Popped in for a glass of wine and lunch after a hospital visit in the morning. I have to say the food, drink and staff ticked all the boxes

My partner and I really enjoyed our afternoon here. We just went for some drinks but the atmosphere was really chilled and I especially loved the Halloween display!

Visited with friends for bottomless brunch and a member of staff called Nikki looked after us and explained how it worked. Her and Faye kept an eye on our table and made sure our drinks were topped up and were such lovely members of staff! Everyone on the table enjoyed the food too! Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Visited friend in Flitwick and chose Blackbirds for our lunch. The meals were really good value and we finished with some nice sweets. Ryan met us on entry and cared for us throughout our stay. He was very polite and caring and made our day just a bit special. A credit to the company. We’ll be back !

Bottomless brunch is self service, can’t get a cup of tea instead of alcohol. Breakfast mediocre, place was cold. Not fun and not good value.

Excellent, friendly and helpful service both from the guy at the bar and Fallon who served us at the table. The food was brought to the table nice and promptly and was absolutely delicious so compliments to the chef too! A lovely atmosphere and we will definitely eat here again.

Out with a friend we had a lovely Sunday lunch, fresh food and lovely and hot the top two musts for me. Was served by our friendly waiter Ryan Fallon very jolly and helpful. Will defo go again.

Brilliant atmosphere, Brilliant Staff - visited for a pre wedding night and the service and organisation was excellent, would definitely consider Blackbirds as my first choice when in Flitwick!

What a truly fabulous pub/ restaurant. I was put in charge of organising an evening meal for 16 people including 2 children and relatives from abroad , in a part of the country that I knew very little about . Following a google search and a phone call to the Blackbirds, I was introduced to Lauren. Lauren could not have been more helpful. A couple of emails later and our meals were ordered - a few days in advance due to the size of the party . On the night everything was so well organised . A section of the pub had been set aside for us and tables set up beautifully to allow for mingling. The staff were amazing, friendly , efficient and up for a laugh with us all. The food was served hot and everyone got exactly what they had ordered. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the drinks flowed freely. There were obviously many locals in the pub and they too were very friendly. Thank you to everyone at the Blackbirds for making our night so special . A great time was had by all and it was a great start to our weekend of celebrations.

We went to Blackbirds the night before my wedding and had a huge group of people. The staff managed to get us a booking in the corner with multiple tables and we had no delay with any food or drinks coming to us. The staff were happy to get involved with talking to us to help make our evening even better, would absolutely recommend The Blackbirds as we now have a memory for life as part of our celebration!

Great Sunday roast with family. Very reasonable and yummy. Clean establishment, cutlery, crockery. Food was hot and presented well. Highly recommend.

Popped in once for a quick lunch as it has a park for the kids… and it’s now become our favourite spot! The food is brilliant, good portion sizes, great price and credit to the chef. The service from Ryan, Charlie, Faye and the team is more than a ‘service’, you feel welcomed like family which puts you straight at ease. It’s also a great spot to cozy up with a good book beside their fireplace. Ideal for all occasions, family lunch, mates dinner, with/without the kids.. dogs welcome too! Superb all in all - highly recommend a visit!

Lovely pub! Great food selection and service and in a lovely setting. Good choices for kids too. Huge pub garden- looking forward to coming back in the warmer weather!

Ryan and Nikki are amazing. We love coming on a Friday for treat. Has a great atmosphere, good service and food is always good. Also bring our children and grandchildren for Sunday lunch. We had Fish and Chips it was crispy batter and fish was lovely. Would recommend for a lunch

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff (Nikki, Ryan and Jake where on today). The food was (as always) delicious and filling. I was recommended having pulled pork on the burger, and it was a win there. Would recommend for a met up with family, friends or even eating on your own. Until next time.

Booked a table for 8 people and my dog, often you can not get a table for this size but they accomdated our large party size giving us a very good seating area. Ryan and nikka were on shift and both were so helpful and polite throughout our time there. The food came in good time and it was very tasty food for a good price. I was very impressed with my experience and would recommend this pub to people. Thank you Ryan and nikki and staff.

We have been a few times in the last couple of months. Nice and friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. The Sunday roast was nice, with a variety of vegetables and there is a lot of choice on the menu for starters. mains and desserts as well. Best to book so not disappointed, would recommend a visit.

Such a lovely family pub. The staff are mostly always helpful and friendly. One or two could do with some customer service training but you take the rough with the smooth. The food is reasonably priced with good portion sizing. We’ve had steaks, lasagne, mac n cheese, burgers, roasts, pretty much most of the food off the menu! The chefs do such a good job, even when it’s busy. We’ve been in with the family but also just my husband and I of an evening and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend The Blackbirds for a family meal, a roast dinner or a night out.
