutes nobody behind the bar. I went and knocked on the kitchen door which the landlord came out to Survey I said this is the second time I’ve had to wait at least seven minutes for somebody to come she said well we’re doing food and I said well this is a pub as well there should be somebody at the bar not leaving it empty for 10 minutes. I won’t be going back

Called up for a last minute booking - and we were warmly welcomed! Spoke to Carla on the phone who was very helpful and Milly served us our drinks. We only came for drinks so didn’t get to try the food but will be back ASAP to try it out. Thank you and can’t wait to be back!

so i decided to go in for lunch, i was there for about 10 minutes before anyone realised.i waited an hour and a half for my food to be cooked and when it did arrive the food was cold and the portions were very small to the point that i had to go down to the blackbirds instead and when i made a complaint landlord christopher was very rude and didnt seem to care. I would also like to mention how the place looked like had been decorated from items in the poundland reduced to clear section. if i could rate 0 stars i would!!!

Myself and my husband visited this establishment one day and have never heard such a rude man in all our life we beleive him to be the landlord when we complained he just laughed so we have taken the matter further with the brewery and will definitely be going back anytime soon

Average pub, trying hard to provide for the community, breakfasts,dinners & lunches, plus special events including beer tastings etc. Good management team

Ordered two Sunday roasts, one turkey and one beef both came with a spoonful of sweet potato, baton carrots, small florets of cauliflower and broccoli, a small ball of stuffing, Yorkshire pud and 4 small, fluffy, buttery well roasted potatoes (could have done with a couple more these were so good), and came with a large gravy boat. Hubby was still hungry so ordered treacle sponge with vanilla ice cream and Blueberry and apple crumble with lashings lovely thick custard. Very good indeed. We'll be back

Went with walking group for our Christmas lunch. A very good meal and friendly staff. The beer was also great. Will br returning again next year as good value for money from new landlords. Decor could do with some attention

Popped in for tea and selected the chicken bunny chow which was curry served on a bread plate ( about a third of a small uncut loaf with the middle taken out) it was ok but nothing special6/10 our bill had the Cajun butterfly chicken with rustic chips ( from the rustic freezer no doubt)but he enjoyed it 8/10

Arrived 7.45 hoping to eat, waited 10mins to even be acknowledged and when we tried to order we were told the chef had 'just left'. Had one beer then left. This pub makes a big deal of the food on signs outside but only serves until 8pm, it needs to make up its mind on what it wants to be! V dissapointed.

Easy access, very closer to the train station. Pricing on drinks is reasonable but cannot rate their food as I never ate there. Place is generally clean, the atmosphere is cool but please mind that you are visiting a countryside pub and some occasional argument can happen later in the night between local residents :D. Staff is nice and I never had any complain. Good place for a pint or two while playing a dart board game and meeting friends.

Decided to have a late breakfast here. The landlord served us straight away and we chose the All day breakfast - which included x2 bacon, x2 sausages, egg, toast, hash browns, choice of beans or tomatoes and a tea - meat is sourced by Deacons the local butcher.There is also a vegetarian choice as well.I forgot to take an early photo and realised this after I had started to tuck in, the food really is that good.Worth a visit

Had Christmas meal here good quality and quantity. Pub need a refresh in decor but the beers are good.

Good value honest Sunday roast dinner. Good sized portions (very generous sized for the kids). Very tasty and everyone was happy. Attentive staff who looked after us and tolerated the kids!! We will be back.

I liked this pub. Basic and simple but pleasant to be in. Popular with the locals and pleasant bar staff. A reasonable selection of beers and spirits to choose from. Easy to find and get to by road or rail.

A really good place where you can drink very good beer. Perfect to play either pool or darts, as well. Or both.

A simple basic pub with great atmosphere and bar staff A good selection of beers and ales.

A short walk from our base at Flitwick Manor and received a warm welcome by the Landlord and Lady. Plus a nice conversation with the Locals. Good selection of beers and Gins for the Ladies.

Music too loud you can't hear yourself think not the best place to go

Lovely clean and well decorated pub with really friendly staff, a nice atmosphere and great food. Fab outside play area for my little boy with a tractor climbing frame and views of the train station so plenty to keep a vehicle obsessed 4 year old entertained! Toilets were also modern and really clean. Can't wait to come again (for breakfast next time!).

Tolerable turn of the century pub in a town not known for good pubs. Decent beer selection.

At very short notice we were able to secure a lovely lunch for 14 people, nothing was too much trouble, especially when changing/ swapping items in meals (sausage!!!). Very tasty food, we will definitely be returning!

What a great place very good beer, pool table and really attentive staff, next to the station for trains to London it ticks a lot of boxes. However i had a chicken burger which I think may have made me ill.

Cracking pint of stout, fast WiFi, good place to kill some time when you're waiting to get out of Flitwick 👍
