Costa in Central Bedfordshire

Ordered 2 coffees and a bacon roll and they forgot the food

3 hours late. Frappe was defrosted already and only half a cup, hot drink arrived cold and different than ordered

Coffee had spilled out everywhere and none of the hot food items were delivered but payment had been taken for them!

Went in for a mocha and croissant I will return when I'm next in town

Friendly staff and nice lattes. Edit: recently the caramel lattes have been tasting weird. Not sure if it is the syrup.

ABYSMAL, COMPLETELY HORRIBLE DO NOT ORDER. Over 1 hour late and the whole order was MISSING except a drink that came in a terrible state missing stuff on it. HOW IS THIS ALLOWED TO OPERATE.

all the items were not there an this was the second time this has happened so very disappointed as things are expensive, tried to ring customer service an it's permanently shut so no way of complaining so will not ever be using costa again ,very bad servive

Only brought one of my two items and still didn’t send it . Horrible .

disappointed as I ordered a chocolate orange muffin an it wasn't in the bag so tried to ring but as it was sunday it went through to customer service so not sure if will be going back there again

Great Costa just always melting in there can you have your air con on more woulda got you 5 start but I literally sweat in there waiting to be served which puts you off going in Also close too early and especially market days shut by 4 on a sat Is a joke.

Mac and cheese was missing from the order. No one answering the phones at Costa. DO BETTER!

Missed out Bakewell tart and hot chocolate only filled half the cup.

this is a fairly small coffee shop it is kept clean and tidy. The staff are friendly

coffee was lovely! Ham and cheese toastie, bread was a little stale if I'm honest. The fillings tasted great but the bread wasn't enjoyable. Will try again tho 👍🏻

Fuming paid for baps and drinks, only drinks arrived never using just eat again!!!

Only a piece of cake delivered. No attempt to contact me to say the tuna melt was not available! Not happy at all.

It took ages to do one coffee, multiple people who came in after me got served immediately whereas I had to wait probably about 20-25 min until I got my order plus had to remind them of the order. Will choose a different coffee place next time.

Nice place, although crowded, usually noisy, rarely free seats. Food and drinks overall quite good.

Opening time 8:00 need to wait to 5mins. Staff not trained and very slow. Very disappointed experience.

I used to use this place but ive just found the coffee quality vs price to be too much nowadays for what you get. I finally returned after about a 4 month hiatus of ordering daily coffees on the way to work and the one use cup was a no use cup, there was a seeping hole in the bottom, where my £5.15 coffee slowly leaked out of for the remainder of the beverage. Given how many coffeee shops and turkish barbers there are in Leighton Buzzard (we really know how to keep the UK economy growing eh..), you'd think at least one of them wasnt a rip off... I would add a picture but im on the laptop at work, not my phone. Might add later on if i remember

Cappuccino arrived damaged. Coffee was pouring out the bottom of the cup. Leaking all over delivery drivers bag and food bags

This shop claims to be open until 17:00, I have been in on a number of occasions while visiting family in leighton buzzard and they have closed at 16:00.

I’m a regular at Costa and the staff are always pleasant and efficient. Our food and drinks are quick to come out and the shop is generally well looked after and a lovely to place to have a hot chocolate :)

Amazing place, always busy which shows good coffee and staff no issues what so ever.

Staff were not adequately trained and didn't appear to have any knowledge whatsoever about the drinks they sold. They didn't know which of their drinks were caffeine free, and tried to convince me that green tea has no caffeine. They forgot one of our drinks. Tables were sticky and untidy. The staff spent all their time larking about. Not very professionally run.

It's Costa not much say. Staff were OK although the seemed a bit rushed. Atmosphere was fine but unlike an independent it lacks a fun and friendly vibe

Food wasn’t delivered, missing 2/3 items

1 food was stale and unedible and one never ever turned up. Iced coffee wasn't nice at all.

Third time I’ve been now for an ice drink and they have run out of ice. Not good at all

I supported a lady with a learning disability, this lady is a regular at costa Leighton buzzard. However my lady was taking a little longer to choose what she wanted and found the young Irish (I think) girl with dark hair & glasses very quiet in speaking in which time she decided to serve a guy behind us, my lady was ready to lay but the girl serving served the other chap instead. Found it very rude and also she kept talking to me rather than my lady, it was my lady ordering not me. A police, would you mind if I served the gentleman behind you so you have a bit mure fine but she didn’t. Sat here typing this with my cardigan sticking to the table - not great guys! Usually you’re amazing

Small venue, tables somewhat cramped in. Decor is bland and no real atmosphere with around 10 inside tables and no comfy seats

Love it here, best coffee ever, lovely toasties and cakes. Sometimes the staff let the chain down, but it's pretty good here. Before I moved here, my favourite was in Harrow Town centre staff were exceptionally helpful, never ever gave customers " The Look" even though some customers should be thrown out with the way they talk to the staff. Been to another site on a small retail Park in leighton buzzard twice and both times the service was awful and the staff lied about not serving hot food or giving customers their coffees in take away containers instead of cups.

