Only went in to use the toilet and a quick pint while I was there. Friendly service and a nice pint. Sat in the small beer garden. Seems a nice pub.

The best steak you can get in the area. Very generous pricing and portions. Compliments to the chef You get a great deal on choose it yourself burgers. Cocktails are a bit limited. Frequent events with free entry. Wasn’t too busy the times we came in, quick and friendly service. Plenty of screens which was great for watching the Olympics, however no sound. A pleasant enclosed beer garden with heaters and plenty of shade.

Fern is just Amazing! She is the most efficient manager and the hardest worker I've seen for along time ! Over the last few weeks of the Euros she has managed a fantastic team, created a great atmosphere and service , Always with a smile on her face . ☺

Had a great lunch here! The service was speedy and friendly and provided us with everything we needed. Food was so yummy, i had the steak and added mac and cheese and it was the best ive had. Everything was presented so nicely aswell. We came from over an hour 1/2 away but if ever in the area again will defo come back!

I only go in afternoons or early evenings but beers good and pub grub good at a reasonable price

Called booked a table drive 30 mins to be told there wasn’t a table and this was for 9 persons don’t bother with this place staff were uncaring and unhelpful

I have had regular bar meals in here as I am working in the area. I came in on 14th February and found it busier than usual. The young lady behind the bar was absolutely first class, taking drink and food orders, bringing the food to the table, clearing tables, found time to ask if everything was ok with the food. She deserves a pay rise. Well done.

2pm lunch before picking up grandchildren from school. Very reasonably priced food,although we had won a competition for a free lunch or dinner on valentines day. The manager made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Staff have double standards if you are a group with money you can cause mayhem and play fight but one or two drinks and the fighting affects you your told to drink up and leave its reasonably priced drinks and great for work event or stag or hen night then they'll serve you with a smile 😃 and seems you can behave how you like 🤦‍♀️

Big shout out to the staff at Bumble Bee today. First time out for Christmas dinner with the family, and the staff were really superb. The food was great, a couple of order hiccups which the staff sorted quickly and handled with great service and humour, and overall a wonderful family time. Also, notable recognition for the (I think) manager on shift handling the obnoxious drunk (who i hope feels a great deal of shame with that hangover after the disgusting things said to my partner and pregnant sister in law) on what was clearly a very demanding day already. Well done all!!

Went for Christmas dinner. Food was awesome and service was fantastic, there was a minor mix up with our pre order but it was all sorted very quickly with zero disruption to the meal and experience. And the price was very reasonable for a four course meal!

The manageress reminds me of a young Peggy Mitchell - she runs a great show and has a pub with a vibrant atmosphere of happy punters as a result.

Very reasonable prices and tasty food. We had the gammon meal and kebab meal and both were good quality and good value dishes. There is a good selection of spirits, wine and beers also reasonably priced. Nia was working and she was very friendly, helpful and looked after us well.

Me and my mother, had 2 pub classics for £10.99, we were served by fern shes a very kind polite waitress and I had a full English the food was nice and my mother had hunters chicken bumble bee is a nice pub.

Ferns did a brilliant Halloween party for the kids, everyone had fun and food was amazing thank you to all the staff especially Ferne

We come every time just for our Build your own burgers 🍔, they are amazing with the curry sauce, and my baby girl Holly dog loves coming along to.

We visited the bee after a long absence and found a new menu which looked really good .we decided to try one of the American burgers. And found it was really really enjoyable . We have been a few times and the burgers are yummy.

Saw an advert for a DJ night and ventured in last minute for a couple of drinks which turned into loosing count of drinks as the DJ's music got us straight in to a partying mood. Only downside was that the night had to end, will be keeping an eye out for the next one of these nights as I won't be missing out on the great atmosphere and time that I had.

Disco night! Wow simply fantastic, so glad we popped in, absolutely fantastic DJ’s, electric atmosphere, danced our socks off, bar staff were brilliant and we have a few sore heads this morning but it’s so worth it. We need more nights like this around here, will definitely be back for the next one.

