Had coffee and scones, in the coffee shop, scones were a bit dry sadly. Bought 2 shrubs and some dahlia tubers, good value and healthy looking shrubs.

Authentic pub. Great atmosphere. Great service. Recently refurbished. Dog friendly. Massive outdoor spaces. Had a couple of events here where we reserved some space and provided food for our guests. It was wonderful. Just a shame they no longer do food here. But this does not deter me from supporting my local pub

Poor staff. Served a regular before someone who was queuing first. I observed the bar man using one hand to pour a mixer so his hand was all over the rim of the glass with no consideration that the customer was going to drink from where his hand had been. Locals were drunk and took great delight in using every four letter word under the sun just to demonstrate that they knew them.

Not been here for a while was pleasantly surprised at how it's been done out. Visited for a wake which was well organised and the guys serving at the bar were quick and efficient. It has a nice open area outside to sit in when the weather's good. They don't have facilities here for food but it you want to pop in for a pint your at the right place. They do run extras like beer festivals and a local classic car club meet there once a month.

Good to see the Pub open. Had nice pt of IPA. Bringing a pub back to life doesn't happen over night but believe it's on the right course. The bar man was friendly and explained what the Manager and Green King were hoping to do. I will be back. Also hope it won't be too long food is back on sale.

I like the Plough. It is informal and very relaxed. It represents the kind of original village public house where locals chat around the bar and non-locals are warmly welcomed. It's not a gourmet or gastro pub and it's not a modern glitzy pub. It's just a friendly, comfortable place to get a beer, wine, g&t etc.

I went there with 2 friends for a quite drink and finished up spending the all evening there until the closing time because we felt so welcome and comfortable among the other customers at the bar. The landlady Tracey had welcome us into her fold. We were also welcome by several dogs, which also seemed to enjoy the company. We will certainly go back again.

Went after work with a friend for a couple of beers and a catch up. The Plough has good parking and is a quiet cosy pub. Don't be put off by the England flag draped over the window. A Green King house and the IPA was pretty good. They have a guest ale on to. A few locals in sat around the bar who seemed pretty friendly. You need to like dogs here as there were two large Germans Shepherds and a black Labrador running freely around the bar.

The Plough is a quiet, fairly typical village pub situated in the tiny village of Langford, Bedfordshire. The decor is in keeping and cute, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the area is picturesque and perfect for a long walk after a few drinks in the sunshine, and the food is fairly priced and delicious. I've visited a few times, the last was with a friend who was visiting the area. We had a delicious and generous plate of chicken Caesar salad, a couple of side orders each and drinks, and ended up leaving with change from £30. Would definitely recommend :)

Everyone knows everyone in the Plough but isn't that always the way with a village pub? I keep thinking about the line from "Cheers" - "You want to go where everybody knows your name". Yes, the Plough really is like that! However, if you go in there and it's your first visit, you will be made most welcome by Tracey and Gary, their staff and all the regulars. Great food on all levels from bar snacks to sit down meals, a very welcoming atmosphere and there's even a pub library and Tai Chi classes conducted by Gary - I would imagine that that's a rare occurrence, Tai Chi in a pub! Tracey and Gary have worked extremely hard to make the Plough a success and have succeeded admirably so, if you happen to be passing through Langford, the Plough is well worth a visit.