Ordered oat hot chocolate but was given Almond milk instead with no call to ask if I had any allergies to Almond. Very risky to do

On three occasions this week at different times I’ve had my order cancelled with no reason whatsoever. They sound like genuinely can’t be bothered. Why be on Uber?

Rude staff rushing to take order order and made a snarky comment when I asked a question, unclean tables so decided to take away. Hot food was smushed inside the paper wrap so went to Waitrose to grab a packet of cutlery. I said fork it, atleast got some christmassy coffee. It wasn't horrid, but definitely not going in there again.

I usually stick to and support independent Coffee shops but on Sunday I was in town early and Costa was the only coffee establishment open, I decided to pop in for a quick Latte. Staff were super friendly, but considering it was 9:30am the tables were dirty with empty cups, half eaten food and it wasn’t even busy. They remained like this during the 30 minutes I was in there. The latte wasn’t great (as per the picture), looked like an afterthought and tasted really weak like a milky water where the coffee bean had merely skimmed the top of it. Safe to say I’ll be passing on getting a coffee from here even if the Independents are shut.

I just went to pick up my too good to go bag. The lady on the counter was the rudest person I have ever had as a server. She refused to help me or check my order was there- even though I had the order confirmed on the app and everything. When her colleague very kindly helped me instead, the first lady serving me dumped my order on the side, said nothing to me, and wouldn’t even look at me. I am horrified that someone this rude is allowed to serve customers. I will absolutely never be returning, and strongly advise others to have their coffee elsewhere

Would have given five stars, but we had to wait a long time for our drinks as someone else had picked them up. Im not sure what happened here but they were very kind once I approached them and new drinks were served straight away.

The delievery was fast, my drink was not a meduim, I needed a ladder to drink it. The food was lukewarm and the lemon drizzile cake slice was banana loaf cake which I did not order a heads up on the cake would have been nice, the only thing I really wanted was that as I am craving lemon drizzle cake. For what I got I am not happy with the amount I had to pay. Sorry for the negativity just wanted to inform yourselves of quality.

Do not listen when order placed and some staff continued to stare after buying something to take home ,looking to see if I had eaten in store.

I travelled to pick up a Too Good to Go order between 1600 and 1630. Once I got to the store at 1600 I received a notification that my order was cancelled. I spoke to Stella the store manager who was rude and dissmissive essentially saying she can do what she likes and tough. Terrible customer service and a wasted journey and cost for me.

Some of the best drinks, their peach iced tea is heavenly! Their staff are very welcoming and lovely and they barely ever mess up orders.

Popular cafe with good range of hot and cold drinks and snacks in a convenient town centre location.

I ordered a rocky road and I got delivered a bosh ultimate slice which I was not impressed with as that is what I asked for and didn't even get told that I was getting a change.

This is not cappucino. Zero froth. Also tastes like the coffee you get from an instant machine in a petrol station. At twice the price. Dreadful - never again Costa. I tried to call Costa and they do not answer their phones. Horrible.

They have redesigned it and it's now smaller!! But it's still a Costa.

Nice selection of drinks but it would be helpful if the person taking the orders, actually does it correctly! The past 3 times I have been in and ordered with same guy........3 times the order was wrong 😏

Staff friendly and make great coffee

Says on the door open until 18:00 on a Saturday but they close at 17:00. Luckily there's a cafe Nero round the corner which is open to the same hours as they say on the door.

Staff in this branch are kind of miserable....shame really as used to be much nicer in here! Plus my chai latte wasn't great....tasted like very light dusting of cinnamon in milk....couldn't taste the coffee. Shame.

So painfully slow. Leave 30 minutes from queuing to receipt of order. Astonishingly bad. Why does it take so long to make coffee?

Staff were great, no on site seating when I went however this may have changed.

Hadn’t changed their opening times online so we were only arrived 5 mins before they closed. Supposed to be a treat for the kids to see the lights in town and an terry’s orange hot chocolate. They refused to serve us even though it was still 5 mins to closing time and only two people in queue in front of us. Kids crying.Won’t use this place again. Nero round the corner is a much better experience.

Staff are always so polite and friendly, even on busy days where i can imagine it is hard being a barista. Drinks are always made to perfection and in good time. Even when i am in no rush my drinks are made swiftly and are always perfect. Never had a bad experience!

Always good coffees here. Clear social distance floor markings and signage. What isn't so clear is the menus mounted on the wall - it's like an eye test. If you haven't got the eyes of an eagle, book in advance!

Great staff and seated me where there was space. Will visit again when I'm back.

Local store knows my order and Morgan is always very polite.

Friendly and professional service, accidently spilt a drink as I sat down outside, staff had it cleaned up and made me a new drink without even asking for one. Really would recommend