Just landed at Luton airport & after a quick taxi ride home we wanted a meal before we drove to Norfolk. There was a change in menu choice for my husband, as his first option was unavailable! That said it was an easy switch for him & we got the rest of the stuff no problem. The QRcode for our Blue Light Card discount was quickly dealt with & service was very quick too! Food was lovely, the staff offered to re-cook his steak if it wasn't to his liking. (But he wolfed it down super fast😂) The food was amazing, the staff were very friendly, approachable & helpful too. We will come back to dine here again soon👍🏻 Thanks for a lovely meal

We attended The Bumblebee at Flitwick on 16th September 2023 as a family of five, one of which was a small child. The team at The Bumblebee were helpful, friendly and extremely considerate. Not only was the service fabulous, they went the extra by printing out colouring pages for the younger member of our family. Also one of the family members has dietary requirements and they made sure they completely were aware of what could be eaten. The food was good too. Definitely worth a visit.

Usually the place is OK. But today it was rubbish. The Service was shocking, while around ten people were waiting , 1 bar staff, the manager outside gassing to her mates. 10 minutes waiting only to told the food I wanted was not in . So disappointed that I had put a review in

It was tough like I’d never experienced before and you have the cheek to take my money for this unfit food…never again! It wasn’t even worth 1 star. In reply to your response…I have No personal grievances against the manager, only against the food! Take note, my partner & I had food that wasn’t fit for purpose, you need to source some better quality produce.

The last experience was awful, we had turkey Sunday roast which made both of us ill but previously when we visited during the week the food was excellent, this feedback is only about the last visit

My partner & I both had a very chewy steak, a most disappointing experience of eating a steak which appeared to be cooked alright but the quality of the meat was below standard and I wouldn’t repeat my order at this pub & neither would I recommend to others. Greene king used to have nice tasting majored steaks before lockdown but seem to have settled for poorer options since Covid, that’s not the way to gain custom. The fries for example o the menu photo turned out to be chips instead of French fries, the peas & onion rings were ok. But the dish really wasn’t fit for purpose. We won’t be going back there! most likely 'the dentist'.

Just been to the Bumblebee for a meal. Have not been there for a good few years. Very impressed at the service and food. Attentive staff and a great atmosphere and excellent value. Highly recommended will be returning.

The service from the lady on the bar was great she was amazing and very welcoming, however, the wait for the food was not good we were left waiting and when the meal came for my colleagues I had to wait a further 10 for my food (which she did apologise for) when the food was received it was just sub standard, the cheese and chilli bites were literally empty shells there was 0 filling and they had been over cooked, the garlic bread was soft and barely toasted, the wings were bland however they were juicy and the garlic mushrooms were anything but garlic there were a watery mess and it was a shame the chicken tenders however were amazing. my friends breakfast was overcooked and dry he ate only half which again was a shame sadly i wont be returning to this pub but the staff are good so thats a plus

Best boozer for miles. Staff are freindly and all ways helpful. Food is as good as any local restaurant if not better. Good outdoor space with or without cover to suit your mood. Would recommend to all ages.

It’s absolutely wonderful to see fern and the team return the bumble bee to the best local establishment in Flitwick! With an increase of quality in food, service and atmosphere im glad that once again the bumble bee has returned to my favourite local spot! Will definitely be returning!!

Good food. Real ales restricted to just Greene-King IPA on this occasion, but in good condition. Honourable mention is due to the young man seemingly running the place on his own on Monday lunchtime. Presumably, someone else was cooking the food, but they could both do with a bit of help!

Sunday roast was pinged from a microwave no actual cooking involved. Meat was dry and very fatty. No fresh produce on the plate all from the freezer.

Popped with my daughters dog Harley, who has been awarded 'dog of the month'...which apparently entitles him to free ice cream lol. Decent enough Greene King pub, with only IPA on hand appeared most of the usual suspects of draught were on & then a wide & varied selection of bottled beers & ciders. Sat in a nice (secluded from the hustle & bustle) garden, considering where its situated. Didn't eat hence only 4*s

Oh dear a dreadful experience! Staff were lovely, food ok although didn't have lots on the menu. Really rowdy and noisy we couldn't hear ourselves talk, everyone shouting louder and louder. Def won't go back again!
