I like the Plough. It is informal and very relaxed. It represents the kind of original village public house where locals chat around the bar and non-locals are warmly welcomed. It's not a gourmet or gastro pub and it's not a modern glitzy pub. It's just a friendly, comfortable place to get a beer, wine, g&t etc.

Had coffee and scones, in the coffee shop, scones were a bit dry sadly. Bought 2 shrubs and some dahlia tubers, good value and healthy looking shrubs.

Authentic pub. Great atmosphere. Great service. Recently refurbished. Dog friendly. Massive outdoor spaces. Had a couple of events here where we reserved some space and provided food for our guests. It was wonderful. Just a shame they no longer do food here. But this does not deter me from supporting my local pub

Poor staff. Served a regular before someone who was queuing first. I observed the bar man using one hand to pour a mixer so his hand was all over the rim of the glass with no consideration that the customer was going to drink from where his hand had been. Locals were drunk and took great delight in using every four letter word under the sun just to demonstrate that they knew them.

Not been here for a while was pleasantly surprised at how it's been done out. Visited for a wake which was well organised and the guys serving at the bar were quick and efficient. It has a nice open area outside to sit in when the weather's good. They don't have facilities here for food but it you want to pop in for a pint your at the right place. They do run extras like beer festivals and a local classic car club meet there once a month.

Only pub in the village, but a great pub. Friendly to everyone and I mean it! Good pool table and darts board, don't see them in many pubs now! If you want a drink in a decent pub, the plough is your place.

Good to see the Pub open. Had nice pt of IPA. Bringing a pub back to life doesn't happen over night but believe it's on the right course. The bar man was friendly and explained what the Manager and Green King were hoping to do. I will be back. Also hope it won't be too long food is back on sale.

The Plough is a quiet, fairly typical village pub situated in the tiny village of Langford, Bedfordshire. The decor is in keeping and cute, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the area is picturesque and perfect for a long walk after a few drinks in the sunshine, and the food is fairly priced and delicious. I've visited a few times, the last was with a friend who was visiting the area. We had a delicious and generous plate of chicken Caesar salad, a couple of side orders each and drinks, and ended up leaving with change from £30. Would definitely recommend :)

We held our daughters wake here and Tracey and staff were fantastic. Tracey gave us a lot of support and laid on a wonderful buffet. The atmosphere was good despite the occasion. Tracey went above and beyond to make everything go perfectly. Tracey is an asset to our village and the plough is the heart of it. Highly recommended to everyone

Everyone knows everyone in the Plough but isn't that always the way with a village pub? I keep thinking about the line from "Cheers" - "You want to go where everybody knows your name". Yes, the Plough really is like that! However, if you go in there and it's your first visit, you will be made most welcome by Tracey and Gary, their staff and all the regulars. Great food on all levels from bar snacks to sit down meals, a very welcoming atmosphere and there's even a pub library and Tai Chi classes conducted by Gary - I would imagine that that's a rare occurrence, Tai Chi in a pub! Tracey and Gary have worked extremely hard to make the Plough a success and have succeeded admirably so, if you happen to be passing through Langford, the Plough is well worth a visit.

Good food, good laughs and a good time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly, was fresh and tasty and didn’t cost a fortune. Nice decorations and Christmas cocktails too! Ally and Katy were fabulous and couldn’t have been more helpful.

There's a bathroom and shower... I don't know if you can take a break but there shouldn't be any stress when you're leaving... whoever is going to unload has to go in the back... first there will be a small gate where you'll ring the bell and they'll go open, then go to the scales and then they will tell you where by truck, then empty, leave the company and go back in to put it on the weighbridge, pick up papers and leave

In experienced staff with no idea how things work or what they have on offer… “we are booked” with loads of empty tables… sitting outside getting cold, told there were no blankets (which we later found inside in a big basket) and the heaters didn’t work. Lovely cake! Very average coffee. Why offer a booking system? It makes no business sense. Take the money of the people who actually turn up. One of the booked tables didn’t turn up 🤦🏻♂️ We won’t be back 😬
